More About Rebel Cops

You’re not exactly the police, but you're the only ones on the side of justice
Viktor Zuev, a sadistic crime boss new on the scene, has quickly taken the town of Ripton by the throat. The community's leaders and even the local police have surrendered to his will. A master of intimidation and blackmail, Zuev has seized every major business in town, all of which he now controls as his own private fiefdom. But an outlaw band of renegade cops refuses to bow. With little hope of success, they fight on -- for justice and the soul of their town.

Gunfights are thrilling, but stealth is key

You're fighting a guerilla war, out-manned and out-gunned. Use concealment and cover, approach the enemy quietly, and take them down before they can raise the alarm. You have at your disposal an arsenal of non-lethal weapons and equipment, as well as special tactical perks, which you can unlock as you upgrade your rebels. True, sometimes violence seems inevitable, but when the time comes, don't hesitate: neither you nor the criminals have health bars. When someone is shot, they'll bleed out quickly.

Explore, scavenge, and watch your back

Rebel Cops features not only compact operations where you need to fight for every inch of ground, but also large open locations to explore -- the sandbox levels. Search each room, crack open safes and vaults, try to get into inaccessible areas -- and grab everything that looks useful. Stay together and proceed with caution, or accept the risks, fan-out, and try to explore every corner.

Take the high road, or the low road

Zuev's mercilessness is the key to his power. Can you defeat him without playing by his rules? Will you answer the needs of the desperate townspeople, even if it means putting the whole operation at risk? Will you spare civilian guards who are only doing their jobs? Some say that in war, you have to do whatever it takes to survive, but remember: reputation is more valuable than money. Bad blood on the street can easily put your good name in the mud. Merchants will refuse to do business with you, and even some of your own people might turn their backs on you.

Features:
● PLAY WITHOUT ADS!
● Focus on turned-based tactical operations.
● How long you can hold out when you’re constantly short on supplies?
● No health bars – a single shot can cost a cop their life.
● Be stealthy, be quick, and use your arsenal to full effect.
● Can you defeat the mob without playing by their rules?

Just bought this in just the right time for discount, and in just first few minutes of the game tells me that this is truly a great game. From the UI design to the team management is crazy. Recommend it for people who likes challenges in turn based rpg

I rarely comment, but feel this needs highlighting again. Constantly freezing and heavy CPU use. Phone is red hot. It has a frustrating save system where you are unable to restart a mission with a set of different equipment, instead have to restart ENTIRE game from scratch, going through tedious intro mission. With a few tweaks it could be very very good. But fir now it is heavily sub par.

Hello, I have purchased rebel cops and I'd have a question about the gameplay. Mission 3, the bookstore one. I completed everything mission and the mission said "Grab the biker and bring him to the evacuation area" i arrested and carried the biker but in the map there is no evacuation area and I waited 150 turns and after a talk with someone it might be a bug but I spend time and money in the game and this is not good. I hope someone may take some time and look at this bug. I'm disappointed.

An amazing spin-off. Narratively, it isn't as good as TITP1 and 2, but the gameplay is fun and complex enough to keep you interested. The story, while minimal, also acts as a kind of sequel to the story of the two previous games, so fans of those will be pleased. Definitely recommended.

I like the concept of this game, and it's very enjoyable. Although I have issues with the length of the missions and there are some bugs that needs to be fixed. Such as the cloud save, the bookstore mission, etc

Good game, but tedious. The levels are repetitive and add no challenge or experience. AI is dumb and basically run into your bullets or don't notice you until you're breathing on them. There actually is a survival mode, which demos how bad the AI is. Weird design choices too, like XCOM style overwatch having a cost that gets replenished when you arrest enough people. It feels like it should be some cop simulator, but also is much too arcadey. And yet is too slow paced to be an arcade game.

Great game, but you don't seem to be able to restart a level from the beginning once started. I didn't equip my cops with the right gear and am now stuck until i can get them all killed to restart the level. The graphics are good, but the entire map in night time levels is very dim and brown which makes it pretty difficult to see any details such as hedges to hide behind

Unfortunately this game freezes fairly consistently. This is a big problem in a game that can take a long time to complete 1 mission. They suggest you save frequently which basically means there are no real consequences to your actions. But you can't not save frequently because you might need to load again after a freeze.

