I want to love the new tower mode but ultimately I find it very disappointing. It has potential, but falls apart due to the current curse mechanic which has never been fun and has zero counterplay for the majority of classes. No matter what you do, most classes just get hp permanently melted away and there's nothing to be done about it. Makes it not fun.

Please fix the bug thats causing it to crash. Its really annoying when im in the middle of a battle and it just crashes. Its not even every once in awhile but all the time!. Pleease fix the crashing. If you read this thank you for your time.

A super fun game! If you love card battlers and a fair amount of RNG, this is the game for you. Edited to 4 stars: while I enjoyed the game a fair bit, you come to a point with class progression where the game forces you to play other game modes (Hell, Void) in order to unlock class abilities. I enjoyed the Classic mode but found the additional game modes too punishing and not fun, and since I was no longer able to unlock stuff in the Classic game mode that I liked, I have stopped playing.

There WAS a bug that caused the game to crash at a specific point with a specific enemy. Edit** they fixed the issue and I love that they listened and worked to fix the issue as promptly as possible, changed my rating from 1 to 5 stars because they showed they care about their game and about their community. Looking forward to future updates and classes. Definitely recommend the game! if you like roguelike card battler games this game is a must.

This is a great rouge like deck builder that never gets boring. But I'm worried about where the game is going. Rogue Adventure hooked me several years ago because it was quick to learn, difficult to master, and could be played whenever I had a few minutes. While this game is still amazing for the most part, the newest hero and game mode are very time consuming to learn. I don't have the free time to play for hours at a time to learn a new game mode. Still, I absolutely recommend the game.

This game is quite impressive: it's free, haven't yet run into any bugs, all ads are minimal and optional, and just overall very entertaining. I think really the only reason for me to not give it 5 stars is a lack of any soundtrack, if it had even a somewhat decent music while gaming this would easily be 5 stars. Very reminiscent of slay the spire.

Most apps on my phone are downloaded and deleted within a few weeks; Rogue Adventure has stayed on my phone(s) for the better part of three years. Fun and balanced; easy to learn and difficult to master. This is my absolute favorite! Edit 2/1/24: Still on my phone! The dev trickles in new features and functions, so there's consistently something new to do. Still my favorite!

First: I love this game. It has the right balance of complexity and intuitive choices. The encounters vary enough to keep the game fresh, and it provides feelings of accomplishment when you pull out a longshot victory. HOWEVER...today I am suddenly getting countless ads. I've been playing the game for over a year, with no ads, now I'm drowning in them.

Literally the best game I've ever played on mobile. I've kept it for maybe 5 years? Idk, a long time. Extremely simple, immediately complex enough to keep you building, completely possible to beat every difficulty without watching an ad, everything unlocks by playing, cool aesthetic. 100% get it if you've ever played a card game like this. Like 20 classes, each with multiple unlocks to dramatically change play, constant bosses with unique 'if u poison me I turn it into block' mechanics. So good

A really enjoyable draft style card game. Real glad i could pay to remove ads it was well worth it. I'm over 10 hours in and it's getting more complicated and more fun each playthrough. Edit: 4/1/2024 I completed all the content and quit playing for some time. I redownloaded on a whim and wow I had forgotten how fun this is. Tons of new content too. I've played a lot of card games over the years and this continues to be one of my favorites. Better than slay the spire imo which I was playingb4

UPDATE: I somehow had ads come up with the paid version of the game for about two hours and have not had any since. The company reached out to me about my concerns promptly and respectfully & it has not happened since. The game is really fun & the variety of playable classes makes it even better. The only downfall is that I would love to see a wider variety of cards to build combos with. Can't wait for more cards/content!

All game, NO ADS, unless you want side bonuses which aren't necessary at all. I LOVE this game and can't put it down which might be cutting into my actual work time, lol. Love how simple and complex at the same time it can be. Very fun and feels rewarding after unlocking classes and evolving cards! Much fun, much addiction!

I don't know why this is being called a "roguelike RPG" when it's neither a rogue like nor an RPG. It is, however, a damn good deckbuilding game. Multiple classes and unlockable special abilities make for a ton of variety in how the game is played. And a one-time purchase gives you everything without ever having to see another ad. It was definitely worth the price.

This game is awesome, it's a great way to pass the time and it's addicting once you get going. Trying not to sound like a paid ad because I don't leave reviews often but yeah there's a lot to do, tons of content and since I downloaded it a few months back they added an Endless mode and a bunch of new cards and everything. Definitely would recommend giving this one a try, one of the only apps I refuse to delete when my phone's storage becomes an issue lol

I love this game, as some one who enjoys rogue-like games, this one hits a special spot and feels like you can play for hours. It has so many builds and class choices (with sub class perks for even greater replay value). The game modes feel rewarding and give much needed replay and challenge. The only thing I'm hopping for is more cards and variety for the elf cards, as I feel there is not much incentive to play them as other races feel better(especially the beast man race/robot).

Got this game off of the game pass, took me a couple playthroughs to get a good feel for the game, but it's super replayable, can make so many different decks too! So it isn't stale! Plus all of the classes have their own unique abilities! I gotta say, Berserker is a TON of fun, and you can absolutely steamroll through enemies when paired with resistance and strength buffs. Just be at 50% health, and watch the enemies drop!!

It took me a while to understand the beauty of this game. It's very old school, in that once you die, you have to start all the way over. But slowly, you level up, unlock new classes, and begin to form your strategy. The Paladin class is starting to be my favorite. Your forced to think outside of the box by (demage, shield, ect...) being done with percentages instead of numbers. But every class is different. If your into old school strategy card games, this is perfect, in my opinion.

I had finished another card based roguelike(ish) game and was really feeling the lack of a similar experience. This is more than hitting the spot, lots of strategy, self-paced, never feels impossible never feels easy, tons of modes, minimal ad gates (and I already paid to get rid of them). Highly recommended!

There's a lot I could talk about, but it's all covered very thoroughly by other reviews. That said, I would like to talk about the update cycle for a second. The frequency of updates is amazing, because while some updates can be upsetting (like ones that alter popular/helpful skills or classes), others are fantastic and make for entire new strategies. Not to mention that the manner you unlock new classes in forces you to try a bit of various different strategies and mechanics. Character limit.

$15 for the removal of ads is rather expensive, but the extra rewards are nice and I've made the purchase with the intent to support the game. However, double exp is a mechanic that is also reliant on ads yet it is a separate purchase that costs another $5. This is quite predatory and I am disappointed. Despite that, this is a great game.
