App is slow, glitchy when trying to select a rental to view and always pans out of the map to a different province. If they fix the bugs it has a nice user interface and is easy to use.

What's the point of having filters if you are still going to show me everything that I am not interested in? If I select a 2 bedroom condo, I don't want to see basement apartments, rooms, 1 bedroom + den. At this time, this app is pretty much useless. And on top of that, pictures are not loading.

This app used to work, but now there's errors and code issues all over the place. Can't search for a location. Every action pops up an error occurred message. The website works. The app doesn't. 😞

App is unusable. Tried filtering for only apartments, not rooms, kept getting Private Rooms in results. Either the filters are not working, or the ads are miscategorized. But then, there is no way to report miscategorized ads either. So like I said, unusable.

When I try to save properties to favourites or send messages to property owners all I get is error messages and I am unable to do anything other than view properties. This App needs a lot of work and in this state I do not recommend this app. Use the website instead.

Apartment buildings put ads on here for all their offerings combined into one ad (for cost, obviously) with ranges of rents and amenities so that when you search for specific criteria, all major apartment buildings come back even though any one specific unit in their building will not meet the filters desired. Kinda ridiculous. Each posting should be for a unit, not a collection of all units in a building. It made apartment hunting very frustrating.

What an absolute garbage app. Don't use this app if you're trying to find places to rent. Pop up's don't close and good luck trying to locate a small town via the search bar, you literally have to use the map the find it and it will revert back to the Toronto area if it doesn't think that town exists.

I favorited many places so I could look at them later. I then decided I should create an account on the app so I could sync my favorites and keep searching on pc. The app gave me an error and wouldn't let me create a profile. So i went on the website and created a profile. When I signed in on my phone the app deleted all of my favorites.

Slow and clunky. When (if) it finally does load, once you've explored a given neighbourhood and want to look at another, you have to wait a very long time for it to load again. Times out two-thirds of the time. Constantly defaulting my search to Toronto. Very annoying. Likely uninstalling.

It loads rental properties using your location by default. Whn I tried entering a particular city it won't let me type as if it's frozen. But I am able to move location in maps, soI did that and it took a good couple of minutes to load rentals of that location and again to open a rental and look for more info takes another couple of minutes. And to top it all the app won't minimize and phone stops working if tried force stopping the app from settings. PS:Using pixel 4 xl with high speed internet

The application got worse with the update. Not able to get acces to the listings and everything takes too way long to upload. I had noticed many issues for a while with the previous version and I thought I would improve. Instead of improvements there is more things to fix now. I find very valuable the info from Rentals.ca so please take a deep look into the app and website to make it nore valuable for users.

A little bit slow, a bit clunky and generally poor for finding what you want despite the nice clean layout of the app overall. Search criteria doesn't matter due to featured ads getting sprinkled in randomly so if you're looking for the most recent ads you'll get the same results if you were to hit "Random". Looking at an area and zoom in to get a better look? Units move around randomly. Randomly throws me into Toronto on occasion which is less than helpful.

This app is nice and all, could use more filters to differentiate between a basement suite vs full house vs main floor, but otherwise pretty good. This would honestly be four stars if this app wasn't about as responsive as a cat on opium. It takes forever to load anything, won't take any input until it has finished loading everything, I often just switch to a different rental app and hope that the property I wanted more info on is in there because trying to get more information is so arduous.

Every time I close the app it logs me out. Every time I go into the app, whether I'm logged in or logged out, it resets my city to Toronto. I've looked at my profile and all the settings options and can't find a way to change this. If the company has to reply with instructions on how to keep your home city your home city, it's not intuitive enough. I do like that the listings seem to have fewer scams than other classifieds. Hence why I didn't give them 1 star.

Love the website and is so simple to use. The app however has MANY bugs. I constantly get an error message whenever I try to view random properties, make an account or save alerts. I reccomend just sticking with the website until they update the app.

java.lang.IllegalStateException: Expected BEGIN_ARRAY but was BEGIN_OBJECT at line 1 column 60905| path $.data.categories - Get this error constantly when clicking on grouped dots. - many properties don't load - many properties only load 5 images - some properties have many duplicate images - takes forever to load certain zones, many times it just doesn't load at all

Doesn't load. It was fine a few weeks ago but now it absolutely just doesn't work. When you click anywhere, that's all you can do, you can't actually click any listings, no listings will load. It says error occurred or timeout and just never loads and then freezes and gets glitchy. This sucks so much. Fix the bug, the concept of the app is great and the interface is super user friendly but right now the code is broken so it's not usable.

Well the map feature is about the best part of this app...otherwise the filters are way too basic to make searching for the right fit an easy experience. You choose price range, bedrooms, bathrooms, and building type and that is all. If you have any special wants like a dishwasher, parking underground, pets, smoking, etc. Its a laborious crawl through each listing in your price range to see if its a fit.

Every other thing you do on the app is: error occured. App allows places listed in a range (despite not actually offering places to rent within that range) to get around your search filters. Listings from months-year ago are still listed (never sure if they just forgot to take it down or are still looking (and should be required to update listing)) which continues to show how little the app cares about your time.

It's shocking how much that's wrong with the web interface transfers to mobile. The way that it grabs control of your map as you zoom and pan around, and how listing pop in and out of existence as you move, even when you don't leave the screen is infuriating. The blue are that appears automatically seems arbitrary, and doesn't make sense.
