The remote works great. If you don't have an iPhone and your remote is dead it's definitely worth it. You do need to turn the TV on before connecting and my TV controller was dead so I had to turn it on from the bottom of my TV. It's a great app for anyone that needs an online remote app. It's free and works perfect. I would definitely recommend.

Way too many ads. I am willing to deal with some ads as I know the app has to generate income. However, these ads are both intrusive and seem predatory in that they request imput without clearly saying they are an ad and they imply that they are part of the app setup. This is predatory. Also they are intrusive and come up every few remote clicks. Other than that, the app appears to work as indicated, but unusable due to ads.

Good in a pinch. WAAAY too many ads. And inconveniently placed too when setting up. I probably pressed 5 different ads trying to get it set up because they make it look like it's part of the app. Will probably uninstall once I leave my brother's today. Overall, good for a few hours when you can't find the remote. Probably won't install again.

I don't know what to think about this app. I paid the $9.99 for the ad free version and I'll be damned if it doesn't still force me to watch an ad on every 3rd time you hit the button! Which is a real rip when turning off the screen takes 5 pushes of the button to accomplish! I have in and ordered an actual remote control for $6.99 from Amazon.

I cannot believe this app works as well as it does. Setup was like, literally just a couple buttons. Sure it isn't ad-free if you aren't paying, but by the beard of Zeus do I not care. I lost my remote for my TV, didn't have a way to do anything on my tv, and wanted to play my switch.. Couldn't change the input or volume, so I was stuck with the world's loudest static, and uh.. I got desperate, haha. This app saved my sanity amd my television experience. Oh, and they support like every TV ever.♡

I love this app. So whenever I lose the control, I have a remote on my phone. I lose the remote a lot so this is perfect. I don't know if it's just my phone but when I open the app, it sometimes freezes and really bugs me out. The ads don't really bother me that much. But if you can fix the problem. Then this app would be 5 stars 🤩🤩🤩. 10 stars if that was possible.

Have never uninstalled an app so fast. Couldn't even see if it worked with my tv because of the bottom placed ad, that has no close button, was in the way of the language selection screen. How does this have so many positive reviews? I closed the app to try and complete the setup and it was a different ad but still no close button. Click on the annoying ad go back to the app, different ad and still no close button. I get free apps have ads, but this was equivalent to a computer virus.

This app actually works, it has ALL or MOST tv brands, even cable. I downloaded it and it's honestly better than most apps, it has ads every once in a while but there only picture ads, The app is good yes, but I gave it 4 stars because it is a bit slow during times. But other than that if you lost your remote I recommend. Have a great day or night! 💗🥰

The remote app would be great except for two small problems 1) The ads cover up most of the app display so you can't use it properly. Your forced to exit out of the app or force close the app just to see the app control screen. 2) When you can actually use the app as a remote control the "constant vibration" on every touch and selection of the app controls is really annoying. I like my remotes to be silent... there's no way to Turn Off the haptic feedback vibrations.

It works! That's about the most glowing review you could give an app like this. Took less than 30seconds to sync up. Only downside is, the ads that pop up look like part of the app. Update: non skip-able ads on a remote control app is unbearable. Especially when a commercial comes on tv and its 27 decibels louder than the show you were watching but you have to sit through a 30second ad( sometimes 2) before it lets you actually use the remote. Sorry, I had to lower my rating and uninstal.

Ads too strong Edit: I appreciate the response, to further explain what I mean is that ads are everywhere all the time. There's no escaping them but it's the part where they interrupt use and cover 50%+ of the screen at the same time while a skip is offered near instantly it still makes it super easy to accidentally click an add other than that. This app did what I wanted and surpassed my expectations and I don't think I'll switch to another remote app anytime soon. Thank you

The ads on this app are atrocious. At first I was able to tolerate them, but now they appear every second. The app itself isn't too bad. It has a wide range of TVs. Sometimes it takes a while for it to work, but you'll be able to manage. Tone down the ads for real though. Edit: Changing rating because the app has caused more problems for me, I might just end up deleting it. This app has more ads than one of those trashy mobile games, it's really bad.

"All TV" is a lie. You have to "connect your phone to the same WiFi as the TV" . "All TV"s don't have WiFi. However the ads surely work. Immediately upon first open was an ad with a 'continue' button that would cause any non savvy person to tap something that wasn't part of the app and likely would have then install some mal/ad/spy ware on the phone thinking they were continuing the setup. User beware. This may not be quite as bad as the play store gets but it's pretty close.

I have been struggling with finding my remote lately and my previous remote app glitched out, while trying to find it again I found this one. Don't waste your time. I don't pay to remove ads, that's useless, but the audacity this app has to say changing your volume is PREMIUM. I could click on mute and the arrows and the ok button and all of that. But the moment I wanted to adjust the volume SIGN UP FOR PREMIUM! Useless.

Connected to my television without any problems, but it could only control the volume. The ads were also very annoying. So I spent $24 to get rid of ads and unlock all the features. It said that it would let me use the touch screen and all of the other buttons. The ads stopped, but I can still only control the volume. I even restarted my phone. Feels like a scam. Update: Apparently it doesn't work with my Brand TV. It should say that somewhere. Still one star.

Soooo many ads, and didn't even work. Edit: to clarify, when you open the app for the first time you are immediately hit with scam ads that don't look like an ad. It looks like you're setting up the app but instead you are taken to sketchy websites asking for TMI. Once you figure out how to get the ad off your screen, you are taken to more fill screen ads that look like set-up. Finally getting to the actual app, it connects through Wi-Fi to locate your TV. Didn't get it to work with my TV.

Was pleasantly surprised at how many brands and models of TV this works with. I got an old TV secondhand and it didn't come with a remote, now I don't need to buy a replacement right away. Took just a minute to set up and works great. Only issue is that I wish it had more than the bare minimum buttons. (I was really hoping I could use this app to change the display picture size.)

other than being packed with ads, works very well. I was surprised. It also has a faster response time to my TV than the official TV brand app does. I hit a button and the TV reacts immediately, to where as my TV brands app takes about 1-2 seconds to respond and can take up to 3 minutes to connect to my TV. This app is instant in both.

I was trying to find a way to connect to my 65 inch Samsung TV that's a couple of years old. It was connected to my smart things app on my phone, my tablet, and my fiancé's phone. Suddenly it says that the only way to resolve my TV being offline is to "ask the device owner(me) who has permission to connect it to SmartThings again. I didn't press anything on my TV when the icon popped up while pairing it with this app and BOOM IT WORKED like this app works miracles!♡ Thankyouu!🥹

The number of ads made it unusable. It's not just small ones on the screen at all times (although it has those on a bar across the bottom), no, every ten seconds there is a full page ad you have to wait out before you can get back to your remote. These make it seem like part of the app when you are trying to set up a connection so it would be VERY easy to click on something you don't want to. It also blocks any use of a VPN, which one can only assume is to prevent you from blocking any ads.
