App has a lot of the previous bugs fixed. A lot better to work with. App has to be loaded / then closed several times before the app opens . A very big nuisance!!!! I have even deleted the app and reloaded it several times, doesn't help!!

Even after moving 1000 miles away, I still bank with Republic. The closest Republic to me is 125 miles away. I can do all my banking, paying bills, etc. online with the mobile app and my bank card. If I run into trouble, reps are a phone call away and ready to help! Thanks, Republic! Actually, I was trying to write another review and somehow all I managed to do was change the date on my old one. Since I wrote the first one, Republic has continued to help me in every way. It's simple easy to use you can transfer money it's the same for this small Bank as it is for any app from any of the big Banks can take a picture of your check and make a deposit. What I like about Republic Bank is it's a small bank they treat you like a person not a number and they know my name they don't try to sell me they call me when they're suspicious activity on my account they truly care about their customers Been with them since 2009. Aug 2024 and still the best,!!!

Great app very secure. Did have a 5⭐ review, but had to change my rating. App not so speedy on warning the user that a purchase has been made,or attempted. Transaction are not posted until roughly 30-40 hrs later. Sucky feature if you use text features to maintain purchase security indicator feature. Thieves would be long, long gone,by the time you received the text.

Republic in my pocket, it's great. Simple interface. We all knew we'd make it to this type on banking on our phones, they made it happen. Update 3.12.20 😁PRO: And it keeps getting better and better! 😞CON: I would love to have available on line, all records for 1 year to assist with taxes. Storage is becoming very inexpensive.

Love the App and the Bank!!!! From the built in "Bill Pay" feature to the various notifications you can customize to fit your needs. I like the daily account balance text and the ones associated with my debit card which tells me immediately whenever it is used. All without annoying fees!

App would be great if it didn't time out in 10 seconds or less. Trying to deposit a check is ridiculous. Finally get a good pic and it times out. Snap a pic of the front and it times out. If it's always timing out it's pretty useless. Know what else 50% of the time when I go to use the ATM since the mobile deposit doesn't work, I get there and the ATM is down. Other than deposits it's cool. Update: after a couple years they finally got it right.

Would have given 5 stars, except for the fact that the mobile check deposit function is the most frustrating thing I've ever attempted to do. Took me over 30 minutes and countless attempts to get a picture that the app would actually accept. Other than that the app is very useful. Not sure if the app has been updated or not but the mobile check deposit is much better. Mobile check deposit is much much better!

Updates ruined mobile deposit. It is easier to drive to the bank than to achieve a successful image. Do not bother until this is fixed. Update 12/3/18: Still terrible. I am not sure how they ruined this through the app coding, but they did. I regularly deposited checked easily before and it regularly fails now. The app adds non-existent shadows even in brightly lit conditions, then Republic rejects the deposit as illegible. I am a 10 year Republic client switching my banking services to a bank that allows me to actually utilize mobile deposit.

I have used this app in the past & it worked great. I recently re-signed up & had a very difficult time when i tried taking a picture of the back of check! The "endorse here" and "write mobile deposit" kept getting in the way corners/edges of check and kept denying photo. It took WAY too long!! Convenient but not worth the aggravation.

Used to be a great app... What happened? I've been using this app since 2017 and everything has always worked great. Login was quick. Account info was perfect. Now, it's awful. It sometimes takes me 4 tries just to get the app to open to allow login because it will try to open then get stuck with a white screen. I have to keep force stopping it so I can start over until it works. The account data doesn't show pending items. Prior authorizations appear, then disappear only to pop up again. AWFUL!

Update 8/7/23: App is unreliable now. I constantly have to close out and reopen to get it to allow me access. Half the time it just shows the Republic Bank logo and freezes. Wish they would figure out what's causing that. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it doesn't help. When it works, it's great. When is the keyword. ----------------------------- Fantastic app that is simple, yet, robust and to the point. No need for all the extra fluff like with other banking apps. I love this app.

This is a great app unless I am trying to do a mobile deposit. The pics are awful and usually have to take 3 times and the $2000 limit is too low. The rest of the functions seem to work great. I have changed my review! The pics for mobile depisit are much better now!! Thank you! But the $2000 limit is still too low.

10/06/23 Edit... Overall excellent. Easy review of all items! The Mobil deposit picture taking has been worked on and is optimal! Edited November 27th 2018. The app at this time is greatly improved and refined. the mobile deposit issue that wouldn't allow me to take pictures has been resolved and the new version is really nice. it focuses in very well and the prompts are properly placed for where you are to endorse and add for mobile deposit.

It's really not helpful when a notification of any deposit or withdrawal is anywhere from 3 to 7 days behind the actual deposit or withdrawal. Also, why does your system send me balance notifications so super early in the morning? Shouldn't you set the system to send those kinds of notifications at a reasonable hour? Yes, you can control what notifications you receive but it might I suggest that the app be more efficient?

MAJOR ISSUE!!! There is a setting in the app that allows you to receive an email if there's a transaction made over a certain amount. However I don't receive the email until I log into the app which makes the entire point of sending an email useless. We should be notified immediately and not when we log into the app because we're seeing it for ourselves so what's the point of an email?

Well, they have gone and done the impossible, took a bad app and made it 100% useless. No longer allows you to use your fingerprints to login, always have to type your password, so anyone can see you doing that. They added a ton of useless, nobody would ever want or use "features". Whoever maintains this app needs to go back to second grade. This is beyond stupid.
