Worst experience ever! I don't know why I trusted this app. I sent 1000U$ to a friend in US more than two weeks ago through their express delivery mode and he has still not received the payment ( account number is correct and cross checked). I have contacted their help centre multiple times but to no help and they still investigating. On top of that they saying the transaction can't be reversed and I will not receive the refund because as per them the transaction is completed.

What a waste of time putting all my info in to set up an account and have every transaction cancelled. Tried three different payment methods and every one rejected. Jumped on Western Union and goes through on the first try. Security is one thing....failure to provide the basic service you set out to provide is another. Never use this service again.

The app is is very easy to use, fair pricing and fast. I used this app for awhile sending money to China through Alipay, but after December, all transitions were no longer went through. I tried to communicate with both side customer service, no one can give me an answer. I don't know if this is only my problem or due to China restrictions you can no longer using Alipay account receiving money from the U.S. Then I have to use another app worldremit without any problem.

I really love using Remitly, it is quick and easy. Even after recent updates the UI on my OnePlus 6T missed almost all last digits and letters and also some information has been cut out. It seems like there is no way to know like the dates for economy transfer and certain information because it is not done properly for Android. Though I do not hear problem as such in iOS. It is definitely worth the look because it completely turns you off in using the app after seeing half words. Thanks!

The app is super easy to use. As long as you get the banking details right. Messed up by 1 number the first time but the 2nd time it went through. And the customer service is pretty great too. They helped me cancel the first transaction that i messed up on. I'm really glad to have found this app because now i can support my friend and their family in another country without having to wait too long for the money to transfer over. 5☆

Use anything but Remitly! I only used it at the request of someone in Mexico. I spent an hour entering information, snapping photos of my license, and entering recipient info. After all was said and done, I was "deactivated". I have a perfect credit rating, and called to find out why.. They merely said my account was not approved. I am left with the impression that the app is merely a vehicle for collecting personal information.

I've been using Remitly for years and have nothing but positive comments. I highly recommend it to anyone who wishes to safely send money transfers internationally without having to worry about fraud or a long wait. They have two options instant tranfers paid with credit/debit cards and an economy option which you use by linking your bank account. The economy does take a few days, so only use when you have time. The app is also user friendly.

I really enjoyed using Remitly due to its easy and user-friendly interface. It has proven to be a reliable platform. However, I have noticed that the widget feature, which was extremely helpful for quickly checking the destination price, has been removed in the recent update. I genuinely miss this feature and wonder if there is any possibility of bringing it back.

The app is fast (15min at most) interface is user-friendly, easy and safe to use. Well done. There was absolutely no issue or whatsoever. They do what they say. The only reason im giving 4 stars is that there is only one option of withdrawal (only cash) I wish I could just transfer money on my credit card of the bank in which I transfer money. In that case you could just transfer money from one country's IBAN to another's credit card.

Excellent service and the best app to send money. Been using for almost 2 years now. I've tried a couple others, but always come back to Remitly. They finally added ACH and debit cards to receive money. Best customer service. Chat is often available and the reps are always helpful. I can basically manage my own transactions; cancel etc on my own. Rates are a little delayed and the Android widget doesn't have an option for different update increments. As close to perfect as it can be.

Been using this for a while and everything was going fantastic. Then one day I sent money and it showed not delivered. I contact them and they say it was canceled due to an error of bank account and to try again. I do and same thing happens. I ask to cancel and get my money back. Never got my money back so I dispute. They threaten to suspend my account unless I pay them back for a transaction that was NEVER made. I would be careful with this app. Definitely not using this again.

Installed it and the app offered a promotional exchange rate. I got all the way to the last page. When I hit the Send button, they suddenly told me that rate wasn't available to me anymore. They told me it was only available to first time users...but I WAS a first time user?? I had to contact support for them to tell me that it was removed because of some household policy regarding 3 accts attached to one address. This is extremely aggravating design. The UI needs to be better

A truly simple, affordable, and reliable money transfer app. I was very skeptical about using the app but after making several transfers ai have grown to appreciate the simplicity of using the app and especially the security and reliability of making international transfers. Big banks charge way too much to and take too long. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

The app is fairly easy to use and gives a good exchange rate, but a few things don't add up, though: The fee for sending money with economy or express is the same ($4.99. Which is kind of high, considering other apps). It should be cheaper if is going to take 6 whole days to get to the other bank. Also, they say express takes 4 hours, when in reality it takes more, almost a full day. This is very inconvenient, in case you have to send money for an emergency to a family or friend in need.

App is very easy to use, delivery is fast, reliable and secure. It's also amazing how they try to reply to each and every review posted here! One thing though, I found about 3-4 competitors that offer way much higher exchange rates (usd to php) as much as $1.30 higher! This tempted me to try other services, even if delivery is not as fast. If Remitly will be competitive in this area, surely they will be the best.

The WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ever. I've been using it for a year using it for many transactions. But recently when I had an issue (I chose Express service, supposed to be Within 4 hours as on their advertising, but turned out 5 days as the Economy service), I tried to called few times to find the answer, they Kept Putting me on Hold for more than 15mins, and when I tried to reach out to them, they just Ignored me so that I would hang up the phone myself. Tried to speak to a supervisor, no news

I'm changing my review. This application is really good, and Customer Service is exceptional. I got disconnected and they called back. There is a major flaw with the "Send Again" button. I was looking at a transaction I made the day before and the Send Again button is on the screen and it's large and really easy select. And I don't recall getting a confirmation prompt that let's you know you are sending a duplicate transaction and it processes IMMEDIATELY. MAJOR 🐛 🪲 bug

I really liked remitly at first. It was easy to use and reasonable sending fee. The recipient received transfers within minutes in their bank account, but recently there has been problems and I'm needing to contact customer service. I paid the fee, but the transfer doesn't go through right away and the status is "In Progress". So what is the point of paying $3.99 for express when it's not express?! It's very inconvenient. I need to look for a new app to send money.

I am a long time user of Remitly. I am very happy with this service, but the newest version of the App is annoying. When you are done using the App, you can't shut it off easily. I swipe up, which brings up options on every other App on my phone, except Remitly. I have to swipe down, and bring up my phone's settings options, then go to my home screen from there. This needs to be corrected, like yesterday. Hijacking People's web browser is not a path to satisfied users.

Wish I could give this app a 4.5 rating, it's nearly perfect. Any issues that come up are resolved very quickly by their staff. Sending money is very reliable as long as the receiving party doesn't have any issues on their end My only complaint with the app, is it no longer shows how much money I can send before running into the limits. Before it would show daily, monthly and 180 days in the profile section, but now that feature is completely missing. Please bring it back, very useful.
