I have had this app from the beginning and it was awesome. Now it is not working properly. I have had to reset my fingerprint login four times after waiting a period of time. Sadly, I think I am going to finally have to let this app go. I also do not get text notifications when using my card. I am not sure if these are glitches on Regions' end or not.

I've been with Regions Bank now for about 10 years and have enjoyed my experience the entire time. I appreciate how they continue to evolve, always in line with offerings you'd see at large, national banks (mobile deposits, payments, etc.), but they haven't lost touch with in person banking, so if that's what you prefer, you'll find they haven't compromised any service for technology. The app is sleek, simple to navigate, and meets all my needs. Love the app and love banking with Regions!

Not sure what's going on but it's been a few days now that i have no access to my account. I can't deposit, transfer, or even check my balance anymore. I've red other people getting it fixed but I've deleted the app, restarted my phone, and downloaded the newest available version for me and nothing. I currently have a Samsung Galaxy S9+ and can't access anything. Can you at least revert to an older version do i can use this again while you guys figure it out. It's very annoying and inconvenient.

UPDATE:03.18.21 I am getting tired of having to enter my password twice. After the 2nd time I stop because I don't want to get locked out. I am on a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and the regions app is up do date. Last week I had the same issue so I uninstalled and reinstalled. I'm uncomfortable with so many permissions. UPDATE 05.14.18 I type in my login info and click login. Absolutely NOTHING happens sometimes. Not even the little circle that shows it's doing something. Please fix this! Thank you

The issue of not being able to log in has lasted a few weeks now. Won't go beyond entering a username and password. Update: it's been over a month now that can't login. The app will tell you if you've entered a wrong username or password but if you enter it correctly it just freezes. How is this not corrected? If you had a previously working build the logical troubleshooting would be to go back to that version before the issues! What on earth was changed that is taking this long to debug?

The app worked just fine for years. Now when I enter my info and hit log in, the boxes with my info in them go blank, the app freezes and I can't fix it. I even tried uninstalling it. This seems to be an issue with many people. The response is to put in a ticket online. I'll pass on that, moving my money to a bank who's app actually works or will fix it ASAP.

I deleted my review from 2018, and decided to make a new one. It is a frustrating app that doesn't often work, you have log period log in issues, it has bugs to where it doesn't show you the correct balance from time to time and you have to drive to a bank to get the proper amount or suffer from overdrawing even after trying to budget your stuff. It was two stars before now it's just one. It's too annoying but I have to unfortunately make use of it.

Was great before, but seemingly since the last Android update, mobile deposit is now impossible using the auto-capture feature, as the camera is highly distorted when trying to capture the reverse side of the check. Using manual mode, the problem still exists but is not as severe; thus with enough persistence and patience, you can eventually get a successful capture.

Can we please have the old app back?!!!! If it were possible to give this new version 0 stars I would. Most of the time it won't let me log in, it just freezes. When I can log in and try to do a transfer, it freezes. Previous version worked flawlessly for me and I do not have issues with any other apps, so it is not my phone. Uninstalled and reinstalled and still have the same issues. Regions needs to recall this version and use the previous one until they get the bugs worked out.

Mobile deposit is a pain now. I've never had an issue with it and have deposited this way many times. Now, no matter how many times I retake a picture I keep getting different error codes saying that my picture isn't well lit or blurry. No matter how many different dark backgrounds and lighting I try I cannot get it to go through. Reading through the reviews, it seems I'm not the only one with this issue. I love regions but this is frustrating. I hope it gets fixed very quickly.

Old app was superb and worked very fast. You can't even make transfers with the new app. You hit the 'choose account to transfer from' button, a minute later (literally) the options pop up, same thing happens with the other options. It took me 10 minutes to make 3 transfers, something I could have done in under 30 seconds on the old app.

The mobile deposit is horrible! I understand that the app/automated system may not be able to read some hand writings on checks, but I have used other banks where if the app was unable to read it, it placed the pictures "in review" and had a person look at it to verify. With this one, if the system can not read it, it only allows you to retake the picture over and over multiple times with no success. This happens on almost all checks I try to deposit.

It worked just fine in the past, but now it's getting to the point where dang near every evening I can't get into it! Completely inconviencing me. That's not cool when I have to leave my items in the store because the app is acting up and I cant unlock my card. Ridiculous. I understand a mishap here and there but several times a week is not it! I tried re-installing app. I tried restarting and updating. Its the App and im highly annoyed.

Something is wrong with this app. Up until about 2 weeks ago, it was fine. Now, I can't log in; the app freezes after entering my correct username and password, then times out. I've contacted Regions and they basically have no idea what's going on. Sure do hope there's no hacking going on. UPDATE: 5/30/22 This app is completely useless to me and I might as well delete it. Most recent reviews seem to mirror my experience. I hope Regions will correct the problem soon. No reason to keep the app.

Issue fixed. Updated rating. Thank you. For clarity on my rating, I have been a consistent user of the app for several years. I would have otherwise given five stars if there had not been trouble with the latest version (12/14/2018). I have not been able to even get to the login screen. It is in constant buffer mode once the app is selected.

The app used to work. And then all of a sudden it never allowed me to login. I uninstalled the app and turned my phone off and then reinstalled the app and it still wouldn't allow me to login. I can't get to help menu. **Update** Regions contacted me and made the necessary updates to the app. Everything is working again. Change from 2 stars to 5 stars.

I have downloaded the Regions app at least 10 different times on 3 different android phones over the past 18 months and have never even had it open for me. It's not a big deal for me as i can use the mobile banking tool on the website, but using the app would definitely be more convenient. I read this latest update and thought the issue was fixed; so I gave it one more try. Surprise, surprise, surprise...no, the little wheel just keeps on turning, and the app never opens.

The new version is an improvement, but refuses to close. Update - So now the app closes properly, but making mobile deposits with it is a nightmare. It snaps the picture while I'm trying to center the check in the frame and always takes multiple attempts to get it to work. Then, after I've gone through all the steps, I get "cannot complete at this time." If it wasn't for the free checking I would change banks just because this app keeps getting worse.

(9/3/2023) This app just DOES NOT WORK. It works on my iphone flawlessly but on several different android devices it absolutely will not let me log in. It's been over a year of it not working without a solution. Very aggravating. ***(4/27/2024) 7 months and another phone later and I still CANNOT log in. Still works on iOS and through the web browser just fine so it doesn't seem to be an account issue. Pretty unbelievable that I'm still having this problem after several years.

90% of the time that I need to use this app, it doesn't work accurately. Since two days ago, every time I have attempted to open the app, a screen pops up, showing the app's logo. Then, nothing happens. There is no error message, no loading indicator signage; and alas, the log-in screen never appears. I have cleared the app's cache twice and have undownloaded to re-download, hoping for a fix. To no avail, of course. This app doesn't function at all now. If I could give it ZERO stars, I would!!
