You can adjust the volume of rain, thunder and music individually to find the ideal combination and so encourage a deep relaxation of the mind.
You can save your compositions to play them later individually or in playlist mode, so you don't have to waste time setting sounds and volumes when you reopen the app.
You can keep the app in the background in conjunction with other apps (for listening your favorite music, play games or browse the internet).
It is also possible to set a timer and turn off the screen. At the end of the set time, the sound fades gently and the app closes by itself, so you do not have to worry about close it if you fall asleep.

The app has been overriding my volume control. Every 10-15 minutes it turns down the volume of the app all on its own. This isn't happening with any other app on my phone and it's not a volume limiter issue with my phone. For 2 nights now, it's been doing this. It's very disruptive to sleep and relaxation because it wakes me up every time the volume lowers. Between this and the way it randomly shuts off in the middle of the night, I'm about to uninstall.

The app works as intended, however it has a couple bugs. I'm rating it high because I've used the app for a few yrs, and as annoying as the ads are at bedtime when selecting the sleep timer, the skip in the loop after 38 mins, and the more recent shutting down at random after a few hrs (yes replaced my fan with app for all night white noise) the app works better than all the others. So I'll rate 5

Very good app for meditation that includes many options to be able to listen to anything that rain can land on from inside a car, on a tin roof, morning rain, ⚡ and ⛈️. The interface is laid out pretty simple and there's an option if you pay to avoid ads and you get more sounds I haven't done this so I don't know what that version is like but the free version is pretty good just how it is

Very nice app, makes falling asleep even more fun. I started using it just a week ago. I have a bit of an issue with sound control on my phone, such as trying to figure out how to change the "intensity" of the rain. I will revisit this review in a month. Right now I rate this app "4.3/5, good, worth downloading."

I listen to this app every single nite..its easy to use and I really like the fact that i can use a tmer to have it shut off automatically. It turns the sound down gradually when time is up. It doesn't just abruptly stop. Great choice of sounds. You also can let it run all nite long..with thunder if ya like!!! Try it!

This is one of the loveliest, most compelling apps I've ever used. It is all about rain. And thunder. And the sights and smells one can conjure while experiencing rain and remembering other times and other places. Each scene has somewhat different natural ingredients. In addition, you can manipulate the quality and volume of some of the sounds to make the scene your own. I have enjoyed many soothing moments with this rain maker.

This is a wonderful app. I use it all the time, for sleeping, reading, working, etc. It is extremely pleasing to the eye. I don't like all of the sound choices (some are too quiet, for example), but I think this is in the interest of providing variety. There are plenty to choose from. Of all I've listened to, only one seems to have corruption/noise in the sound file (Rain on Window). Hopefully that's an easy fix for a future release.

Lets you choose from nearly 50 storm sound profiles, from gentle to fierce, and in multiple environments. You can then tweak whichever one you choose and make it sound like softer or harder rain. Some include thunder, or you can add it if desired. If there's a better app for this experience out there, I don't much care; this one has what I needed.

My schedule fluxtuates so I needed something that helps me fall asleep. I downloaded this app and was asleep within the first 5 minites. I've played around with it some. I love all the options you get to use, from different rain profiles, being able to adjust the intensity of the thunder,and even adding soothing music. It's highly recommended for anyone that needs white noise to fall asleep.

Just downloaded this about 20 mins ago, I'm already in love with the app. Easy to use, huge variety, wonderfully serene. One of the rare few apps where I'm pretty much completely happy with it without having to pay for upgrades. My only recommendation would be to add an option with light rain/wind/beach waves!! Also love that you can switch apps or turn off the screen and the sound stays on (unlike YouTube 🙄) I absolutely recommend. Big thank you to the creators!

I love this app, but it's been having some major issues within the past month or so. Most notably, it cuts out in the middle of the night, waking me up, (error message: "no service running, please contact the developer), and the volume randomly decreases by about half while playing. I uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. Please help!

This app is absolutely amazing!!! It has so many options on rain:thunder, birds, light, hard, rainforest! So many it's awesome it will play until morning because you WILL wake up hearing rain from your phone! Down load now!!! Will definitely recommend. The only parts that are semi annoying is that you need to pay to favorite sounds. But honestly it doesn't bother me! (Also very simple to use)

I like everything about this app. A big variety of sounds and music. Actually, the many different rain sounds are particularly beautiful. Much more so than other apps I have heard. Also, a lot of lovely photos showing the rain, gently coming down to the rain, turning into a torrential downpour. I can see a lot of time and thought was put into the creation of this app. I can not believe how soothing this app is for my ability to fall asleep. I like some thunder and soft piano music together

I had a Galaxy S8 and I used to love this app, but I upgraded to a Galaxy S22 and now if I'm in airplane mode (and I primarily use the app while on planes), I can't open the app! I'm experimenting to see if I open the app before the plane takes off, and then put my phone in airplane mode, will it work (it seems to, at least for a time), but if I accidentally close the app mid-flight, I'm screwed. No more rain sound. So, that's very annoying.

I use this app religiously every night but it is infuriating. Sometimes it will stay on all night sometimes it won't but I wake up every time it turns off I have been on other apps and unfortunately I can't find one that has the right sound combination that puts me to sleep like this one does. But then this one turns around and wakes me up constantly by shutting itself off I have all of the settings changed it does not have any power saving or anything like that it has all of the rights to run

I dropped 2 stars_ maybe review and remix the sounds, I hear unpleasant and distracting noises on several of the tracks. It sounds like a woman grunting, possibly moaning. A few others have whispers sounds in the background, the name Jess, Steph, or similar are noticeable. It's really annoying on the loops. Sizzling sounds, other off noises that are annoying.

I love this app. The rain sounds realistic, unlike some other apps. It's a nice steady sound, no pauses or fade-in and out, and you can add in thunder. There are multiple settings that are super easy to use, and you can adjust the volume to your liking. I use the timer function set at 45 min and am sleeping every time before it shuts off.

I really enjoy this app. I go to sleep every night with it. So glad I found it. ☺️ I am having a problem. Somehow my play button is messed up. When I try the play ▶️, I get the square button, so it doesn't automatically shut off at the time set. I don't know what I did, but I really need help 😫. I'm not going to delete the app, as I really like it. Please let me know what I can do. Thank you 😊.

This app will play all night, helps drown out noises, and gets you to sleep quicker. We had a hotel stay. This app was purchased due to noisy neighbors above us. It worked great. Even though we were awakened a couple of times, we went right back to sleep. It's worth the money. Just rain sounds, but it works. I am so glad I bought it. I've been using it every night since. Very easy to use.

Sound could be a little more crisp and perhaps have a higher than the highest volume setting. But, it's pretty darn realistic and a really great app! Choices and variations are great! This app turned out to be a fabulous and effective solution for drowning out the roar of our local street racers all night. I had tried everything from earplugs to sound proofing curtains to covering windows with sound proof material (what a pain!) to the police dept. THIS WORKS! Sleep again! FINALLY! THANK YOU!!!!
