Basically this app sucks! I give it 2 stars because it was easy to start using right away, however ads pop up iterally every three or four pushes of a button! If you try to get to a specific show you'll have to x out of four or five ads that pop up randomly and unannounced. You have to look at the remote the entire time otherwise you'll be clicking on ads all the time! It is positively ridiculous! Lord help you if you use the search feature! I'll be deleting it as soon as my new remote arrives.

Freezes up program and gives screen that says something went wrong. Then I have to close it manually in order to reopen and "resume" the program I was watching. So far I have had to do this three times during an episode at 10 minutes in. I don't like these new apps and can't get the old one back. None of them have private listening. This is garbage.

I was hoping to be able to use my phone to connect to the tv instead of having to utilize the controller every time. They want $25 for this option?! Okay. So the free option is continuous adds. A few adds a minute so you can't scroll over and look at things without encountering adds that you inadvertently click on. Seems scammy.

I grabbed this because the navigation buttons on my remote froze (no, I did not spill anything on it). Free version works for navigation but won't power the TV on or off, and you have to dismiss a full-screen ad after each click. A new remote costs far less than this ap. So it's a temporary fix if you can stand having to pause a second between each tap to get rid of ads.

This app is next level frustration. If you like ads every couple clicks, then this app is for you. If you want to use the 10sec back button and have it not work, then this app is for you. If you like to rewind a little bit and get stuck in an ad that takes you way farther back and then have to forward and get stuck in another ad, then this app is for you. Never have I ever yelled more at a virtual remote.

Fine except for the fact that an ad pops up literally every time you touch the screen! App opens to an ad you have to exit out of to launch the remote. After that every time you change channels, or any other function an ad pops up and you have to close it before the remote will do whatever it was you selected. Lasted 48 hours, went & bought a new remote! Not worth the hassle!!

Way too many ads, price is too expensive just for it to be a remote like come on 21.99 every year is ridiculous. And my volume was up on my TV and as soon as I cancelled my free trial and it went back to ad central I think it auto adjusted my volume now I can't hear anything. Now I'm going to have to buy a remote just to adjust it back I'll probably go to the store.

I would like to give it less but inorder to be able to say this I have to give a star. I had just opened the app. Immediately I was hit with being asked to review.Now I think I know why.When using the remote you can't even have a chance to find a show to watch for 10 seconds at a time before the ads start! I had to restart my attempt to find something to watch 5 times In less than a min.By the time you find something to watch you have already missed most of it! I found free apps which are😁!

If this remote didn't reset my tv to the homepage every time it connected I would give it 5 stars. As it is, it's just annoying. Sorry but it's honest feedback. Everything else about it is good but that's a total deal breaker as most phones kill background processes pretty aggressively now.Every time I need to use the remote, home page. Volume, homepage. Want to pause it, I can't because I'm on the homepage. I tried locking it in the recents menu and turning off battery saver settings. No help.

Okay, this update is making me crazy. First, it use to vibrate when I selected a channel. Now it doesn't. Next, I get a "running on mom's roku" on my screen at the beginning of the video. Also, now you can turn off the TV with the remote, and this is new. But, you cannot turn it back on with the remote. I like to watch the video on both my phone and TV simultaneously so if I miss anything I can watch that part again and the TV just continues. I do not like the new and not improved Roku Remote!

The remote resets the television every time you leave the app and have to come back. There's a ton of ads for absolutely no reason. this is not a good remote app. *update post response* why would I purchase your app when the remote still resets the TV every time you leave it.... and other apps... like the one I switched too, manage not to give you an ad every time you change the volume. tuh.

No! I saw over 4stars, but I'm convinced it's lies. I used the 3day free trial. It worked well,so I went on and purchased for the month. Disaster! I can't turn the TV's volume, I can't power off, I can't go to apps without the purchase screen popping up. Then when I rewind, an ad pops up which makes me go back further in a show! I emailed the owners, they responded quickly, but nothing was resolved. I reached out again. No response. Im uninstalling although I paidfor the month. This app Sucks!

This app was completely useless. I hit the Hulu button, and my entire homescreen started flashing and it won't stop. If i try to go into any app, the name of the channel comes up, and freezes. I even signed up for the premium to utilize the mirror feature, and that just seemed to make it worse! It mirrored my phone for a few minutes, then that screen started freezing up too! I'm really disappointed in this app. Uninstalling immediately, and cancelling the premium.

Guys don't download!! If you need a remote go to the real roku mobile App which is free this app is not working. I want to contact them and when I press on said option through the app it just opens up an email w no email for them. It cost 24 a year and still doesn't work. I want my refund!!! When I tried to cancel before being chsrged it kept telling me no subscription is found. I will be going to the bank to file a report and get my money back😡😡😡

Awful control mechanism as a remote control, and apps like Netflix don't support keyboard or voice search making this app nearly useless. There is a lot of potential, but until the installed apps make use of it there is no reason to pay for this. The only reason I'm using it now is because I can't find my physical remote.

I plugged in a TCL TV for the first time in like 18 months. I do not know where the remote is. This app, which used to function perfectly fine last I used it demands 3.49/mo or 25.99 lifetime to do... Anything. The TV only has a navigation nipple that barely allows one to change the input & all I want to do is adjust the volume. This is how you convince someone to never buy one of your products again edit: they never got back to me & have since added more ads to their app 0/5. I've uninstalled

Could never get it to connect to my TV. I needed the remote because I couldn't find mine. You have to do all this downloading and go to this screen on your TV. I couldn't go anywhere on my TV because I had lost the remote!! Nothing but a power button on the TV. No volume buttons to move to the left or right. I'll try it on another TV but so far not happy. App isn't very user friendly in my option either
