Remote for Roku: TV Remote

I love this, but one thing that I don't like about it. It runs non stop on my phone when I use the head phones to use my connected Bluetooth speakers for my TV show. If my phone isn't lit up than I lose my Bluetooth transmitter. It runs my battery life down. I have to leave it plugged in. Than slow to charge. That's the only annoying part. Could be rated 5 star if it didn't have to be all roku speakers to connect to. 🤔

continuous ads and hidden X to get rid of the ad and use the remote so you accidentally go to the ad, then have to watch another ad once You're back on the remote. I understand the need for ads to sub the cost of the free version, but an ad every 4-5 clicks of any button is excessive. I hardly use the TV I use this for, or I would buy a new TV as it took me half an hour to browse before I gave up and just put on something close to where I was so I didn't have to watch anymore ads.

Too many ads - they've also went ahead and changed the expected correspondence with ads in app, it isnt a timed add or one that you can click back from, you have to click "back to app" or something along those lines at the top right corner, it's very aggressive, quite methodical in terms of optimizing time of exposure, which is tied to revenue, I would assume, many of the reviews are about the ads which shows a lack of desire for adjustment, I would highly suggest to look elsewhere.

About every 3rd tap on the remote you have to contend with an add. It's horrible if you are attempting to search for anything! The remote doesn't stay connected so if you need to pause something after it has sat idle for a bit, best of luck to you. The best feature is when the remote is connected, you can turn the TV both on and off. Honestly, that option and the keyboard are the only features that warrant 2⭐s. Otherwise, the lifetime price of $9.99 would've been an overcharge😭

First week.. Works as is supposed to. That being said, an ad pops up every couple buttons pushed and sometimes every single time you push a button. If you are scrolling through a streaming app or channels it makes it nearly impossible!! Second month.. ads have basically stopped and app is GREAT especially when I can't find the remote. Definitely recommended 👌

I have the Roku Express and the remote for TV was doing well. Now it does not recognize my Roku Express and insist that I have a streaming stick. More problems than its worth. What more could you want. This app is very unreliable to use with my current phone. So please stop any monies coming out of my account as I have already deleted the app from my phone. Thank you.

The only good thing about this is that I'm not having to wait for a new remote to be shipped out. I paid 1069 after taxes for the lifetime access to the app there are now more ads on it then whenever I had the free version that only turned the TV on and off and changed the HDMI settings. You can't even search for a show or open an app without a 30-second ad popping up and stopping you from what you were doing. This was definitely a waste of $10

Personally I think you're at needs more than work. It seems that you guys want to harass people with ads until they are forced into paying for your monthly or lifetime subscription. Just a few presses on the buttons leads to add City. It's the worst app that I have ever had the displeasure of using. It's easier just to find a keychain and put your remote on it.

Way too many adds. I tried to follow the instructions on how to upgrade and couldn't locate. I sent an email and to date, no response. The most annoying thing is the connection issue. I have to unplug the TV each day for the app to connect. After that first time, the connection is fine. It's also annoying that the app times out after non use for a minute. To keep having to connect is ridiculous

First of all, there was a purchase price for this app. Now it has ads, and not just at the top, it will expand the ad to full screen while you are using it (every 4th click) so that you will open the advertisement and exit what you were doing. It also won't stay connected to any devices after sitting still for a few moments. I've had this for several months (maybe even a year by now) and I don't like it. This one does have a few extra features over free ones but very frustrating to use.

this app was working great before I paid for the lifetime subscription, but then I bought the subscription, and now it doesn't work no matter what I do. I'm on the same wifi as both of my rokus. I've written to yalls support team reporting an issue with it, so far no word. At this point I would like a refund as I'm not going to get to use this service that I paid for.

I am a bit disappointed. My dog chewed up my roku remote so my daughter suggested I use an app. I was happy to be able to watch TV again but the ads were very annoying. I ended up buying the subscription so I didn't have to deal with them while scrolling. My subscription is fully paid for for the year and I was without ads for a few days. Now the ads are popping up again. I paid for this app and I am still getting ads! The ads are much shorter but they are still ads when I'm scrolling.

Update I want to cancle this and get a full refund. Hasn't been 2 days yet and since you offer a 3 day trial with ads. I have tried everything your q&a suggested and still getting ads. So lets just call this the stupid trial and give me my money back. Works fine, my problem is I paid for the lifetime and it said no ads yet every 3 or 4 buttons pushed a ad comes on. Makes it hard to navigate through my streamers and or fast forward. So why did I pay for it? Thinking I want my money back !

I don't know what changed but the app has become so bad you really can't even use it. Every time I tap on just one function or sometimes 2 buttons the App starts interrupting with more ads than I have ever seen before. Until the ad has finished your mobile remote is useless. I pay $3.99 monthly for ad free use. I'm uninstalling and cancelling my subscription if this isn't fixed within a few days. I wrote a review not long after I first subscribed. I gave it a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ review!

It's mildly helpful when our remotes batteries die, but its becoming obnoxious. it keeps disconnecting from the tv when the app doesn't get more than 5 mins of me constantly taping the screen on my phone to make sure the connection doesn't die on me, so when an ad pops up on youtube that I can skip I have to reconnect again but the ads already over by the time I reconnect it which is pretty annoying , so 2 stars because I'm annoyed...

If it wasn't for an insane amount of ads after every few button presses, seriously not joking review readers, the remote app would be great. However after only a few clicks on the remote and ad will pop up that ranges from 5 seconds to 15 or more. Some you can skip after 5 seconds or so and many you cant skip. Truly renders it as close to u useable as you can get.

There are so many ads on this app is so horrible!!.DO NOT get this app!!! There are times where I can only clicked maybe three times if I'm lucky before it shows me a 30-second ad in which 70% of the time it is unskippable.. sometimes I can only click once before it shows me an ad. I absolutely hate this app I would not recommend to anybody
