It's a gorgeous game with excellent and fluid gameplay. It's easy to pick up and play, yet deep enough that I don't get bored. It's a perfectly flawless game. I give it 5 of 5 on it's graphics, art design and most importantly of all, you're absolutely magnificent sounding design. I would like to see some blood and Maybe the ability to sever a limb? I would like a create a character feature. So, I can change the character's gender and skin color and a PVP mode would be awesome.

Game is fun and very difficult. Solid mechanics, nice art style, sound effects and no forced ads. The only problem is the inconsistent difficulty. Certain perks seem to dictate how the enemies react. For example, the resurrection perk made the enemies extra aggressive, deal more damage and you also take more damage. Also, the parrying timing is inconsistent at times. With that being said, it's beatable without making any purchases. Timing is key. Don't pick the resurrection perk, trust me.

This game is hard. Flawless victories require precise timing that is eminently more achievable on a modern controller than what you can coax out of a touchscreen. Sure, there are drops, items, crafting, blah blah blah, but all of that doesn't matter, if you're dedicated to splitting-a-hair-lengthwise with your sword style of mastery. It's the same type of difficult yet satisfying that the old PS1 title BUSHIDO BLADE had: not a button masher, but a slow creep forward, where a single cut can win.

Absolutely terrific! Beautiful visuals and sounds, and the gameplay is fluid, fun, and challenging. The goal is to get better with practice and advancement, and in one day I went from feeling it out to being able to instantly parry and feel like master swordsman. It's great that this can be played in spurts. One constructive criticism: if facing three on one and all enemies aggressively attack, there isn't much recourse and a lot of chaos. Some way to create breathing room would help :-)

Its overall a really good game, great art style and fun to to play. It's a very innovative game that demands quick thinking and analysis. Why I would take away points is because the controls, while simple and easy to understand, are hard to get used to at first, especially when you need to perform counter flash, the other reason is because of the dialogue, the characters sort of sound distorted like they're talking through a low quality mic. Other than that I couldnt find anything wrong.

The artwork is beautiful, and it is very engaging for awhile. The game then goes from challenging to nearly impossible. I've hit a brick wall, cannot advance in adventure no matter how many times I upgrade. So it has basically been log in, set raid, log off. Even upgrading a single piece of equipment takes an absurd amount of material. Arena has been locked for quite awhile and the "Twisted Battlefield" is gone, so there is very little to do. Probably going to uninstall it pretty soon.

It's a fun game. The only things I dislike about it though is the noises some of the pets make. I enjoy the gameplay and the sound of the swords clashing, but when your pet (specifically the panda) starts making noises, it makes me want to leave the game. And it wouldnt be so bad if it didn't do it every five seconds either. A quick fix would be to add a mute pet option. And counter striking isnt consistent. You can time it perfect and it won't activate 5/10 times. Maybe add a button for that?

I really wish I could enjoy this game. It's well designed for a touch screen input. The problem is the game gets exponentially harder while your character's growth slows exponentially, so it becomes profoundly frustrating once you beat the first few levels. It's clear the designers did this to induce you to spend money on the game, which I'd be happy to do since it's generally fun, but the upgrade system is so chaotic and unpredictable, upgrading feels more like playing the slots. Disappointed.

Hard, but you dont feel the grind. A quick game in (10 minutes max), and you can get out. From the music, the graphics, the sound, you feel as if you are in Japan slicing folks up. Is it hard? Yes. Are you going to enjoy the difficulty? Yes. This is not some buttons masher and you win; you have to really plan your attack out and strike accordingly. They even give you a practice mode if your stuggling, so you can practice on the different enemies. You can't ask for more. Keep it up Devs!

The gameplay, controls, and artistic design are excellent. The only thing missing is a good story. The in-app purchases can be pricey, but you can have a lot of fun without them. After having played now for about a month and reached the 5th out of 8 stages, I say the crafting/random drop system needs an overhaul, not rewarding enough. Despite its flaws, Ronin is worth a shot just to experience the gameplay and artistic style, it's top notch 👌

Love love love this game. Has samurais and sword fighting, cool combos the only problem I've had in this game was the control stick...please!!!! Fix it!! Its tracking isn't that great. It gets stuck sometimes while I'm trying to block and move but I totally lose it and I'm left open for attacks at the wrong time. Besides the wonky joystick. This game incorporates my kind of fun. I would r8 5☆ if it wasn't because of the joystick failing me.

Fix the blocking and the autofocusing. Blocking: I've noticed that a lot of the times when I press the block button it doesn't actually trigger and I end up taking damage because I stay in the neutral stance. Autofocusing: This element needs some retweaking. There are numerous times where I'm locked onto one enemy but multiple others pile on from various other directions and chunk my health. I'd highly recommend adding more settings to configure controls.

The game moves along too slow. The gameplay and combat is fast paced, but if feels like you have to go against bosses that are too strong for you over and over until you get enough xp and loot to have better gear. I understand that it keeps the audience playing for longer, but it is extremely discouraging. I like the inspiration from Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, but in that game when you get stuck on a boss, usually, there is a method of combat or an item you can use to your advantage.

Beautiful graphics and fun combat but the biggest issue is difficulty, as I haven't been able to progress past stage 10 which is the first boss. I understand the grinding souls like progression but on a mobile game, when you have limited energy to play plus hard enemies and limited progress unless you spend money makes it hard to like the game.

A tidy little Sekiro clone that plays excellently on mobile. While I would like to see more weapon options in the future, the biggest change I would like would be the addition of a long-press, heavy attack option; I miss the thrust option Sekiro provides, but it is lacking here. Furthermore, difficulty progression is exponential, while your ability to level appropriately is logarithmic... A recipe for pay to win.

Honestly love the gameplay and beautiful art style. Energy system and play limits are an automatic -2 stars. Beyond terrible abysmal drop rate -1 more. Progress has almost died completely. After all the hours it took just to get 2 pieces of blue/rare gear, the thought of the time it would take getting just to epic alone does not appeal to me. The talents are almost insignificantly minor upgrades, they get you nowhere, it's all gear. I have no motivation to continue when I'm not progressing.

the game offers a whole bunch of options to choose from. But out of all the amazing things that this game offers, there is one thing that is very triggering. You have a couple options to choose from when upgrading weapons, including: "forging", "awakening" and "fusion". When using "fusion", you select five random weapons of the same level and "fuse" then to make a higher level weapon. Sometimes it doesn't work and you waste materials for nothing. This seems like a unnecessary for the game.

There are a dime a dozen games that follow the grind and level up model but this is definitely one of the best to do it. For starters the graphics are captivating and combined with the music and sfx makes you feel like you're in the time period. The controls are basic and not hard to master. I like how it puts the player in a position to judge how and when to attack. Overall, it's a great game that I can see myself getting lost in.

Pretty cool so far, except I don't like being unable to choose which direction to attack. Just goes for who ever is closer. So with multiple enemy's its kind of weird since you get light and heavy attacked at the same time. Maybe an evade or roll away be nice. The controls are one or the other. You cant hold guard, press attack, and it go back in guard. Timing is VERY off on the counters, I try single pressing just as it turns red and I get hit. Button mashing was working better :/

An original mix of skill and turn based combat. It's nice to see devs that don't want to keep regurgitating the same things over and over. The combat is a little tricky at first but rewarding when you finally get the timing down. The change of timing with different soldier types keeps you on your toes. I HIGHLY recommend if you enjoy a challenge 👺👹😁
