More About Robot Colony 2

Robot Colony 2 is an RTS about managing a colony of robots and protecting it from giant insects. Strategic selection of the right type of robots to produce is needed for the colony's success.
The robots are autonomous and behave like ants. They search for food and resources and bring them to the base.

The game is offline and has low system requirements.

Here are some improvements compared to the first part of the game:

- the ability to control robots manually

- 90 new levels to explore

- new types of insects with unique behavior

- ability to select the place for new turrets and robot factories

- dozens of new buildings and power-ups

You pay $3 to remove ads and unlock the x2 and x3 game time multiplier. The x2 and x3 multiplier are necessary to play the game at a reasonable pace, yet the $3 doesn't add any actual content to the game. Otherwise, great game. A definite improvement from Robot Colony 1

It's alright, but if you want the scout building, you could end up completing almost every other level in the game before you find it, because you can't tell where each level is, making the "found at level _" useless.

Great game, loving all the quality of life features. I mean WHO thinks of these? Auto set WHICH SIDE THE SCREEN TILTS TO. Seriously. I challenge anyone here to find another mainstream gane with that level of nuance. It's just all the tiny things culminating to make a wonderful experience. My one "complaint" is a spelling error in the menu stating "tap 22 times to control your robot manually"

The idea is good but execution is terrible. Every level only has 8 waves and they're all easy, even on hard, so it's very repetitive. The controls are stupid and not indicative of an RTS. The only paid option is about $3 and all it does is allow you to speed up the game. On the level map screen, each level is placed randomly so you have to look around to find the next level which makes no sense. Overall, not good.

Has potential. Am I dumb or is selecting buildings in this game hard. You have to scroll it seems. I can select but all it does is show the name, not options to spawn, upgrade, or delete. There could be more features, but I think some quality of life stuff is more needed.

From lvl 1 to lvl 90 map, it the same map with a little more difficulty the further u go, there always 8 wave, and scouts was a big thing in the game, but u need to manual scout the same map for 86 lvl before u have a scout factory. They made u work for it, and game is slow af, and u can buy a permanent x3 speed, otherwise same repetitive map 3 time slower. You can unlock perk and building for each lvl u beat, but u can only build 1 of them per wave, so only at wave 8 can u build 8 building.

Feels really good to play. You don't notice adds, since they are placed after you finish a level, and a level can fill in TONS of your downtime, so you the adds aren't even an issue. It's engaging enough it's interesting, but automatic enough that you don't have to do everything yourself. Good game 👌

The game is very fun, it has missions, rewards, and sandbox. There are some stuff that are confusing, like the plant factory and other more. I was thinking that you guys should add a tutorial for new players. Also, why not add weekly challenges, I think it would also make stuff fun.

Game is good. I think units should be more of the focus rather than turrets especially since the units are the main characters which means more units than turrets, units are more reliable than turrets and turrets are there for support (cough look at logo). Overall, great game. Simple for me, and it is quite fun. Feels a bit too easy though.

Decent. Pros: No forced ads! Simple gameplay Cons: Could use some variety to maps and maybe some different scenarios with different winning conditions. Gets a bit stale after some time.

The game is pretty great thought it is kinda abit empty. Maybe adding destroyed bases and some structures the players can find. Some animations to the robots would be nice to like the Miners drilling or the defenders mandibles biting while attacking an enemy or even the tires moving. More robot types would be cool like a shield or ranged type. But overall the game is great

Nice graphics, straightforward controls, no gameplay. There is no reason to build any robots and gather resources - on medium you can just wait for the first wave of bugs and put the turret; then 2nd turret on 2nd wave so on. Only thing you should do is wait 3min for the bugs to come and place a turret close to the station. Then wait for another 3min. Thrilling!

Love it. Wish there were more games like it and I hope this isn't an abandoned game and gets more updates. Only thing why I wouldn't give it 5 stars is building are non collidable. Maybe it would be cool to have walls and for robots to have path finding.😊

Needs work and the many levels are well not that many (it's the same level with tiny enemy stats difference). Controls need a lot of work or complete overhaul. Some of the elements of the UI do not make any sense. The fog of war is all white but can't be all revealed. The level selection screen is a mess. I wanted to give more stars but I'll keep them for a better future version. I got so bored that I felt it could be 'funnier' to play the levels idling in easy and then on hard to check the upgr

This game is too easy; even on hard mode you can just place turrets, harvest insect corpses near the base, and then spam defenders before the final wave. There's no variety between the levels. You survive 8 waves every time. Is it a bad game? Well, no. Why? Because it's pitted against other mobile games, which are notoriously terrible. Otherwise, yeah, this game kinda sucks. Nothing in it really makes sense. It's almost like it wasn't play-tested whatsoever. Like, even moving units around is a chore, because the developer made it as unintuitive as possible (double clicking should select all units... RTS basics bro). And if you need to build a unit while you're trying to explore the map, it's a serious hassle trying to fight the awkward controls. This game would've been more fun if it was more like a traditional RTS rather than a pseudo tower defence. Tone down the turrets, rethink the controls and buff combat unit life length.

Great fun! The payment is small and doesn't greatly effect game play (removes ads and allows speeding up time). Gameplay is simple and progressive, with each level having easy, medium, and hard difficulties. A great game to hope in and out of or to play for a while at a time. Simple graphics, easy controls, highly recommend trying!

It seems pretty good and has a bit of depth to it, but it could use a little more. It also should really give tips or warnings of what new types of enemies there are upcoming so you at least know to be ready. If you aren't prepared and yse the wrong strategy, the fly enemies can just eat all of the food on the map after like 2 waves, making it impossible to get any energy and making you lose instantly. Felt like I had no say in winning or losing and just had to know about it ahead if time.

The game is fun and I really like its concept! I hope they add more to it. my only problem right now are that the controls are so hard to play with . I destroyed the wrong building countless time. also if a group of robots is focused on doing something they can't be selected to do something else except if you select them one by one. there's also no control groups or camera controls so I have to manually control groups of robots and drag between home and far away bots or location.

Game has potential... a few problems: 1. once you get guns, you place them close as possible to the base. This does two things: you don't have to buy many defenders after the 2nd wave and your loaders have abundant resources (dead bugs). 2. There is only one type of bug per level. Once you get through wave 2 and see what bugs there are, your only decision is whether to explore the map or not (w some bugs it's better not to expose the map). 3. Due to above, game is tedious and repetitive

Pretty good so far. Lacks plenty of features that would make it more interesting, like tech/skill trees would be awesome, and a light story could make it better, maybe you're an AI brought online by some circumstances and slowly uncover the tragedy of a now extinct humanity, but for what it is, I enjoy it. It's simple and straightforward, and at least there's no banner ads.