This would have been a perfect xcom-style game if it wasn't for one flaw: mission length. The named characters, interesting gameplay style, ridiculous powers and excellent visuals are held back by the missions being long to the point of being tedious. As it stands it's not egregious enough to take a star off, and it's mitigated somewhat by the very generous save system. My biggest problem is with the elimination missions where you have to neutralize all enemies and they can be annoying to find

A much more fleshed out version of tactical missions of TITP2. Story is there, though much less fleshed out, and some Tac missions can really be dragged out and boring. Addition of multiple saves during missions make it more merciful. I recommend for people who enjoy Xcom style games, but not for those who dislike sad endings.

I finally beat the 2nd level with over 80 turns, and it freezes. Even when reloaded. Wow. Edit: reinstalled, played through to that point again, and game freezes every time. Way to fail, guys. What's the solution, or does the dev care as little as this all makes it look?

Way too fiddly. Copies Xcom... but more of the bad bits. Really easy to move the wrong unit. Starts with 6 units when you don't want more than 4 yet. Map doesn't zoom and reorient the way EW does. Too involved moving all the units, constantly saving because you're SURE to move the wrong one. Enemies not all that interesting. Too much tedium for not enough reward

It was ok, not finished yet, but it's alright, if you guys are stuck on level 2 let me give you a tip, save your ability points (the stuff you earn on the top left) and at the beginning of the game don't actually care about takedowns too much, instead spread your cops as much as possible and reveal as many enemies as you can, when the 2 pissed off guys roll up use the ability that immediately sends everyone to jail in the pov of the police when not in a fight, you can activate it andgetridofthem

Pretty neat game to play here, I do feel the game graphics could obviously use some improvement's, possibly a better variety of weapons and choices to choose from and one last thing is that I believe they made it too easy once you realize that you can just keep saving your progress as u go along rather than needing to make it to a check point or otherwise having to start over the mission; however, overall it's really a great game to try and different from many of the others out there 👍👍👍👍.

UPDATE-So I went back and restarted the game to make sure i chose the easiest difficulty. So after doing that, I have to say that this game IS ridiculously hard. It took me probably 15 tries to finally get passed the very 1st mission (not the tutorial one). And as of right now, I am STILL stuck on the 2nd mission and have tried to pass it at least 10 times now. Not only is this game hard, but each mission literally takes like at least an hour. I really like the game but why is it so dang hard??

I love the genre/setting of the game with all my heart, and this is by far the best turn-based game I've played. The only issue I came across was the game sometimes taking a long time to process when you make a cop do an action, as well as an issue with the border when you have the sniper shoot in the farmhouse/mansion level. There's also no reason to aim for the head, but if criminals wore body armor or tried to revive each other, then it would. I also don't know if there's multiple endings.

I think it's a good concept and fun. I really like the turn based gameplay. Only thing is that it is an incredibly difficult game. Tried on Normal first, gave up, switched to Easy mode and it still took me numerous attempts and many hours to get past the farmhouse mission. I'm not the best strategist or gamer, sure, but this was excessively difficult.

This game seems like it has a really fun premise and I like the actual game, but this is really ruined by the design. The 3rd level of the game, The Estate, is HUGE. I couldn't finish it in one go, so I saved as I had been doing the whole time, and then returned to the game earlier. All progress was gone. It was not saved, and it wanted me to start the level over. This would be annoying with any normal level, but this one was enormous and I was a while in, so this was awful. I can't recommend.

Excellent technical tactical rpg. Extra great: smooth and intuitive control system, one of the best in the entire genre, great thematic immersion into the aesthetic, always save and be unkillable. Improvable: side stories better told than main cinematics, needs more range of zoom, linear level design gives fomo. Make sequel, same only better qol fixes, and can't wait

Rebel Cops is the turn-based strategy minigame from This Is the Police 2 made into its own game with the thinnest of thin storylines built around it. They even reused the voice actors' audio clips. It was enjoyable enough, but not worth paying money for if you don't just really, really love turn-based strategy for its own sake. I have Play Pass, so it was worth what I paid.
