Simple, nostalgic, cheap to upgrade to get a lil extra salary cap or a good roster to start... It's perfect. I can play it with one hand, pause for as long as I need it to be without starting games over and over again.... And I might just be lame. But I play it over and over Might be crazy But every football season it pops into my mind like clock work. And I re-download it and enjoy it all over again.

Good, but can be improved. The offense controls are intuitive, the player stats are understandable, and player management aspect is great, especially the team building and drafting. However, there is absolutely no way to control the defence outside of what players you have. Its really anticlimactic and annoying to be in a close game, get the tie, then lose the coin flip in overtime just to lose when you have no real control over anything thats happening.

Love it. The kiss rule. Keep It Simple Stupid pretty much sums up everything about the game. Nothing stupid. Nothing complicated. It's fun and you don't have to shell out tons of money for the cool things. Heads up the difficulty settings, it seems medium and hard give the best experience. Dynamic is well I get it but can make a 2 star team hard to beat and 5 star team to easy to beat. Never played on extreme.

Game is good and I have played it for a while. But the game keeps crashing when I want to customize the team and when I play for a while midgame game or at random. Sometimes it even deletes saves and I have to start over. I have tried everything to fix it on both of my devices and nothing works. Please fix this bug. Other than that problem the game is great.

This is my new favorite game on mobile. The mechanics are simple but smooth do an amazing job capturing all the interesting nuances and complexities of football. The game works so flawlessly and I love all the team management and front office gameplay. If they could add a stronger soundtrack, stadium sounds and some light commentary, it would really tie everything together even more!

This is how mobile games should be done. This game is very fun, doesn't seem engineered just to show ads, in fact there are either no ads or very few. Overall this is one of the best mobile games I've ever played. Controls are simple and easy to use . It has options if you want to buy certain credits but the game doesn't rely on you paying to progress. It's done very tastefully

Great game, really fun due to the passing and running mechanics, and also the team / roster management is cool. The one thing I would change that would make it 5 stars imo, would be a playbook with the ability to call your own plays, instead of the play picked for you with a limited number of audibles which is how it works currently.

It's a pretty good game for football fanatics and is a great timer killer that requires NO INTERNET COMNECTION which is amazing, would rate 5 stars but I have some complaints 1. Updates are rare I get that it's hard to change much about and already existing sport but we could get things like challenges, better replay cams, and penalties 2. It gets hard to lose after a while and winning a retrobowl feels like no real reward as it becomes to easy to do so. Good game nonetheless. Highly recommend.

I went away from this game for a while in favor of the college version because this version was too easy to score. It looks like they fixed that because I'm now losing games if I play poorly which is good. My only issue right now is that I don't see the stats being tracked correctly. If I throw an INT in the endzone. I just threw a game sealing pick at the last second and afterwards my QB stats don't reflect the pick.

I love this game, just have few problems with it. 1. The game gets too easy after a while so maybe a increase in difficulty like retro bowl college. 2. I want to control the defense, I think it be a good way to make it more interesting. 3. Maybe more realistic features like a trade portal and more control on players contract, like giving them a 5 year contract for a certain amount of money or a 1 year contract to see if he deserves another resignation. Other than that this game is great.

Amazing game. Loads of fun. It seems the team ratings have been fixed, which is awesome! But there is one game feature I feel should be imrpoved: QB speed. There are A LOT of QBs that are really fast, but in this game they're all very, very slow. Not a big issue, but it's be nice to see some quicker quarterbacks. Definitely should make a special save that matches with a special save in RB College so they can cross over.

First, NO ads. NOT one! If you grew up scoring touchdowns with Bo Jackson in Nintendo's Tecmo Super Bowl, you will appreciate this game. Simple & fun. I suggest putting on extreme difficulty bc all the others are easy. Btw, there is also a college version of the same game. No doubt about it, both games are definitely 100% good, I personally lean more to the college version, mostly due to the fun off-season recruting part. Ive been playing the game for 5+ years, spent a whopping $0.99! FUN GAME!

It's a fun game that wastes time when you need to kill it. There's a lot too it as well, so it'll keep yeah hooked. The one frustrating thing is that, when playing on the hardest mode, they don't play harder, but essentially just cheat. They can snatch a ball out of the air when it is no where near them. They cause fumbles like to other, even if you have a 5-star team and players. Also, I'm convinced that your own team just plays dumber when the opposing team has a 5 star defense!

Very good and fun game reminds me a little of madden. However, there are a few problems. One is you have absolutely no control of the defense, so you have to sit there and prey they don't score, which they almost always do. Secondly, interceptions. SO MANY interceptions, at least on their team. I'll be so close to a touchdown when all of a sudden I lose because Usain Bolts cousin intercepts it from across the field. And whenever I'm defending, I feel like I get little to none. Pretty fun tho.

Great game addicting n fun but need to work on the opposing team in a season miss an extra point 95% of games, it's cool to miss one here n there, but every game? Ya doing too much. Love this game, I've noticed the defense is getting tougher to go against n I really like that. I currently play seasons n I keep my team at a total of 4 stars or below, could you offer more 1 n 2 star players in the draft n in the free agency. Thanks. Love the game it's fun n addicting.

Love the game. But the blocking system is terrible. An o-linemen can't hold a block for more than a second on a run. This is a great game and has so much potential. But please fix this one option. I also think adding mini games to Retri Bowl would be so much fun. Allowing the players to level up easier would be such. It would also be great if the game would allow me to upgrade a players potential. This is an amazing game that only needs a little bit of work. Please apply these ideas immediately.

Such a fun game with enormous potential. I would love to see online and defense. Hopefully these are in progress, not even sure if the Devs want to, but after you get 5 star Offense, Defense, OF, and DF and you've won the retro bowl 3 seasons in a row, you kinda run out of stuff to do. I do love this game, but I would like to see more stuff added. I played about 2 years ago and then stopped and recently redownloaded. Hated to see that no much changed.
