It worked pretty well until I had a system update and then the weather report was stuck on 4 days ago. I don't blame the app, my phone has been quirky ever since that update. The calibration the app uses to differentiate between ambient room temp vs phone temp isn't perfect but it's only off by a degree or so when the phone is being heavily used. If you check the temp after the phone has been idle for a while, 20 minutes or so, it's perfectly accurate.

Good but insecure...if you use it as a temperature logger, the app holds your password - in plain unencrypted text that anyone could see! *Reply* I accept that...but it's very visible and could be easily seen by someone looking over my shoulder...now I know it's there I can be more careful but the first time was quite a shock...

I actually like this app. Like other users have said, your own cell might have different outcomes than what is supposed to be. However with a little tinkering with the settings, I found that the app works great with my cell and settings and results are as accurate as web weather on Google and also with another app on the Weather Network. I mainly need this due to growing indoor plants and sensitive temperatures will affect my food plants. So all in all, I give 4/5. Thanks for free app....Todd π

Installed this app because we fitted new thermostatic radiator valves and wanted to ensure the temperature were correct to settings. Find the temperature fairly accurate. Also, found the best results if the phone is placed on a flat table, bedside cabinet, chest of draws, coffee table. Also,do not attempt to do a reading immediately after previous reading. I found that temperature was incorrect even after reset. Need to leave for about 15 minutes to get an accurate reading.

Works as intended. If you're aware of how phones heat up, this works fine. threw it on a spare phone and used this to double check a thermostats I wasn't trusting. I was right, it wasn't working accurately. says 17 on the stat, but the app showed 20. whew. Advertising is a touch aggressive, but I get the model.

One of the MOST frustrating ad using apps I've come across. These guys use timers that don't allow you to close the ads until it hits a certain time. This has to be illegal or at least morally wrong to lock the ad like that. Good thing the primary function of the app - telling you temperature - sucks. They should not call it ROOM Temperature; they should call it PHONE Temperature.

Helpful, easy to use, just not sure how to measure how accurate it is. Ads not intrusive, good balance there Since writing the above, I don't believe it to be accurate. I measured a heated room then went into a much colder room and it give a measurement of higher than the heated room!! I waited a few minutes for it to calibrate. Unless I'm missing something here, am not likely to continue using.

Absolute waste of time. Reading is ridiculosly inaccurate. What the app does is to use your location to get the temperature of your area and make some calculation with the figurΓ«, either adding or subtracting depending on the season of the year. But still gets it all wrong. Try putting it in your fridge to get the temperature and you will find out how ridiculous it is.

Love being able to see the room temperature with my phone. Very easy to use.

Easy to use and understand. Seems to be accurate.

The idea is nice, but it doesn't work very fast. The phone is also warm, because it's being used. To get an accurate view with the app, you have to wait 10-15 minutes without using your phone. So, if you have some patience, it works. If not, maybe buy a analogue temperature meter or special digital temperature meter device.

Seems to give reasonably consistent readings when the device is allowed to sit unused for about 10 minutes before taking reading, as stated in the instructions for using the app. Gives consistent readings across multiple devices when used this way. Switches easily between Fahrenheit, Celcius, and Kelvin. Offers a Dark Mode, which I appreciate. I haven't tried the additional logging features yet. The weather forecast portion seems to be in line with other weather data for my area.

We argue about the temperature on our gages. This is a great app. Love the air quality info, too!

Great app. Does what it says. Recording of temperatures convenient. However, the add experience is just too much. I don't have the patience to wait for the same sticking (long) add to play over and over again with no skip feature after a reasonable time. 5 seconds OK. 10 seconds maybe. 30 seconds...too long. Reduction in stars based on adds. Otherwise would get a 5.

I've only had the app maybe 5 hours; but it's temp seems to be fairly accurate. It's 1Β° off from my air conditioner. So I'm very satisfied. It does make a difference if you're using your phone. I quit using my phone for 10 minutes, as suggested. It dropped 3Β°, which was in line it's the local weather. - Edit: The dew point is 10.1Β° off from my local weather, and the humidity is 15% off. These things don't really matter to me, but it may matter to someone else. I only need it for the temp.

Incredible app! I've been searching for an app like this for a long time! It's pretty accurate on room temperature, about 2 degrees off but that might be because my phone is running a little warm. The outside temp right now is 102 degrees; this app says it's 104 degrees outside. I can't complain! It's the nearest and best of the best. 5 star app! Now if I can only get rid of that huge add right in center of the beautiful display!

Seems the developers paid attention. There are not a lot of adds. A good balance I would say. Good job listening to your users. The app seems to work fairly well too. !)ETA 2/10/25 DOESN'T WORK ANYMORE. Every room is 69.5 whether they have been heated or not, this includes a deep freezer. The Feezer is really my litmus test at this point.

I think it needs to react and update the temp faster. Yes, I know I can do a manual refresh, but to me, it seems sluggish. For example, I went outside in the cold, and it took forever to start inching down to the cold temp it was outside, and when I we t back inside, same thing, slow to inch back up. Fix the sluggishness amd I can give it 5 stars. Other than that, it seems ok so far.

Absolutely great. I would have rated it 5 stars if it were not for the annoying long list of potential problems, how to calibrate, etc. that displays on the screen. You cannot see the room temp, and this list has no CLOSE (X) button in the upper right corner. I have to click GO BACK (<--) on my Android cell to see the room temp. (A real pain!) Otherwise, a really good app!
