Good when it works but it often doesn't let you extend a session- just says an error occurred and you have to call and have your physical card info to pay, which negates the whole point of an app. I got a fine as a result as that took me so long and I was too far away to return in time so I got a ticket so will never rely on that feature ever again which was the main selling point. Beware!

Very tempremental app. Bit embarrassing when the carpark attendant keeps giving the knowing eye. Whilst I disappear into a store to find decent WiFi even though the data signal was good. worked but still slow. Cleared cache restarted, reloaded app restarted. Slow but started to respond. A lot later finally got payment through.

You need a working phone number to use. Was visiting the UK and couldn't sign up for the service because you can only verify on mobile and we had data only SIM cards. Needs an email verification options. It was unusable and we had to figure out how to find change to park. Disappointing.

Twice tried to use this app - no option the first time as there was no other way to pay for parking. Verification codes took over half an hour to arrive and when they did they were not accept - needed up with a parking fine. Second time, tried to log in with new car reg and app said the reg wasn't valid and that I should reset the account tried this and again no verification codes received so unable to use the app. Utter rubbish and reprehensible way for customers to be treated.

I encountered a technical issue while attempting to pay for a ticket using the app, causing significant inconvenience and stress. A helpful local individual guided me to a machine, enabling me to successfully complete the payment. Discovered app was broken today when attempting to pay for parking. After selecting vehicle and duration, it displayed "Sorry, an error has occurred" on the "How would you like to pay?" screen. Trying to check my Payment methods under My Account gave the same error. RingGo support was very responsive last time I had an issue. Will report this one too and hope for a similar outcome.

Terrible app. Ironically does NOT save time as it's strap line suggests! If you forget your password or old number plates, try and delete your old account, and then re-register, it says you aleeady have an account. There appears to be no way to rectify this so you are left in a very frustrating loop that gets you nowhere. If you phone the number and spend ages putting in your card details, in then just cuts off so you can't tell if you have paid or not. Card pay machines would be better for all!

Parked today, I couldn't use the App so logged into my account online to pay. Deleted cache, deleted App and reinstalled it, still not working, it just hangs at the RingGo screen. Revised from 1 star to 4 stars as despite having personal information I have removed this App from my virus protection softwares App lock feature. It now seems to open ok. Perhaps the programmers can check why the App would do this.

Brilliant parking app. Staying in Lewes UK, had no choice but to pay on meter or use a app. Reading reviews, very wary of this app, HOWEVER, ignore the critics here. I used a Sampson galaxy A14, installed the app quickly, registered quickly, used it from Sat to Thursday without a hitch. You get a text when it is paid, it was easy to find the meter code and nearby options, you choose the duration and if you have registered your car reg and payment details off you go. Perfect !! TY

It was working perfectly till about May 2024 when it started charging me an extra 20p. for reminder text messages, which are off on my app and not even receiving them, which I should when I'm forced to pay for it!!! Apply for refunds on a couple of payments (as you can apparently submit one at the time, than wait for 5 minutes) and didn't hear from RinGo.

Nothing convenient about and insulting to have to pay 20p extra to use this rubbish service. (Edit:, I have changed the review score, as this is cert part council issue. . But the 20p extra to use app being described as " convince" is going to annoy any one who has to take 10min, deregister, register, adding credit, paying for parking. Rather than just paying by credit card.

Can't even register, useless. It says I'll be texted but I never receiced anything. The carparks I've tried to use this with is either cash-only machine (not many of us carry the correct/enough change these days) or pay by Ring-Go (which doesn't even work), so I can't go where I need to at times. Other parking apps work just fine, this is the only one I've had issues with myself.

Does not work - and another example of the way that backend changes often break things unless properly tested. This used to work but now it fails with the error that you need to use the latest version of the app. Duh, i am doing!!! So.....they made some change and didnt test it did they!! Ive uninstalled and suggest you avoid UPDATE - 3 july. Stopped working yet again. I had to to uninstall and reinstall for it to work

Parked somewhere where this app was required. Wasted 15 minutes trying to reset an old account, deleted it, created a new one, got a "6 digit notification code" which was a zero followed by a long string of random letters, then the app said we couldn't get any more notifications so we gave up and parked elsewhere. A complete waste of time. I'll be avoiding RingGo from now on.

Horrible app. Always laggy, makes you log in every time you open it. Recently getting halfway through booking and then giving me a blank error box that just says "info". If not that it's telling me I have no Internet connection when I do. Ideal stressful experience for while trying to park and catch a train!! (Not). Also if you tick SMS in the notifications options this costs 40p every time you park while I felt was not clearly explained beforehand.

Makes payment harder, not easier. The app doesn't let you start a session in the past. So if you don't have a signal (e.g. Underground car park), you have to start the session later. Which can lead to false under-reporting. If you are an infrequent user it logs you out without notice, and you have to resurrect the app whilst running to catch your train, order a meal, etc. The app uses more of your time at the worst possible moments than simple card payments. It adds no value.

App is painfully slow. If it wasn't for the fact that it's useage was only way to pay for the car park I'm in, I'd uninstall it. Each tap results in over a minute delay until next step. Ridiculous. And that a "convenience charge" is added by default 🤦♂️ The app is definitely not convenient. And other apps worked fine in the car park, so internet access was not the issue 🤷♂️

just doesn't open any more, i've re-installed, changed password but once I enter my information it just shows a loading icon until it times out. Really frustrating and time consuming. If you don't have your cards with you then you cant use the phone version thus really not allowing parking options and no other options. customer services haven't helped so far. Used to be a really useful app but now a let down. Any advice would be most welcome. It also amazes me how you have a few 5* reviews??

Upset. Got a parking fine. App logged me out without my knowledge. Caused me stress on the roadside. The registered password did not work. Tried to find another Pay & Display machine in mean time. However, at least two P&D machines were not working. Did a password reset on RingGo. By the time, I get back to my car, the traffic warden had given a fine. Super fast. Unsympathetic traffic warden. Stressed. Ruined my weekend.

Absolute garbage. Can't even verify account to log in. Edit: In case it isn't obvious, my need for parking was temporary and immediate. In any case: I did, at the time, try to contact your customer service both over the phone and online. The phone line is just a useless loop to try and get you to pay for parking, which is frustrating if you have already paid at the kiosk in the lot. The live chat service simply glitched out and would not function from either my Android or my friend's Iphone.
