The performance of the app is very good overall. However, I can't see my outdoor temperature/ humidity sensor data, and there is a pop-up every single time I open the app that bugs me to turn on notifications that I have intentionally turned off. That second issue is very annoying. People should be able to choose whether they want notifications or not without being perpetually heckled.

Very primitive interface. Poor support of features of product being managed(Wi-Fi thermostat). Not intuitive navigation. Old app loaded in January worked but then suddenly disappeared from Play Store with note that wasn't available anymore even though website allowed link to TRY and download it. No explanation given for old app being removed or any indication what replacement app should be used. I wound my way to this app and found it less appealing or useful than the one I THINK it replaced.

App is finicky and occasionally it won't even open. It appears that they may have fixed the issue with constant notifications when opening (which repeatedly say the thermostat is new and ask you to set up a schedule even if you did already). I'm hoping they continue to work on it. Thermostat itself is okay and works with Alexa sometimes which is nice. Would like things to be more consistent

Downgraded to 0 Stars. These are not compatible with some phones like Pixel. Use some other Thermostat instead of Honeywell. Horrible software. The app is horrible after the recent updates. Most of the time when I open the app, I just get the message "No Internet connection" even though I have a 1Gbps stable Internet connection. When this happens I have to force quit the app and then open again. Bad experience. Hope they fix it soon.

I have 2 - L1 WiFi Water Leak Detectors. THey worked fine until I had to change the batteries on one of them. Since then, 1 of them isn't in USAA Connected Services, it is in usaa-connected-services-pro. It is no longer recognized by USAA. I spoke to a Honeywell support rep on the phone. He had me create another group. I still went to usaa-connected-services-pro. I have uninstalled the app and re-installed it with the same results. There is a bug in the app.

Wow, this app is awesome! We just got a whole new HVAC system and T10+ thermostat plus one external sensor. Every part of the app works as intended and I love the ease of navigation and the features set. Honestly, I'm pretty blown away! What a relief after seeing some negative reviews. So far it's 5/5 for me. Will update in time.

My thermostat that worked for almost 4 years is not communicating with Resideo/ honeywell home. It still functions controlling my heating and air unit but no remote smart controls. I've reset everything on my end and I have no issues with other devices connected to my home network. Did a chat with service and those chats were dropped too without a call back. Tired of trying the same things over and over without a fix. Seems to be a common issue with others too. Fix the problem on your end!

Can't log on to app (2 different devices). Called support 6 days ago, sent second follow up email today, still no reply other than to open an expedited case. What does expedited mean? Fixed now, thank you. Shouldn't have taken more than a week. Added one star, as I'm now able to use the app again. Recommend you advise Duck Duck Go to automatically exclude your app from their tracking block feature and make clear in your instructions what is needed to be able to log on.

We JUST got our thermostat installed on our older home after hiring someone $$$. We had the TCC app, connected to our Alexa devices. Tried it tonight and she said the device was not responding. Come to find out there is a complete app upgrade (new app), and our device isn't even supported at this time with "third-party apps". When will this issue be resolved? We're currently very upset, because what's the point if the Smart features are unaccessible?

POS. 25 degrees and snowing, and my app no longer shows my thermostat. asshats. The thermostat never kicks on, and after about 1 minute the thermostat will go back to 67. Then, if I click on the location, and it brings up the thermostat, I can adjust it from that screen fine. For some reason, the home screen never functions. Edit: 30 degrees tonight, huge snowstorm, and this BS app is down again. Edit 2- four years later, same BS. constant inability to change thermostat due to server maintenance

Runtime is a few days behind, which is annoying and not what I was used to with the nest. Otherwise, works fine. I love the remote sensors with motion, humidity and temp. Would be 5 star if they fixed the aforementioned item. However, based on message boards, this problem has persisted for at least a year.

8/31/21: Using w/ T9 & 0 sensors. App flickers on open & requires pin 2+ times. Weather usually unavailable (annoying but not a deal breaker). Geofence is buggy (at best) & inverts/misses home/away triggers. I like the ability to change settings from my phone, but the app needs a major overhaul. 1/11/23: Flicker and pin resolved; Geofence is worse. Changing temp usually fails/lags. Still bad OA 5/15/24: Added 2 sensors. Priority changes randomly. Severe lag turning off. Awful experience!

Edit: Moving to 4 stars as they have finally updated the app! Unfortunate it took 4 months but happy to know I was not crazy and there really was an issue with Pixel 8. Old: This app worked great on my Samsung S10. After updating to a Pixel 8 and Android 14 I am unable to do anything. The message says that the client id parameter is missing and I cannot sign in. I have reached out to support but they say the error is with my phone. I have cleared caches, uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail.

You'd think with all the 1 and 2 star reviews someone at Honeywell would realize that this app sucks. Apparently they have no interest in making it work correctly. Ever since I've had it, it goes from one problem to another. The problem this time is that it won't connect to Alexa. When it quit working with Alexa, it also stopped working with Google at the same time. A week later, Google can now control it but not Alexa. Trying to unlink so as to start over, Resideo says, "A error has occurred"😥

Every single time I open this app I'm forced to tell it "No, I don't want to enable notifications" before I'm allowed to actually use the app. Every. Single. Time. Edit: Resideo has recommended that I uninstall and reinstall. I have done this; two weeks later and the problem persists. I suspect that this is less a "bug" and more a "feature." For what it's worth: the app does work, it's just relentless in asking for permissions it doesn't need to function how I want.

4/2024 Welp, down to 2 stars now. Now I keep having to reset my wifi because the app keeps saying the thermostat is offline. I just reset it 2 hrs ago & it's offline AGAIN! 11/2023 Usually works fine. But now, when I click the app, it opens and immediately closes. I always have to open it again. Also, it keeps asking me to update my preferences after I've done it. Lastly, my heat keeps randomly coming on. I turn it off at night and it randomly on when i wake up.

Totally understand the low ratings for this app. I've been using it over a year in our new home and it mostly works but is very buggy/inconsistent with being connected so that I can either confirm or update the temp settings. The weather is glitchy but I noticed most of my issues get resolved with me simply closing out the app completely a couple to a few times and going back in. It's annoying but works for me 80% of the time vs doing any other unnecessary troubleshooting.

Like so many others, can't connect. Followed instructions, disabled mobile data. Thermostat shows connected, phone shows connected to lyric Wi-Fi, but app will not proceed, repeatedly errors at same spot. have had the thermostat for over a year, this is the third phone which we've tried to connect. *Edit... Five years have passed since that review in 2019, just tried two more new phones, still goes through entire process and still errors out at the end. Time to get a new one.

Runtime unavailable for a new thermostat. Looking online, people have had the same bug on other models for at least two years, either with no or severely delayed logging. Considering that's why we got the thing it's a hard one star from me without a fix. Those more interested in the app's other features will probably be less frustrated, but it's still weird it hasn't been patched for this long and it's not like there aren't other options on the market that just work. Rant over.

I arrive home before the app's geofence detects that I'm nearby. I manually change the thermostat when I get home. Then a minute later the app detects I am home and switches to my home settings, overriding my manual input and disabling the AC. The app also has interactions when you swap back to it and are changing the temperature where it will randomly reset to the last saved value. Also if you set the temperature too quickly and swipe away the app, the temperature never updates. Poor design.
