This is the difinitive expense tracking app! Not only can you link your bank account to automatically catch expenses, but you can scan receipts to organize and itemize as well. This clean and easy to use platform helps even the most disorganized individuals (myself), see an island oasis amid the sea of paperwork! Worth every cent and more! Dare I say, INVALUABLE! kudos to the developer(s)!

First few scans look amazing. The OCR is exactly what I was after. Not only was the app 90% accurate (save for a few misidentified numbers that could easily be rectified) but it nearly always identified the type of vendor, the receipt type, and the purchase date. It's also amazing that it can export to an itemized report for easy use in other tools. Five stars!

Great app but painfully slow. After a transaction has been assigned to its category it fails to update immediately. When trying to move on to the next transaction it fails to load immediately and I end up pressing the screen 5 to 10 times without anything happening. Pretty big annoyance. Tried clearing cache but does not help. 4 stars if you fix the issues. 5 stars if you allow us to select multiple transactions and assign them to a single category.

Great App - needed a simply way to track and categorize household expenses. I have the ability to delete any and all transactions linked to my bank account that I don't care to track such as transfers between accounts. Only thing I would change is bulk editing. Some transactions from my bank account automatically defaulted to transfer or service it would be nice to be able to select multiple transactions from the same vendor and categorize once.

EDIT: The latest update has caused weird errors with dates. In my list it displays items in an unordered fashion, with some items showing as "Sun, Jan, 0th" Doesn't effect function, but I did prefer how the previous version separated the dates. --- My only complain is that there doesn't appear to be a web interface to generate more detailed reports for things like quicken. Otherwise, I'm impressed.

Where are the photos of the receipts stored on my phone? I would like to be able to quickly view them or share them outside of thr app. So far i am only seeing an export option for data to send to my email. If my photos are not stored locally for quick access then i might need to find another app. Edit: Thanks, but no pop up when i click advanced options images under excel. It only emails me a link to download the data.

My original rating was a one star. They advertised it as free and then popped up a price after about a week. However you could choose your own price so it was still free. I used the app for about a year with minimal issues. Now there was an update and it's not free at all anymore. I don't mind paying, but a company that advertises as a free app should stay free.

I was a little frustrated that I got about 6 items scanned or "processed" if you will, & it required a subscription on the buisness side of things to go any further. I contacted customer support, and had explained that I'm now homeless & jobless due to this covid BS & expecting less help than I've gotten from any government agency, was extremely surprised to see that the developer team or customer service actually helped! I don't want to say how much they helped, but you'd be surprised. TY team

Smart capture is pretty handy. I'm using it to keep track of my materials purchases for projects. The report function let's me have it broken down and totals, which is great! Cons: it's common for me to have to check the totals and the date, i often need to reenter the accurate info. But! I found this to be the case on any smart capture software. I do like this and it's powerful enough for my needs. I recommend it highly

It is pretty good overall. It always seems to get the total of a receipt correct, but sometimes I have to enter tax manually (which is mainly what I started using it to track). It seems to have difficulty with tax when it's labeled as food tax due to a different rate or with digital receipts, possibly due to it not being next to the total.

I like how it detects and scans a receipt just showing it to the camera, and crops automatically, but it sometimes mistakes the tax for the total and might mistake the month for the day of the week. So you really need to verify every receipt before you save, which to me. I couldn't find a way to add tags and categories, which to me is a must in order to sort expenses into groups for reports. I experienced the few bugs using my new Samsung s23. monthly subscription is $7. App needs improvement.

I find it very easy to use, the smart capture option js really accurate, but I have just one complaint. When using the website, it gives you the option to import a CSV file and bulk import expenses. However, that feature doesn't work, so I spent all this time formatting everything correctly so it would go through and it still did not work. That's the only thing keeping it from being a 5-Star product.

Even with the receipt scanner still in beta, (just hit the shutter button and don't wait for the app to take the pic.) this app is amazing! Super simple to use and intuitive. Ands it's pretty damn accurate too, only had one or two receipts not read the amount properly. Love how it picks out taxes and the card that you use! Keep up the good work, will definitely getting a subscription

Giving it a try. I have been looking for a scanner for receipts but haven't found one I liked yet. This one is doing well so far after a few hours use. It is free but after a few scans they ask for some money. You can make it $0. If I like it and keep using it I will consider paying. It does usually get the date and amount correct but always double check. It also starts to recognize receipts and fills in the merchant.

I've been wanting a good receipt recording app for a while, but this is not The One unfortunately 🙁 .. when I first started it the camera image was upside down (excuse me???) and out of focus with NO focus control .. the developers give themselves too much credit on being able to completely automate image capture--just call the built-in camera app, F*S .. Wound up taking a (right side up and in focus) picture and the OCR did appear to be quite accurate .. capturing the total (sigh) ..

I'm adding to this review because this is a GREAT ap. I've been looking for exactly this type of solution for months. Other services offer so many duplicates to what I already have via Square, etc., and cost a ton to obtain the big piece for me - receipt scanning, and the option to create and download or share those expenses with my accountant. Super affordable, great interface, and the scanner is very accurate. Love it. Big fan!

So far, it's the best. I just started using the app and I've tried at least 8 or 9 other apps . This was the only one the had a reasonable accurate scan for dollars and vendor. It allows for notes on each transaction and to assign each to a report. I've set up a report for each category I want to track. Most other apps limits the scans and takes a long time to scan. This app is also multi platforms with web app and am apple version. I will definitely buy a subscription if it continues to impress

I found this app useless and a waste of my time. The scanner camera is unable to read some receipt styles, when I try to scroll down the list of expenses, the slider bounces back not letting me see the last items. You cant delete an item but only archive it which means its never deleted. The report generator exports only as excel, not pdf and it comes with missing elements. Too many problems. Their response to reviews means they are willing to improve. I will look at it again in the future.

It was absolutely fantastic for about a month. Easy way for me to store my receipts and track my milage to and from work. But today as I was inputting all my receipts and miles from this past week, it did the annoying thing asking me to subscribe to the app. I don't need all the cool and extra features so I dont get it. But I cant add anymore expenses of miles in until I pay for a subscription. For a "FREE" app, it got pretty expensive pretty quick.

This is a train wreck. The interface is a mess. It never reads the date correctly, and it often reads the transaction amount incorrectly, so you need to manually edit every scan. A subscription for software like this is a hard sell in the first place. Then to ask for a subscription for something that doesn't work is absurd. Then to ask $70 for a subscription is insane.
