Overall, it's a great app. Most of the clubs and activities at my school send out info through Remind, so the app is handy to have. There's no ads in the way and it's easy to use. The only down side it that there's no option to delete, archive or even hide old conversation. I still have random conversations from teachers and classmates from 2017! And since the main page of the app is the conversations, they get in the way and are really annoying. Please fix this!!! Then I'll give it 5 stars.

Remind is a great app for classroom updates, and for coordinating volunteers/ activities. It is a little clunky starting a message to a new group. Seems like the entire group (as in the group name) should be an option in contact list to send out your notice. I have to double-check to make sure I am sending a message to one person vs. a group. Messages are all in one spot now and it can be confusing. I liked it when my messages to one person were in a thread separate from a shared group.

It's a good messaging tool to help avoid important messages from getting lost in email. However its not always clear if you are responding to a group message or as an individual which can keep people from engaging on the platform. And I need better control over merging my profiles (email and phone) without having to get in touch with someone.

Since the beginning of this year, I've noticed the app is unstable and more glitchy than usual. ▪ The notifications aren't dissappearing after opening the app like they should. ▪ Messages are taking longer to send. ▪ Teachers are having issues more often with the app. I would like to see more user customization options/features in the settings. I think it would help round out the edges and give it a better balance for both devs & users. I love the communication line between teachers and parents that you've created for us. It's revolutionary; and with that said, I feel the app should be in better shape than it is. I like the weekly updates, but I'm not seeing stability, improvements, or enhancements. What's going on over there? Change in management? Something is different... Whatever it is, yall should look closer and change it back. ☼ I feel yall are going in the wrong direction. I hope you find your way back to greatness...it's were you belong.

Good app but notifications and updates are slow and sometimes don't come through at all. Occasionally will get emails from students asking why I didn't respond to a message on the app. Sometimes the message is there and sometimes not, but I won't have received a notification. I've also gotten a notification, tapped it, and when the app opens, the message isn't there so I have to close the app, reload it and try again. This does not always work, though. Good for reminders & updates when working

Getting unwanted messages. I have used this app for many years. Hiwever, Since the last week of Oct, 2021, several different people in my classes are receiving notifications that have nothing to do with them. Some are afraid to unsubscribe, as they may lose connection with my classes. I tried to go onto the REMIND HELP LINK, but when I clicked on it I got a blank page. I am afraid to unsubscribe to the unwanted messages myself...I don't want to lose connections with the people in my groups.

Easy to use and super efficient Have been using for almost 5 years. Very intuitive and very helpful for direct, secure communication between teachers and students without giving up personal information. Also allows parents to join the class, too. Love this app! Plus, if you use it from the website you can decide who receives your whole group announcement: students, parents or both.

UPDATED AGAIN: Ive reached out since October 25 and their final reply was "sorry, but I'm not going to have the answer you need" UPDATE: Since they updated Remind to demand a 4 digit verification code, I am unable to access Remind on my computers. Only my phone Remind is usable. They've been unable to address my issue so far. Hope it gets sorted out. This is a great app and is doing exactly what it was meant to do. If I have a lot of text I create a jpg with my text on it. It works beautifully.

Some teachers subscribe and never use, some never subscribe, but when it is used it makes it so much easier to stay on top of your child's assignments, and make contact with their teachers! The interface is different on each of my devices, and i don't like that, otherwise, its still great! Seems like it's getting better! Now if more parents would just respond...🤔

Update: a lot has improved, but my school also upgraded our plan, so phone calls work great and I can write long messages. Still wish I could schedule individual messages because my ADHD struggles would be made easier if I could set things up ahead of time! I have to refresh often on the browser. The phone app works well for me. - I like it. It's easy to get touch with my students. I wish I could schedule individual messages.

Decent app,but could be a LOT more intuitive and WAY less drilling around to find people and things. A few recommendations I would have: -The ability to put it on SD card, as it's not an app that's in constant use. Even though it's not a huge app, not everyone has a phone with huge on-board memory, and apps never get smaller. -The ability to delete messages. I have messages years ago and, as far as I can tell there's no way to delete it. Literally the only messaging app I've ever had do that

Excellent app and fabulous idea! My students love the fact that I can communicate quickly with them and they don't need to check email. I teach college courses so, if I need to cancel class, my students know immediately without driving all the way to the campus and wasting their time and their gas. Returning students from previous semesters always ask if I'm going to do that "text app thing" again. Have absolutely no complaints and I'm so grateful!

Update: a year+ later, reducing to two stars. Hard to figure out. Wouldn't give push notifications for ages. Just all around annoying. Only okay. It has some bugs and requires too many taps to get from place to place. I had to sign up/sign in, like, six times, then it stuck me on the "join a class" screen until I joined another class that I didn't need.

It's a fairly simple app to use. No bells and whistles, does what it says. The inability to mark things as read or clear notifications in the app is annoying. The character limit is also a hindrance. Aside from those two things, I like it. Edit: This is great for sending messages but terrible for receiving them. Often I'll get a notification that I have a message but the message will not show up. Even if I go to the message history for that person, nothing new appears.

This app is poor quality and needs to be updated. 1. It only lets you send a message containing roughly 120 characters to a large group of people, not enough to get info out. 2. When clicking specific people for an text, it'll glitch and click everything on the screen and bug out. 3. Peoples names swap with other peoples profile pictures constantly. 4. It doesn't give specific time stamps for each message, just whenever someone sends something new. Wouldn't recommend!! Would recommend BAND app

Unable to search for class by name, area or even teacher. And even when teacher sent a photo through a Remind text, I clicked the link and tried every which way to search it from that and still no luck linking up for the class. At least I'm getting the text from the teacher. But I'd like to be able to see the other photos and information. Oh well. Maybe next version.

Really great app! But, it's very annoying that you're not able to send a ton of pictures at once. I'm always bothered by the fact, that I have to click into each one and send it one at a time... Otherwise it's a great app. As a teacher, you like the ability to just send a whole bunch of pictures of an event, or just from every kid, to post them on the class chat. I'm editing this review here again at 2024 and I still feel the above-mentioned issue should be corrected ASAP Thank you again

Great app. Very useful. Unfortunately it has one huge problem that the developers seem to be completely disinterested in fixing. I'm in 10 or 12 conversations from groups that no longer exist, but I can't remove them. A quick Google search showed me that users have been complaining about this to the developers for years, only to be ignored. Seems like this would be an easy fix. Every other messaging app lets you delete entire group message threads with 2 or 3 clicks.

Could be great, too bad it doesnt remind me of anything. Ive got it on auto update so there's no excuse for the thing not to work right. So far, i have not received a single notification from this app. I have missed every single time sensitive matter that was sent by my daughter's teacher despite having told every possible notification setting in the app and on my phone to notify me.

Im not a teacher, and i do not have a class, Im just a parent, and i hate that i can not disappear or delete old messages from the app. Yes, i left the class, but the list of people and old messages still stay . Is a nightmare to have to go through 4 years' worth of conversations to get to one person because the old ones can't be deleted. Fix it . People want to be able to organize the people and messages . The app should be friendly and easy for parents, too. A NIGHTMARE.
