Rec Room - Play with friends!

Galaxy S10+ Rec Room runs buttery smooth, 60+ FPS, no lag and loads up extremely fast (gigabit wifi on Verizon FIOS). This is with the graphics settings in game set to max quality. Only negatives I found so far: 1. Polygons and maker pen objects such as spheres are truncated (look blocky) compared with PC VR on the Index and Rift CV1. The Android truncated graphics are identical to iOS and Quest2. Please allow an optional button to enable the same graphics as PC for the Galaxy S10+ and devices like it that have 12GB of RAM and a fast GPU. 2. Neon painted maker pen objects have no glow around them. This is the same bug on all iOS devices and Quest 2. 3. Quality of maker pen lights is poor and only visible up close. This is the same bug on all iOS devices and Quest 2. 4. I'm not yet used to the controls on a phone, so navigating and interacting with objects is not as easy or intuitive as it is in PC VR on the Index and Rift CV1. This will probably be less of a problem for me over time with experience. And maybe if I use a controller instead of the touch screen. So the top 3 problems I had could easily be resolved by adding toggle buttons to enable PC VR quality graphics for better polygons, enabling neon glow, and better lighting. If enabling all 3 options will cripple some weaker devices, then make these 3 quality settings into individual sliders. Then the user can slide each one individually to see which one impacts their device and optimize the balance between graphics quality and performance. Including an FPS meter and CPU/GPU usage graph as 3 more toggle buttons in the options would greatly improve the ability of end users to determine the best settings for their particular device. Also, I only see the requirement of Android 7. A friend tried to find it in the app store and could not find it yet, even though he has an Android 8 device. I assume it is not released for the public yet? Thank you Rec Room for bringing this awesome app to Android! I am sure there are thousands or maybe millions of others who appreciate this!

I find RecRoom to be an incredibly enjoyable game overall. However, there is one persistent issue that has been bothering me since I first downloaded it. After playing for a couple of minutes, the entire game suddenly goes mute without any apparent reason. This forces me to exit the game and then come back in order to restore sound, but unfortunately, this becomes a recurring cycle. It would greatly enhance my gaming experience if you could kindly address and resolve this issue. Thank you! :P

This game is honestly amazing. Its cross platforms and supports most things, the only issues is that it glitches out every now and then but it doesn't really effect the amazing gameplay, and sometimes, like many other games, it doesn't have the best fan base but there are lots of friendly players and its easy to make friends. It also has hundreds of player made games, so its difficult to run out of games.

I love recroom and I think it's amazing but I just got two problems with it. First, the game freezes for a second and the audio cut off and doesn't play the audio so I have to leave the app and join back to the game just for it to keep happening over and over again it's really annoying. Last this happens sometimes when I try to play a map mostly a rr original, I try playing the game, but it kicks me out of the app so please fix this

I love the game, only issue is it lags and freezes and then my audio is completely cut out and I can't hear anything, it happens after 7 minutes of playing, so I have to close the game and reopen it, can't really play it with this problem coming up every time, I'd be more than willing to add another 2 stars but with the freezing and lagging and then no audio. I can't play the game without this problem happening whenever I try

I really really like this game. It's super super fun and I recommend it to everyone I know. But ever since the new update there's been a lot of glitches with paintball and lazer tag. I thought it was just my device since I'm on mobile, but a lot of my Vr friends have been experiencing crashing and same glitches that I do. So yeah. Overall, great game. But PLEASE fix the paintball and lazertag glitches.

Rec room isn't a bad game, definitely suggest trying it out for yourself. There's many games to choose from, not to mention you can make your own for free, but it is a bit laggy sometimes (Maybe it's cuz I just play on phone) But yeah, the creator thing is a but difficult to figure out, like jump scares and all that but in general it's a really good game. Unfortunately it doesn't really catch my attention all that well but it's fun and keeps me interested for a game or 2 my own. 4 ⭐

Yeah, I can agree. Rec Room is a pretty mediocre game to play on your phone from time to time. But if you have other devices other from your phone, I suggest that you should play on those devices, due to this issue that some people like me properly have experienced. The issue is that if you are even REMOTELY tight on storage, over time the game will crash and crash more often, sending you completely out of the game. Which gets very annoying since this game takes up so much storage.

I really like this game! It's super fun! There's only one issue I have with it though and that's to do with the amount of lag for mobile devices in more populated and intense rooms, and the lack of available options to counteract this issue. Sure, there may be low and high graphics options, but I think there should be more advanced and personalized options such as being able to disable shadows, bloom, anti-aliasing, lowering the number of rendered polygons, etc. Other than that, I love it! 🙂👍

really awesome, been wanting to play this game but never had a vr set. it's really well done to fit mobile screens. 1 thing I would like to say, is having the option to change around where the buttons are, so I can do some actions at the same time. I have some difficulty throwing objects or playing paintball (throwing/shooting while aiming at the same time.) otherwise it's an awesome game and there is more than enough rooms to play in that doesn't require a layout change.

I absolutely LOVE Rec Room i have been playing on vr for awhile so the phone version is great when you can't access vr. The positives of this port are the controls are pretty good for a mobile game, The graphics look nice and almost everything can be accessed. The things I don't like are that when I turn my phone of (or it turns of itself) there's a good chance that it will kick you out of the game when you try to return.

Love the game, super fun to play. New error, My audio keeps breaking. I'm just playin then suddenly I can't hear nothin and my mic isn't workin, have to restart to fix it and I only get Abt 5-10 min before it breaks again. Would definitely recommend for people trying to make friends or have a cool way to play with friends online. It's basically a mobile VR chat so, that's cool!

This game is amazing. I have played it for years, never had many problems. However, lately my Rec Room hasn't been loading. Not on any of my devices. It is always stuck at the loading screen when you first open it. I've checked wifi, I've uninstalled and reinstalled SEVERAL times, and even googled it to try more things. Nothing has worked. I will change my review once it has been fixed.

It's fun, I mean. It's Rec Room. Few issues I see though.(mostly Audio) Audio intake likes to cut out, A lot. which means closing the game and reopening it to hear anything. The mic picks up, pretty much the smallest noise. Which is difficult when others can hear every time you move a finger. Last thing is the loading time. I get it's unavoidable, but if there was a way to make it at least a little faster, it would help on games that load a couple different rooms. That's all I can say, Thanks!

I love the game, it's kind of hard to get tokens but aside that it's fun to play the different experiences. The people can be rude sometimes but I also like the fact most of them are good sports. I also like how we can create clubs, games, and inventions. I love the daily challenges and the weekly. I like the updates added and all the new things! But the reason for 3 stars is because of the glitches and how laggy it can get. It takes up a bunch of storage but I love playing it.

AN AMAZING APP!!! but there's some issues when it comes to having it on your phone. These issues include bugs, glitiching more, and everything you have to update it, the game takes up sooooo much space! I just had to delete 30+ different apps off of my phone simply for an update. THATS OUTRAGEOUS! Other than that, however, the game is overall amazing, especially more so on VR.

I really love the app itself! I find it amazing that I can do what I want and find amazing people! I do have one issue with it and it might just be me but, when I'm on mobile I have trouble reading the things when I go to a new room. And also it's not that accessible for visually impaired and hard or hearing or fully deaf people. If that can possibly be improved I would be most grateful and then give this a 5 star review! But besides all that I love it!!
