Removing 1 * because I am not able to add back the course I completed. I did itbin a hurry the first time and would like to revise it to get better at it but the app would not let me do that :(. Great interface, even greater funcionality. It almost feels like you are interacting with an encouraging teacher :).

It let's you complete two practices then when you attempt to complete the next practice, it interrupts you stating you can't practice anymore for the day unless you buy the premium version. (which is $8/monthly or $100/yearly for the cheapest subscription). It seemed ok but they're definitely just trying to make money & not actually help improve your singing ability.

While I like the app itself. I have gotten 3 alerts from my phone that the app is using the microphone in the background. I do not appreciate being recorded when the app isn't open. If you have an android phone, the latest update gives an alert anytime an app accesses your microphone and/camera when the app isnt being used. So they sre listening in when you are not expecting it. Huge violation of privacy. So while I was excited that I found a good singing app, it will be deleted today.

The app keeps crashing and I am unable to use it. I am a paid user and have been using the app for some time now and enjoy it, but after updating my android the app keeps crashing when trying to use it. I reached out to the creators of the app about this issue, and have yet to receive a response or an update fixing this issue. UPDATE: They had me reach out to them via Whatsapp, the issue was resolved. The app works fine now.

This app is great. It provides good amount and quality of lessons. The major problem is: Scoring is not available without headphones. And my Bluetooth headphones crash while recording. Therefore I am unable to record and get the score. Please fix this bug. Either the app should support Bluetooth speakers without getting crashed Or allow recording without the requirement of headphones. The app should be able to use the phone's default recording system. P. S my phone doesn't have a headphone jack

Great app. Love the new feature where you can sing along with songs off YouTube. Also like the new courses update. My only complaint is that, musicmuni will often update Riyaz in a way that interferes with your established routine, or worse, they'll update the app without even fully debugging the update first. So that can be annoying. But, all-around it works. You can use this app to learn how to sing. I did. I still think they should add singing in natural, harmonic and melodic minor

I can only give this app one star due to the experience with support staff. I bought the yearly subscription and was excited to start using the premium features of the app. However, due to some technical issue, I was not able to even launch the app properly. I promptly contacted support and the developers tried to fix the issue, but it didn't work for my device. I was eventually refunded for this issue so changing rating! I enjoy the app and hope to become paid member soon!

I couldnt get very far into it due to it having me pick my own pitch. The last time I sang was a decade ago, when I was first hitting puberty, I have no idea what my pitch is. It took a lot of trial and error to sort of figure it out, and once I found a range I fit into I found the app isnt made to accommodate a smaller range. It's probably only fair to note that I'm attempting to learn to sing as a sort of vocal rehabilitation. If you've no such issues, this app could work great for you.

The timing of the music and the bars are way off. When I try to use it without my headphones it works fine, but it doesn't record me. When I use my headphones the music comes after the bar you're supposed to sing have already gone by. I have tried everything including reinstalling the app, and it still happens on every exercise. It would probably be a great app otherwise.

They never get back to you when contacted, every time there is an update ALL of my stats reset to some random numbers, there should be more content, songs, a way to track time spent daily weekly monthly and an all time... actual breathing exercises would be nice too There is a terrible delay when doing the exercises. Very difficult to hit a note when hearing the previous note because the timing is off.

Great app for learning pitch perfect. The practices have a good piano tone that helps you match it, showing your exact pitch is very underestimated by a lot of new singers. It's AMAZINGLY helpful. The free version lets you practice for 10minutes while viewing your own exact pitch, after that, you have to wait 10 minutes to see your pitch again. Not a big deal if you wanna run through a practice or 2 every half hour or so.

I want to like this app, and it has a lot of potential. It's not often you find something that can adjust its lessons and karaoke to you vocal comfort start key you you can just learn and enjoy yourself. The concept is amazing. However, I keep running into problems with the lessons not loading so I haven't been able to properly explore yet.

This app has a really cool vocal real time tracker that let's you see what note you're singing and how close it is to the actual note. Sometimes it says the wrong octave, and it doesn't have a "to the cent" mode, plus the "history" immediately disappears off the screen after a few seconds, so I wish that was better, but it is still really cool just to see what your voice or another voice is doing. I am redownloading because I am interested to use this feature again. The app also features good lessons and some helpful things to help a singer practice and become better. Love it guys, thank you

I am honestly disappointed in this app. I bought a year subscription, expecting that once I finished the basic warm up lessons there would be a lot more the app had to offer. I was wrong. It's mostly just warm ups, and there is nothing intricate or challenging to practice on. On top of that I think it is severely glitchy / bugged. I keep re-calibrating my vocal range but the practices are always out of my range and it suggests to re-calibrate again. I am so sad I paid for a whole year of this because it is useless. You would be better off buying a cheap keyboard and matching pitches that way -- because that's all this app has to offer.

It's safe to say I need practice. However, in the hour I've been playing around with this app, I feel like I've learned quite a bit. it has some good tools before going premium. I love that! The music selection is slim. It has newer songs but not many. If you're premium, you can bring a list over from YouTube. It's fairly self-explanatory as far as navigation goes, but it isn't descriptive. If someone is new to music and vocal coaching, they might have issues. Ads were few. All in all,not bad.

[Update (Aug 7, 2019): Exercises keep getting off rhythm the more I use them. Worse if I get a call or an alarm during an exercise. Is this a known problem? Thank you for the Western addition! So excited to practice every day! Can't wait for other updates.] - - - - - - - - - Incredible little app! It's obvious that you guys put a lot of thought & work into it. From the U.I. Design to the exercises, everything is clean, well-written & easy-to-use. Thanks &keep up the hard work!

It'd be great if I could have some lyrics to read as I sing along, as a hard of hearing person, I can't understand singing without subtitles to sing along with... This even seems like the best app to use after trying a few, but the lack of words to read (for ANY song) along with while watching my pitch; I just end up not singing at all because I don't know the words to even my favorite songs....

So far, like it a lot. There is a time limit for free users per day, but it does make it so they don't have to cut out many features for free users, and I like having all those features, so I'm cool with it. Gave me lots of insights into my voice, mainly that I am ALWAYS vibrato ing and when I switch notes I swoop up and then back down.

Honestly the absolute best voice training, singing etc tool next to having an actual private teacher, that you will find! (Trust me I looked) The app is extremely well made, literally starts with Vocals 101 to advanced, you can start using this regardless of your level. It's got everything you need, including a massive song library. It's definitely a diamond in the coal mine!

Thought that by buying the (expensive) yearly subscription it would at least include something that made it worth while but honestly it didn't expand the app very much at all and there isn't a voice that you can practice singing along with, it's all very rudimentary. It's also based on Indian music and techniques which I didn't realize before I bought. Love Indian music but it isn't what I'm trying to learn so for me it's not useful at all, it's a very different type or singing.
