If you lose your remote constantly like I do, you need this app. Quickly connection, it'll stay connected as long as you're on the app. Very easy to use remote. As since it's through WiFi. It's range is literally spectacular. Edit: I paid for Ad free. It's worth it and cheaper than 1 Starbucks drink and you'll use it frequently.

Had it on here less than an hour you use one of the buttons and sometimes your fast forwarding or winding and it kicks into an ad so you really can't stop it where you want this happened like three times so now I'm uninstalling it I can understand a commercial when you open the app but when you're trying to actually do something it's very frustrating

its horrible!! soon as I try to rewind it starts an add and it reminds way past where I need it to so then I have to fasrforward some and...BAMM....another add!! it's like a cat and mouse game!! I'm checking out other apps to see if the others are any better this one is just horrible!! not to mention it wont connect to my TV when my TV is off and I need it to turn it on!! what's the point?!! my advice....dont waste your time!!!!!

An update for this app popped up today after months of me using it with no issues. I updated and the interface has changed a bit and it is taking forever to find my device (smart tv). Still not connecting and I've closed it out & tried several times over. I literally just recommended this to someone last week. 👎🏽 What would have been a 4 or 5 star gets 1 star from me. If it's not broken, don't "fix" it.

This is the worst app. So many ads that you can hardly use the remote. The ads pop up whenever you press any button on the remote, and without warning, that you accidentally hit them while using the remote. Then it takes you to the ads website or to the play store. VERY annoying! Imagine having to watch an ad every time you want to use the remote for anything at all. I would give zero stars if I could

My remote ended up in a bowl of cereal milk (it's unfortunate that this is not the first time I've lost electronics to it) and this app was a lifesaver. You can't turn your TV on via the app, but that makes sense as it operates off of wifi. I haven't had any issues with it, and it's saving me from having to purchase a new remote! Highly recommend, even if it's just to mess with your roommates

Works amazingly, no glitches nor minor issues. I would definitely recommend downloading if you have a reliable phone and your screen is of the latest version,... then yes, just to have incase your 3 year old decides he wants to lose the actual remote. At least you have this to help you avoid the need to actually purchase another one. Thank you I feel like McDonalds, "I'm loving it." 😊 sincerely TheMiss's

Why put ads ads on a remote app? I was trying to forward a movie, just a little bit and an ad popped up and of course I had to watch 5 seconds of the ad just to press play. That was after having to press back because there's no warning of the upcoming ad so it reacts like you pressed on the ad to be taken to a different screen, so the time that it took me to get off the screen for whatever product the ad was for, plus the 5 second wait until you can skip the ad,I had forwarded half of the movie

The app is amazing. My remote had a dead battery. I kept forgetting to get batteries and I downloaded this app and its a life saver. And you can turn your TV on with the app if you go over to channels and click on any of the TV apps but I also have a TCL roku smart TV hopes this helps for those who forgets batteries or just lose the little remote like me.

Deleted immediately. 3 full-screen ads upon launch that just be closed individually, one of which is a full-screen video WITH SOUND that is skippable after 5 seconds. So we're talking 3 clicks and wait time before using. (And I already know it's going to continue throwing these at me randomly during use.) Just, no. Too many alternatives, some of which are way less frustrating.

This app has been wonderful since we have several roku tvs throughout our home. My son is autistic and keeping remotes has proven to be difficult. He loves to hide, play with, or destroy remotes, lol. This app is a true bargain, considering it's always available and cheaper than replacing remotes constantly per month. I do wish my wife could enjoy the premium features via a share option from my account, but she is limited to the standard version because there's no multi user option.

Had a ton of freezing and the app buttons not doing A HUGE amount of the time. Used to be flawless. I know sometimes it's user error or a one off but this was much too consistent on EVERY USE for that to be the case here. Extremely frustrating considering I've had the app since pretty much its creation and it has only been happening for the last few months. I downloaded another remote, not going to advertise because I'm not trying to take downloads away, but I haven't had ONE PROBLEM

I loved the TouchPad, since there is no haptic feedback from the phone the TouchPad made it easy to navigate menus without looking. After this new ( terrible) update your finger has to touch the exact spot on the remote for it to work, therefore making you look at the phone every damn button you need to push. Ive looked through the reviews and a lot of people feel the same, some for different reasons but it should be an indicator to go back! That was dumb, I and plenty of others loved the old

Incredibly intrusive ads, full screen with sound. To the point where it's actually difficult to use the remote. When you want to change a channel or turn down the volume, chances are that there is a full screen ad that you accidentally click and then brings you to the play store. At which point you have to close multiple screens to get back to the remote. Probably the most intrusive and worst user experience of any app I have ever tried.

Works so well and set up is sooo fast and easyI Also love how the screen does not go dark every 10 seconds while you're trying to go through stations to find a good show, it stays on for a bit which is really nice compared to other, similar apps! A few of the buttons are in different places than the original remote, but that is to be expected, it is not a problem. Five stars I highly recommend this remote!

Sometimes its extremely lag-y and seems to freeze, only to suddenly have it go through every action you attempted while it was in the middle of its technological brain fart within 1/4 - 3/4 of a second and then you usually have a pretty decent mess along with the decision as to whether its worth the time and effort to attempt to unravel it and set it right again or just start back over from the beginning. But other than that one specific and very irritating problem, I have no other complaints.

BEFORE they had ads, I would give this app 5 stars because it WAS very easy to use and fast to respond. Now when you try to use it, you're immediately forced with an ad as soon as you open the app. Then they keep coming like every 30 seconds or after every 5 clicks, the worst part is they will pop up without warning so you'll be trying to click on the remote and suddenly an ad pops up and it takes you to their website or play store. I'm just trying to use a remote, not see 3 ads every minute.

App is great, lost my remote for like 2 weeks, installed this and I didn't need a remote anymore. Well, except for on turning the TV off, that was the only problem, but I can deal with it, and I have the remote now. Plus, the TV barely gets turned off because 92% of the time, somebody's using it. Anyway, great app, works easily, and it looks just like the real remote. 👍👍

Ok, yes it works. Buttons do as they should, BUT that's IF the app stays connected to your device. And that's a big IF. Everytime you stop using the app for a few seconds it loses the connection with the roku, then you have to wait for it to reconnect, or you have to restart the app so it can recognize your device again. And you will be doing this constantly. Also, you will click on every ad cause they randomly start with no warning while your actively using the app.

The free version is the worst remote on the market. Ad infested, begging for money and reviews... Maybe the advanced features are nice, but as I never had any intention of using a paid version of this kind of software but also after such an insufferable *first five minutes* of trial in which I encountered each listed issues multiple times there no way I'd give this company money
