Crazy bugs! The app is getting into an infinite loop frenzy trying to launch home page after a cancelled call. Force closing doesn't work, for some reason. Have to force stop from settings all the time. I was never a fan of how the dashboard refreshed slowly after a call, making me tap the wrong item if i were calling a second number right away.

I have been using this app for a while making international phone calls. I give this company a tumb up. It's reliable and does not take any money away from your remaining credit or balance. Remaining balance or credit does not depreciate even if you come back in a months time. Conversation to my contacts are always clear to hear and no problems at all. This is very reliable. I recommend this company for everyone who want to make an international phone calls. Just try it and witness it yourself.

Used for 8yrs. Really impressed. I've tried various traditional calling cards, direct dial and services like tango, viber, but this is honestly the best. The calls I make from Singapore to the UK and USA (about as long distance as you can get) connect instantly and have super clear call quality with absolutely no delay. App is intuitive and simple. Site details all calls made. 1c/min calls to UK (1.5c/min to USA) from SG - doesn't get better value for money.

Call quality and service is usually top notch. The app itself used to be good. But after updating to Android Pie, it doesn't kill the call process. You have to manually kill the app. What used to be a minor inconvenience, is almost a deal breaker now. Hopefully they did it out I'll have to look for another app to make international calls.

It doesn't work! When I first used this app, it worked great. Dropped my phone in the water, and purchased a temporary phone. I tried to register my number and it said it cannot connect to the server. I tried hours later same thing. I eventually got a new phone and tried again, and same error message. Now, months later, I'm trying again and same error message. I have data, I'm connected to wifi. I've tried with various phones, countries, providers, connections. I always get the same error message, "cannot connect to server.

It's been over 6 months and this app is still unusable. It just crashes after login and sends a notification to login again. Thank goodness I'm on the top-up plan and not subscription. update: The issue is with Android OS and not Rebtel. Android blocks app permissions if it's not been used in a while. I went to app info, reinstated permissions then cleared the cache under storage. It's all good now.

So the good part is the rates are too good and call quality is decent. No issues there. But, the app experience is degraded over time, the size of the app tripled over time and its slow nsluggish now. I uninstalled and went back to 2017 version its lite and works much faster. Plz, its a calling app, plz Don't make it complicated, keep it simple and lite.

Wow. This app is a deal-breaker. I could not just believe how smooth it was when I was testing it out. Also, it's very cheap compared to the local telcos' rates. Though, it's missing three features: time of call and duration of the call in the call history as well as call recording functionality. Kudos. Downside is that it's not working with all the telcos but MTN and Glo in the case of Nigeria 🇳🇬. I expect more henceforth. Expand to other networks so nobody will be left out or denied.

This app is seriously pissing me off. I've had this app for two years and this issue has been annoying me ever since. Why is it that everytime I try to call internationally, I always get a "line is busy" message through land line calling and "can't initiate call" message through wifi calling. I've changed my access points and it's still not working. To top this off, everytime I select a contact to call, I have to retype the number. Paying to use an app you'd expect it to atleast work properly.

Update: It is now another two years later, and still - Rebtel provides the clearest, most beautiful calls - and the easiest app in the world, to use! Thank you. Rebtel is fantastic, have used it for years. At first, the online site was better than the app, but now the app is also superb. Call anyone, anywhere for next to nothing. Clear, perfect voice calls. Thank you for being a world leader in this, Rebtel.

Tested and installed on my mother's phone for a trip outside of the US. She has free Wi-Fi onboard ship, and with all calls to the US free over Wi-Fi, this sounded like a great option. It is! As a cruise planner who is often onboard and away from home, she always had to temporarily add an international option to her plan. Rates were outrageous and she was always rushed. Now she doesn't have to worry about it. This app does exactly what it says, and if you are placing Wi-Fi calls to the US... There is no better choice.

I had a little trouble, at first, getting the sense of what to do placing a call. Since then, and over the past 6+ months, |I have had a flawless experience. Very clear calls, almost never dropped. Much better than my usual mobile call experience. I am very impressed, and the bonus was that these months were without any cost. I am very willing to take on a monthly fee for use! Amazing service. The app is easy to use, great option is it allows you to deactivate your plans. But the global unlimited plan only works with WiFi or mobile data and its very unreliable. Even when on a good WiFi or 4g signal calls fail to go through, even if they did they drop half way through or have poor audio quality issues. This is on the latest version of the app.

Awesome app! I call my family in Italy and the calls are super clear, the connection is great and the monthly price is unbeatable! I am a Rebtel customer for life!!!! I highly recommend it for international calls. 11/10/2019 Thank you for fixing the dropped calls problem I recently had! I am super happy with the work you have done and with the clarity of the calls. Keep up the great job! This IS still the best international calling app out there.

Don't understand why the update hasn't fixed the issues. I call my mother at least once a week, or much more often, and every single time we talk, after about 5 mins, the call cuts off but it is still counting seconds, and the whole entire conversation, my side and the others side, has been recorded and begins to replay from the beginning. Really really odd. I have up to hang up and recall, and it always does it again. Isn't that a privacy issue, the fact that rebtel records the conversations?

I have been a rebtel customer for long. I even have auto-charge. But about 3 weeks ago, the app started behaving funny. It does not complete calls. It just says session progress bit no rington and does not dial. Really frustrating especially when they have your money. In cases where I have been lucky to call, the number disconnects after a few minutes or the connection is poor. In some instances ( since last year) I had cross-calls where I call one number, I end up hearing from another person.

Every time I'm done with a call my audio doesn't work. I don't know why. I know it's from the app Because when I receive calls on my line I have no problem. But when I call with rebtel my audio completely shuts down and then I'd have to go into device maintenance to shut it down. Its really annoying. So many problems with this app. I wonder what went wrong.. I've used this app for about 5 years but now... I can't even make a call without so many issues.

This App used to be the best but now it is so hard to use. It does not have menu any more. To find the contacts list is an uphill battle. The local numbers that it generated to make international calls cheap, no longer work. I don't know if Rebtel sees its competitors such as Boss Revolution etc. They make life easier for their customers with cheaper rates and easy-to-use dashboards.

I sort of stumbled onto this app. I was in Egypt and having a very hard time getting a line out. In researching online this app kept coming up as one of the best. The quality is always has become spotty. The rates are good. I do have 2 ongoing issues. First, when I hang up, it automatically redials the number I just called. Work clients it's very embarrassing. Also the app often crashes. That has become more frequent. Sometimes it refuses to disconnect, too.

fastastic app.. i want to thank you to Rebtel. As I'm in a LDR. And it's not possible for both to recharge our phones with such high amounts.. Rebtel makes it possible to call landline and mobile( international) with such affordable cost.. that I couldn't believe even.. the call waulity is really good and it work good if I don't get a good signal even. Im really thankful to this app.. It is a life saviour for people who are in LDR. It's about long calls. Thank you once again.
