Very handy and time saving phone app. I've been a member at RFCU since 1967, and my only complaint is that every time I ask for a loan, they give it to me! I always feel like members come first at RFCU. . Sep 25, 2025 Update: No change to the above ('cept I keep getting older every year!)

I still have a bug that doesn't allow me to view all of my accounts on the accounts page after I do any action that takes me off that page. I have to log out and back in. Besides that, it's an okay app

it looks like I only post reviews when they break things. the last update introduced a really nasty bug. I can no longer exit the app from the login screen. My back gesture does nothing. I can't believe they released. this app was such an obvious bug. they also made other changes to the interface that I find annoying, but I can live with those. not exiting the app is not acceptable.

When it works, it works great but for some reason it logged me out and will not let me log back in. I tried the password reset option and it locked me out of that too and told me to call the local branch, this is especially inconvenient since it is a Saturday and the bank is not open. I understand security, I do, but when your app logs me out and then tells me the password your system calls and gives me is incorrect and locks me out of that option too, it is really infuriating.

The app seems to decide willy-nilly whether to let you know the correct balance when there are pending transactions. Also, I changed my account address over a year ago and then a few months ago my debit card stopped working, but my husband's is fine. I chatted with an agent who stated that we have 2 app profiles and the address was only updated for one. He further stated that my zip code has been wrong for my debit card this whole time, which is NOT true since I used it regularly. Leaving.

It's a good app, but I have had a few times when I couldn't get my account balances. It always seemed to be when I was shopping and needed that information to avoid overdrafts or having to use funds from other locations that really needed to stay in place where they were. So I've sometimes had to leave off buying certain items and burn extra gas later to go get them.

Update - Recent issues: App consistently logs me out and forgets all information. Usually not a big deal - just log back in. Except the last 3 times I've attempted to login I've had horrible issues with the "call me" to confirm login. The text or email a code does not work through the app either. I've had to rely only on the website to check balances recently. The app is really bad. Plan on dropping Redstone for everyday debit card use. Redstone has good rates for a savings account though.

What happened to the app, it is giving me an authentication error when using my fingerprint at login and an application error when entering my username and password at login? This app once worked great on my Samsung Galaxy S9 plus. I was able to check all my accounts, pay bills and make transfers. I have used it for over 6 year with no problems until 2 updates ago. I was also able to see my balances on other accounts like my credit cards. I can also setup reminders and schedule payments.

This used to be an easy to use and helpful app. Now check deposits have become ridiculous. This process on the app alone makes me consider switching to a new financial institution. It's only beneficial if it's useful, and this newest update is anything but. Add to it that they like to freeze your debit card every year on Black Friday & whenever you go on vacation... :-/ The most positive thing they have going for them is incredibly friendly & helpful employees.

Changing my earlier 5-star rating to a one-star. Seems RFCU decided to orphan my Samsung Galaxy S5 running Android 6 by making Android 7 the minimum requirement. I had no problems using what must have been an earlier version (no longer available), but was forced to reload all apps when my venerable old phone ran into an SD card problem. Now I'm confronted with "your device is not compatible." This had been arguably my one most used app. Now, nothing. Quite frustrating.

So I keep getting notifications from them to review the app and I always ignore it. So after a frustrating day with it, here it goes. When it's actually working, it's pretty handy. The problem is that you have to cross your fingers that it's actually working. There is no warning or heads up. It's just "We are experiencing technical difficulties". I get it... it happens. But for an entire day and no solution or further explanation? I think communication is a huge flaw with both the bank and app.

This is the worst bank I ever ever used! CONSTANTLY locking my card over purchases I make. I've had to get 4 new cards in the past 6 months because of this ridiculous system they use. I have never in my life had a bank call me or lock my card multiple times per month like this! I asked them to stop 6 times already and they dont. It makes my life so much more difficult! Closing my account!!!!

Perfect for checking my account & making transfers! I would give 5 stars, but the fingerprint login doesn't always work. sometimes my fingerprint is recognized & sometimes its not. I think the problem is when the app first scans your fingerprint, it only scans one image. If the app scanned multiple images from different finger positions this problem probably wouldn't happen.

Best Banking experience I've ever had, period. I have access to my payroll days early if needed. Their banking app is full featured over the top. I can access loans and credit scores directly on the app. I can withdrawal odd cash amounts from the local ATMs. No one else comes close. Truly, Redstone Federal Credit Union is banking the way it should be in 2024.

Worst app/credit union I have ever dealt with. It's almost impossible to make a payment the over the phone option forces you to type out your banking information so I can't switch apps to get/add the bank. This stupid app is glitchy and doesn't let you add another bank account to pay from. It will let you link them but before it finalized it says "continue" "redirecting" then glitches back to continue on an endless cycle. I had to use my desktop to pay the bill which was late. Payed and done.

I really like the RSA app overall. The good: easy access to "You Name It Savings Accounts", easy ability to modify and create recurring transactions, simple interface for 90% of daily tasks. Improvements I'd like to see: add external accounts to bottom of "Accounts" view, add "i" icon to checking account squares that can be clicked to retrieve "Routing number", "ACH number", etc., allow users to schedule transactions based on events like " Payroll" and not just schedule times.

it's been fine up until now. It keeps denying my password (the exact password was working a few days ago, the 365 days havent passed yet when I need to change it) and it won't let me reset it. I've been trying for 45 minutes and it keeps saying a feature was disabled and that's why I can't get the correct number to change my password?? and the 3 separate numbers I did get all gave me the same automated messages and hasn't helped me at all.

*Update* app constantly will not let me log in. Password is correct. Useless since I can't even get in Original: I have more than one bank and I have to say I like this app best. Transfers are easy and quick and show up almost immediately. Also a great way to keep up with a pay my redstone credit card quickly and easily with just a direct transfer!

Times out constantly. Periodically stops allowing you to log in using fingerprint, forces to use password, then gives error message about not being able to connect. Remote deposit constantly glitches and doesn't recognize checks. Displays error message "please try again later" and continues to time out. All of this wouldn't be such a big deal if it didn't seem to happen every few weeks.

Is a fairly good app, pretty much everything you need is there. My only problem with it and therefore the reason for only 4 stars, is that the system seems to be down ALOT. Seems like most of the time when I'm really needing to check my account for something it will come up with a system unavailable right now or something to that effect. Wouldn't be bad, and would even be to be expected, except that it happens frequently....VERY annoying !!
