Easy to pick up and play, difficult to master. It's a 2d rocket league that actually turned out funner than I imagined. Yes, the game's mechanics have been altered and mostly simplified, but it makes for quick paced games with some very interesting interactions. You can take out your phone and pair with a friend easily which is the best part imo. There are no in-game ads (thankfully) and you can login to your account if you had a rocket league one. Hoping to see more maps/game modes soon!

Seriously just a great concept and easily one of the best games (period) out there rn. No micro transactions or ads which is a breath of fresh air when it comes to the world of gaming these days. Seeing a lot of negative reviews about lag and there is moments where it can be frustrating, but I wouldn't trade the connection issues for a game that ran perfectly at the cost of authenticity. I think anyone could pick this up and have a blast playing even with no rl experience.

Bugs can be fixed, so focusing on gameplay. Hoops is amazing and by far my favorite mode. It's fairly balanced and as there are few means to easily 1 shot. Doubles is ok, and some games can be great when the teams are on par. Duels... It's terrible. It was somewhat enjoyable at first, but it's just a constant one shot fest and takes forever because of that. I'd suggest making the arena smaller, the goal higher, and also a smaller gap. Maybe even allow a small gap of car movement pre-drop.

The game is really awesome with all the similarities of the main game. But one thing that takes away from the mobile from being a top tier game is the network/internet hitch issues. From switching to data and WiFi, the game still has issues with lag. The ball teleports and players as well, tried lowering graphics but seems like it didn't work.

It's a really great game. Definitely catches the feel of the original Rocket League well considering it's a mobile game. My only issue is that whenever I try to log into my Epic Games account, it never lets me. It just loads for a second and then gives me a 'Cancel Log In' button. It refuses to let me in, so I currently can't play online which is sad. But aside from that, the feel of the game itself is awesome. I just hope you fix the login issues!

This is a great mobile experience; from the gameplay, to the UI, and even the battle pass system. However, there are a few bugs and issues that need to be addressed. When flipping up, sometimes your flip doesn't register (even with good connection), and another is lack of a proper ranking system. I'm currently Gold V and getting teammates you would expect in Silver I or II or GC level players. It's very unbalanced. Otherwise, no complaints. Stunning graphics, great mechanics. 8.5/10

It's a great game: it's fun and has many customizable options. I'm not aware of other players are having this issue, but more than often I have to log back into my epic games account to be able to play. It isn't the biggest issue l, but it would be nice for It to get patched. Definitely still a playable and entertaining game. Would even say it's easier than regular rocket league.

I LOVE THIS GAME! If you've played the console version of Rocket League, your experience will help greatly help translate to this game. I've found myself getting just as hyped scoring goals and defended goals as in the console game. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. It was a little tricky to get used to but it so much fun that it's worth learning how to play. New players might have a hard time mastering controls but jumping in and learning an exciting new game is fun and easy!

I love this game because no ads, no micro transactions, and competitive online play. This pick up and play game is simple enough for anyone to try but can take lots of skill to get into the upper ranks just like the console version. Game experiences lag once in a while but it's so rare that I'm not taking a star off for that. It also offers lots to collect to make your car stand apart including chromatics if you collect a whole set of painted items. Definitely worth a download if interested.

This is my favorite game for free time. As a Rocket League player, it's so exciting having a mini or portable version you can play whenever. Performance is great as well, rarely any lag. Since the game is new, I won't hold this against them, but it would be best to have more variety of items. So far, getting a gold drop feels equal to a "pro" drop. Excellent game nonetheless.

I was playing on a Pixel 4XL and had no crashes whatsoever. Just upgraded to a Pixel 6 Pro and cannot even get into settings before the game closes. I love the game, everything about it, really. I understand there's always going to be bugs and unforeseen errors/glitches especially since this game just came out and is gaining a lot of popularity in such a short amount of time. Just wanted you guys to be aware of my current issue. The game is so addicting I keep randomly opening it up in hopes :)

Surprisingly polished, possibly the highest quality mobile game I've played. I don't know how they could've done a better job of capturing the competition and skill ceiling of Rocket League in a 2d mobile adaptation. It's also fun to be able to do crazy things in the air that you might not be able to do in regular RL. It's easy to pick up and doesn't take long to see improvement which is very satisfying. I suggest looking up the controls and mechanics FAQ on the RLSideSwipe subreddit. It works smoothly on my LG G7 (about a 3 year old phone). Occasional server latency problems that cause the cars/ball to jump around. Doesn't happen often enough to frustrate me though.

This game exceeded my expectations. It doesn't take long to understand how to pick up and play the game and coming in with experience playing rocket league it made it much easier to understand the mechanics. Although the way you start rotating left or right by double tapping the joystick feels a little weird. I also feel like the tutorial should show examples of flip resets, air dribbles, ceiling shots just to encourage people to go in the air more. New people won't know these are even possible.

This is a great game. I have had no issues with it whatsoever. I have read so many of the bad reviews and have had none of their issues. I experience no lagging (even with no wifi) or trouble with the on screen controls. Very fun and challenging. Honestly no clue why people are so critical of this game. Also, no ads is pretty amazing. Hats of to the developers for sticking to no ads. That's an absolute game changer for me.

** UPDATE ** Time has passed since my original review. Star change from 2 to 4. The game works much better now, updates got rid of crashing issues, yet occasionally will have to reinstall - boot issues. The game is an absolute blast to play. It also is one of the most broken, crash-ready apps I've ever seen. I have a Google Pixel 6, and it is entirely random when the game will crash. It's really disappointing, because I'm trying to get challenges done, but the game simply won't let me.

Really great game, its a good way to kill time and it's actually really simple. The graphics are good, the controls are good, and the game has many different customization options. My problems however are that the game has limited gameplay options, it only has all 3 classic modes (1v1, 2v2, 3v3) and a heatseeker mode thats kinda boring. The game is dead too since matchmaking takes longer than 20 seconds. It's a good introduction to the rocket league games but just stick to the actual version.

I enjoy most of this game, and have found it most addictive and fun. Zero ads play between rounds, and the only way to get coins or points is to play. There is one issue, which is why I rate it four stars. Lag: the game killer. For example, I take a shot and land a goal, but then lag kicks in, making the shot irrelevant, sending the ball and my opponent jittering around the stadium. I am unsure if this is repairable, but if it is, that would be nice of your studio to do. Much obliged, Valuur A.

For the most part it is a great game. Controls are easy enough to figure out, good graphics, game play, and almost no ads! Only real criticism is that since the last update there is constant connection issues, suddenly getting kicked from a match due to "Connection lost, Retrying". I've checked, this is rarely due to my internet or device. If that doesn't happen there is often times issues with lag, suddenly car or ball jump from one end to the other. Very frustrating, this game was fun

Very well-done mini of the original. Easy to pick up with lots of depth. Plenty of people play it, so match queues at all times are quite quick (in NA, anyway). Music is great, matches are a perfect length, and cosmetics are plentiful so you don't feel boring without spending money. If you like the original at all or are interested, give it a try. It's a lot of fun!

I love how they made rocket lueage mobile. And it has been designed really well with all of its mechanics. The graphics are really good too but, it drains your battery fast. Yet it's so fun and entertaining. The amount of items that are in the games, the game modes, and the way of earning currency is all amazing. Overall a great game for when you are bored.
