gives you false info. I made sure I was f rooted. downloaded this app. just because I had magisk I stalled, the app considered me rooted. lol

can't go the "accept our terms of service" part, no button shows up, nothing happens after i go to the link

Good root checker and also provide good basic knowledge on root. But many ads in the apps.

there is waaay to many adds in this app I get you need the no ey and whatnot but slow the hell down with them can't even move 8 seconds before an ad pops up

when i use this app in my samsung Note2 first it said no rooted after i use it 3 more time it said my device rooted i havent touch or download any root file or application why it said like that.

Ha, stupid. On rooted phone starting app with "app wants root" pop-up. I answer "no". Application: "then this phone is not rooted!"

There was way too many ads. I get that they want to earn money but the fact that it said my phone wasnt rooted and did nothing about it sucked. This was so useless.

Well since downloading this websites have started to open at will - I don't need any help with porn, gambling or "winning" things. Removed immediately.

Good app I recommend this app 💯, to check the root status of any decive the little info and terminology is helpful most especially to those that have little knowledge about an android device and its capability. Thumbs up 👍

All of my devices: galaxy s3,galaxy s3 NEO, Galaxy s4 Value edition, Galaxy note3, Galaxy S7 edge,Galaxy a5 2017, Galaxy a9 2018 and the P20 PRO ...all of them were bought brand new except the note 3 But still.....best app for root checking. Thanks to the developer for this app.

Works very well and gives a lot of info! There is a small bug though, it recognizes Android 9 Pie as Oreo. Still fully functional though!

I cant accept the terms and conditions, there isnt a button anywhere. Only got it so the fonts app would work but i cant use it so theres no point having it.

It is very quick and it walks you through terminology. Make sure you turn d iui wn the volume because ads can be loud.

Absolutely horrendous ads experience. I keep getting ad after ad, can't even read the info or explore the app. Uninstalled in 3 minutes.

The info tab specifically the terminology was fantastic. I wish that would have been up on the website somewhere cuz it would have saved me all kinds of trouble. I like the app but that was really good information thank you.

I'm going to put 3-stars here for now but I'm willing to change that pending info I receive from the author. I just installed this app from a link in another of the author's app called BuildPropEditor that I learned about via an XDA article explaining how to increate the my phone's volume steps. I have an Essential PH-1 updated to the latest Pie build (Aug 2019) When I load Root Check, it identifies my phone as an Essential PH-1 and says I'm running Android 9 (Oreo). My question is, why does it say Oreo when I'm actually running Pie? This makes me question the validity of the rest of this application.

The ads, WOW. This is a solid app, but the adds are out of control. Fullscreen, unskippable video ads with very difficult to press close buttons open literally every time you change a menu. Looks like it's worth the .99c to just buy it outright, but I can't support anyone using ads this aggressively.

[Edit] Unfortunately, the app is now ridden with heavily obtrusive ads: Fullscreen ad in every tap of a tab. I could've let it pass if it only had ad cards in-between or at the end of the page, but… Disappointing… The following still holds true for its non-ad portion though. [Original] Straight to the point, well-polished, and very informative! This root-check app deserves more attention and needs to get up Google Play search results. Best root-check app among root-checking apps I've tried.
