Never reviewed an app before, but I will for this app. And it doesn't cost anything!! Got this when I moved to Europe for a few years traveling from Australia. And this app is the best thing I could have got. It will seriously get you anywhere. Given myself and groups ways on buses/trams and underground we didn't even know we're there. Any capital city it will help you map out the underground as well and tell you where to go, same as buses to and from the airport. Must have for traveling.

I rarely rate apps, but this app has been invaluable to me. I've traveled the world to places where I haven't had much access to information on how to get around, but this app has surprised me with it's accuracy. I use it anytime I go anywhere now as it always manages to find all the possible routes I could take and the cheapest. I'd recommend downloading it and trying it in your local area that you know to see how it finds all the right routes, it might even find one you didn't know about.

I've used this app to help plan my travels in Uruguay & Brazil. Nearly every journey has been wrong, either buses that don't exist, always incorrect durations (add an hour or two if you are planning connecting buses). I have found so many better options when I have gone to the bus terminals, with direct routes, destinations and alternative bus companies not shown on the app. The app does however, give you a good indication of routes that are available.

A wonderful app! After getting bamboozled by disconnected train schedules and prices for a trip across Europe (and nearly giving up to hand it all over to a travel agent) I found Rome2Rio. The big advantage is it enables you to find the best connections between destinations, whether by plane, train or bus. If you are planning any kind of non-standard travel i.e.not just a city to city hopover, YOU NEED THIS APP. (I have seen the negative reviews. but have had no such problems)

Love this app, never had any problems and the details for onward travel have been amazing. It's taken me all over the world, using it locally in the UK, bus rides through Asia and Australia and have train plans next month in Europe. Features include walking directions between stations etc, approx price of fares, can filter the dates and times required and can link to buying tickets (although never used this option so can't comment.) Have recommended to many travellers along my journeys.

What happened to the great app this used to be?? Sadly my old phone died and along with it some of my favourite apps such as Rome2Rio. When I installed this on my new phone it does nothing like the old version did, such as planning a complete trip, adding several destinations along the way. Now all I can do is go from one place to one other place, one step at a time. I can get that info anywhere, so I will not be bothering to use this anymore :((

This App is one of the most useful apps for traveling. It is easy to find out the easiest and cheapest way to from one point to another one. I also love that the team response to a lot of reviews to improve the app. My suggestion is that the user can input some informations. Usually the routes are 100% correct but the price and the schedules are a bit different. So it would be nice if the user can share his price experiences so that everyone else could see the right price for the next time.

Route information given by app doesn't give the optimum route possible. On one test, the most efficient and direct route wasn't even one of the options available. The problem is that the app may actually be trying to be too precise, rather than look at a general location in the area, that general location would have probably resulted in the optimum route, but because it was too precise, a less optimum route was shown. I don't think I would rely on this app to actually get to a destination.

I've had this app on my phone for years. As someone who gets massive anxiety about travelling anywhere new, its my go to app. We travelled to Chicago for the first time, it identified the nearest station, timetable, price and we took the subway direct to the airport for a total of $12! No criticism but if it could be tweaked to highlight elevators and escalators as the station as it suggested a stop that didn't have 1 and we had luggage. Luckily the attendant suggested an alternative. Thank you

Finally what I wanted, just "what bus routes exist". No having to put in a date for the trip, it wasn't a non functional app (looking at you "Vision Route Planner"), just a simple, easy to use interface which gave me the exact info I needed to get my buddy home, thank you all. Maybe these will help the algorithm for y'all? Bus trip planner public transportation mass transit train Just updating

Completely useless. What's the point of having an app that ends up opening a browser for ticket booking and on top of that finds nothing (flights otherwise available even on Priceline)... And in other cases this dumb app directed me to tiny local/rural airports for international flights (that naturally don't even operate there) Not sure what this app is even for besides highly inaccurate and non-existent "information"

Premature launch. Testing. Entered a destination ~30mins away. R2Rio takes me 1hr south, then U-turns, goes 1.5 hrs north. 2.5 hrs for a 30min trip! If I was a dumb tourist I might think it was the only way. I tried another destination, same thing. Does it only use freeways? You need a 👍🏽👎🏽 for feedback, to suggest best route. +can't clear searches. I was popping in random locations to test out app. Per R2Rio FAQ, click on 3dots, on X? Nope, neither exist. This app isn't ready for launch.

Making Travel With Autism Possible - Not having traveled much in 3 decades, and finding a post 9/11 travel world to be openly hostile to those with different needs, this app has been a lifesaver. It reduces 90% of the stressful decision-making and research of how to get from point A to B by first sorting out most people's main concern - economy. Once the user chooses the method of travel, the details of each journey element can be accessed in deeper layers of detail. So grateful for this app!

Absolutely cool tool for travellers unfamiliar with where they are as long as you have connection! Directs you to your destination with multiple travel options. The one annoying thing, especially when you don't remember what you need to type for your destination by heart, is that it doesn't keep the current destination in the entry block so you can just modify it...better put the address into a note and cut and paste into this app. Love the app otherwise though!

Love all the options it is able to come up with. It isn't perfect, but it is right most of the time. I love using it in conjunction with a few other apps. This one is great at narrowing down the big details. If a train route is not practical, then that is a whole path I don't have to research. However, when I know trains will work, some other apps are better at pointing me to discounted rates. Overall I still love this one.

I use the website often to plan trips in advance. When I saw that app was available, I thought oh cool. But sadly it's nothing but problems. When I try and search, I get an error stating that "there was an error finding routes, check your internet connection and try again." Of course, I can access it just fine with a browser from my phone. So it seems like a good idea, but doesn't work for me.

I don't drive, so planning my trips is a regular part of life. Rome2rio provides maps & optional methods of transportation (bus, drive, taxi, walk, etc) along with the estimated costs of those methods. Rome2rio has saved me a great deal of time by not having to go to multiple apps to gather the info I need, to ensure an accurate, well informed trip.

The most reliable, accurate and easy to use travel companion! It helps figure out each and every step in my travels, from my own doorstep to any destination, worldwide - with PLENTY of options so I can find the easiest, fastest and most comfortable routes. Plus all the pricing info, links to websites for booking and extra info so I can see immediately which option is the fastest, cheapest etc (thus not wasting time with lengthy research). Thanks!

Rome2Rio is probably my favorite travel app, because it allows me to plan an itinerary anywhere in the world and see how far a desired location is from where I plan to stay. It may not always suggest the fastest route, but you know you can reach your destination--whether you go by car, taxi, or public transportation. If you take public transportation, it's a good idea to double-check the local site that Rome2Rio links to, because changes can occur, but it's an invaluable resource!
