Twisty route planning is awesome. I turn by turn navigation have a little more warning for a turn so I'm focused on enjoying the ride instead of looking at my phone to make sure a turn isn't imminently approaching. Additionally, if you miss a turn, it does not adjust the route or tell you the easiest way to get back on it.

This app is pointless. You can search and find tracks in the area, but you can't select them and add them to your route. The best you can do is set a route to the starting point of someone else's track. There's no data available for any route (difficulty level, season date range, comments, etc) Map overlays don't work, at all. The only reason I have this is because it's included free with my cycle gear membership. It needs so many things fixed.

The idea behind the app is great, I love the ease of designing routes and the automatic twisty road routing. The app is clunky, but not unusable. I only wanted to use it to cast to my bike, and sadly every time I try the app crashes. Tried messing with Samsung's battery optimization settings among some others, to no avail. Not useful to me atm, but I'd be ecstatic if the devs fixed some problems.

Meh... used to use Detecht but it's been having problems. I got Rever pro mainly for tracking as my wife likes to track my rides BUT this is useless. Each time I try to share my ride and send the link it always goes to her phone as "ride data not available". Turned things off, changed settings, uninstalled and reinstalled but no luck. Also if I have my Cardo Bluetooth connected Rever doesn't want go past the opening screen....maybe a mystery setting is wrong but the vids are unhelpful

Update to my previous review the app has gotten worse. Which we had an negative star rating option. Now if I can get it to accept the route that I want it changes it to the route it originally recommended a few minutes into the ride. Also it is only good for 1 ride a day. Extremely hard to use. Can't modify your routes without adding way points. If you touch a suggested profile while trying to scroll it sends a friends request. This app is trash. Please separate it from the RPM membership.

Works good for route planning, but some of the bugs made the app unusable for me. There is no course correction, and sometimes the map doesn't move with your location, so you can't see your next turn unless you completely restart the app, save your previous ride, and plot an entirely new ride. More trouble than it's worth.

This app really needs a landscape mode when in map mode. Can't have the phone in portrait mode without blocking gauge info, and can't read anything when it's in landscape mode because it doesn't rotate. The ride summary I wish was customizable and had more detail on route names when over viewing the ride. For instance, I'd like it to show the routes driven on and the total mileage and ride time all in one screen for easy screenshots. I have the pro version, still needs work.

UGH!!! App used to work great, but now, not so much. Stops recording all by itself all the time. I've tried on multiple devices and checked all the settings, but it makes no difference. If im riding anywhere other than just around town, the app is pretty much useless for recording the ride. I've been a pro member for several years, but I don't think I'll renew again this year. I'm trying a different app that has not had any problems so far, so probably going to switch to the RISER app instead.

Updated review because the app has gotten worse. You can use it to research some rides but that's about it. Try to plan a ride with too many stops: crashes. Try saving a route before it crashes to try and edit it later: "edit route" starts you over from scratch: can't edit. Suggested rides still suggests things on the wrong side of the planet. The ads and articles are annoying. I just want simple route planning and navigation. Whomever is developing this app ain't using it.

I have tried using Rever off and on for several years. Creating rides on the website and riding them via turn by turn navigation on several different cell phones over the years. It's almost always terrible. Once in a while it will work: just often enough to make me give it the benefit of the doubt. That is always a disappointment. A few years back I even worked with customer support trying to resolve and issue, no help at all.

OK, had to update my review. One of the things I liked about this app was the 3D videos of my rides. It used to allow you to add pictures, and those pics would be shown in the 3D videos. Unfortunately, when I add pictures now, they don't show up on the videos. I may have to rethink continuing my pro status.

It is quite easy to create a route & that's probably the only good thing for me The fact that the display screen time-out is not overwritten in the active "Ride it" mode, basically, the display goes dark after 10 min, that's the max on my Android, is a huge distraction, but the killer argument for not using it anymore is, that you can only use it in portrait mode, my BMW phone mount is landscape, a complete mismatch

I tried using this app several times to find routes to take and each time the complexity deterred me. Today I was to go on a planned trip so I decided to try again, I created the trip and saved it to use later. Time to ride it was so hard finding where the trip was saved, after I found it and clicked on the trip it wouldn't start the trip. After trying multiple times I jus when to Waze as it seemed I was not ment to user Rever. On my return I attempted again and the same result. MAKE IT BETTER!!

I love that it suggests and shows stretches of good riding roads, it helps me planning new routes, but navigating those planned routes on the app is a nightmare, it crashes, it looses it's location, so many bugs, frustrating, I always finish my rides using Scenic which is not helpful on the planning side, but when you lost, scenic navigation is flawless. I am trying really hard to work with Rever but it is frustrating and at times useless. Plan routes with Rever, Navigate with something else.

The foundation and concept are great, however the execution is still poor. I tried to follow a user route, and while everything was going great initially, I must have hit a way point or stop that caused tracking to lose it's bearing. I got stuck in some logic loop which essentially ruined the trip. While I really want to see this app work, just like last year when I tried it for the first time, the same problems persist.

What a frustrating app! The app allows you to download map areas to be used offline, but it doesn't automatically switch when you go into an area without data coverage. Another really annoying thing is when I plan routes on my computer and then edit them later. The changes don't appear when I open the new route on my phone. It's still the old route. I thought things were supposed to be synced between devices. But wait, there's more. Sadly Google limits review length. This could be so much better.

Horrible. I have a Pixel 6. I wasted hours trying to use this app just to end up using Google Maps. The app doesn't register when you've reached a waypoint. My motorcycle came with a phone mount, but this app loses the route finding menu when you put your phone into landscape. It also doesn't always recognize when you're in landscape.

Buggy, hard to use for finding routes. Needs a strong cell signal to work correctly which defeats the purpose of using it for remote trips. It will hang there spinning if you go farther away than it likes and you try to change or pause the ride. Tried to use it for auto text alerts when I leave and finish a ride and that is unreliable, texts won't get delivered until hours later at times. Updated to remove another star because helpful negative reviews that point out these problems get buried.

Support is unresponsive even though they say these things are possible: Once you choose "ride it" from one of your saved rides and choose either "follow route line" or "navigation", there's no way to switch to the other option. You can't finish/save a ride with no data. And there's no option to NOT save a ride. If you exit the app, it just loads the ride you're trying to cancel when you start it back up. Needs major fixes to allow cancelling an active ride, and switching navigation modes.

Truly awful. Got itself truly mixed up. Crashed multiple times. Directions stopped updating. Was adding time and distance to my destination even though I was getting closer to home. Had me miss turns by being distracted because it wouldn't shut up. Can't reroute when you miss said turn. After rebooting the app and restarting the planned route, it couldn't figure out I was already halfway round the route. Can't give you a straight view of where you are going. Road is always pointing sideways.
