Thought it would be a cool app, just like other reviews, when first downloading it takes you through a series of pages, once you reach the let's get started a subscription box pops up. no way to close it. Uninstalled right away because I'm not entering my payment info and end up getting charged $50.00 per year for an app I may not even use but a couple times. Not worth your time.

The sound on this app is pretty decent, although I only tried the acoustic guitar. It wanted me to register (way expensive) but it did allow me to exit out of it. The app does have potential but the ads totally overrun the app. To make the app even worth trying, collect the billing information only when the user agrees to the paid version! (This alone is reason to not use this app.) Then get rid of half to 3/4 of the ads. They make the app unusable. I am uninstalling.

This isn't really a game. Its more of a trainer. It is free to download. But the app starts on a 3 day free preameam version . After the 3 days is a $49 a year plan. That gets charged to your account automatically. Edit. I found out how to get past the 3 day free preameam. The app is useful but there is a small list of songs to lurn. Simple tunes. There is a game like version that has other songs that you play like rhythm game.

Wow, the worst in-app purchase applications I've ever seen! you literally waste your time downloading this only to find out you have to pay to even try it out, what a joke. Seriously the first thing that pops up after a few slides of introductions there's an option for a credit card entry. Then they even have the audacity to throw a 7-Day free trial after you meaning unless you have a card that you're willing to put on the line, no dice... Meaning do not pass go, do not collect $200, the end.

You should stop pretending that even with the subscription, that this is a good service and app. It's not. It's just as bad as the other similar "Real Guitar" apps. It's 100% just a cheap way for you people to make money off of monetization. You care not about the actual functionality of the app, and the quality of the interface and overall experience shows this.

This is a very scary app to use. It requires you to use the 7 day free trial (either that or it pops up in your face first thing and I didnt have time to read the fine print) but when I tried to cancel (I guess) it didn't work and ended up charging me 49.99 even after I uninstalled. I know I cancelled the subscription, because I didn't even use the app for 20 minutes before realizing that it didn't have what I was looking for... I even checked my subscriptions the day I cancelled and it was gone, I looked again today and it was back up and started charging me?!?! Rating 3 stars until I know I recieved my refund, honestly scared me.

Installed it and tried to get past the free trial stuff. Tapped "skip to limited version" at the bottom. Asked me again if I wanted to try the free trial. I said "no thanks." It took me to a screen that advertised it one more time. I pressed "Continue." It took me to the Google Play subscription page. I immediately uninstalled it. Look elsewhere for a more trustworthy app.

Interesting, I made a bad review and it somehow got deleted. No worry, I can make it again. This app is nothing but a scam. The music has horrible quality because they just put some acoustic guitar noices on top of actual songs. Also, you are given a 3 day trial but charged $50 for a year if you forget to cancel. I feel bad for those who forgot to cancel and got charged for a year of bad work. The developers are only waiting for someone to forget in order to cash in. Do not download

Very laggy and imprecise. Sometimes taps aren't registered, other times it'll lag by more than a second. Has issues with crashing. The ui controls aren't well thought out. Can't play it how you would a guitar cause the ui flips when you try to hold the phone like the neck of a guitar, meaning you always have to play it upside down comparwd to how you would look at a guitar while playing. I can't underatand how this gets 5 stars from anyone.

Can't even try the app out. It immediately goes to a screen where the only option is to pay an $89.95/year subsctiption to continue. Lame. Oh, and in response to the developer's response to others sharing a similar review... you cannot close the screen that wants you to buy the subscription. There are no buttons on the screen to click. Immediately uninstalled. Don't bother downloading.

You can't use this app unless you pay for the $7.99 subscription. The developers of this app are pathetic, they beg for money right off the bat with big "press me" buttons and they give a VERY tiny underlined button to choose not to subscribe, but when pressed, it brings you to a page where the only button is to pay and there's no way to close the page. The instruments don't even sound good from the demos they play on the introduction pages either. Just use BandLab.

The first thing the app does is try to get you to get the unlocked version for $50/year. If you are just trying to test the app before buying stuff (or committing to a trial), you can skip that step, but be prepared to be disappointed: the free version will pester you with ads on every change of screen, the sound quality is only an approximation to what a real guitar sounds like, strumming mechanism is plain and unimaginative, the electric option is a bad joke (used as an acoustic only), etc.

this app was fantastic just a few short months ago. the highly aggressive advertising has become a gigantic nuisance with not less than 3 ads to upgrade THIS APP to the premium version. I dont want the premium version, I have several actual guitars, I like to fiddle with this when I'm out and about if I get an idea for something. now it's just a chore to open and actually use. nix the heavy handed advertising and I'll update my rating. sound is still fantastic though.

Tons and tons of ads in free version. U have to back out of things all the time. Where I drew the line was when a pop up came up and said "like us on instagram" well u couldn't back out of that pop up, and couldn't continue with the game. I'd highly recommend not downloading it. I had it for like 5 minutes or less. The one song I played was like 20 strums... and then congratulations high score of 3500. So like a 30 second strum of a song. That's it. Subscription... 49.99 yearly... lol

So the ads for this app are misleading. The song list is pretty bare, didn't include any songs I would've been interested in playing, it didn't even include the song that was in the ad I saw that motivated me to download it in the first place, I was kinda hoping that I could play songs I normally listen to, maybe learn how to play them in the mean time. Had I known the song list only included beginner songs for people who are starting out, I would've just stuck with my own guitar instead

Extremely Annoying, that's what I can say about this. Every time an Ad opens up, there's a push notification telling me to come back even though I'm in the app still. There's no clearly shown settings page, a lot is premium stuff, and when I get an Ad played, and the app reopens, the guitar sounds don't load in. I press strings and its completely silent. If it were fixed and the layout was better I would rate this up.

I love the concept. Many things need work though. The strumming isnt very accurate. I have the samsung galaxy s9 +. When I strum fast I doesnt play some of the strings. Sometimes the strings lag as well. I bought the full version to see if there was more to it but sadly there isn't. More strum patterns should be added as well. Including a metronome and strum tutorials would be a plus.

I can't seem to find that "x" button that the developer keeps mentioning, therefore, I cannot get past the "let's rock" screen without signing up for the trial and astronomical $49.99/year cost. No...just no. Edit: In response to the developer's comment, there literally IS no "x" button there! Maybe it doesn't show up on certain phones/OS/updates, but obviously there are tons of people that aren't seeing it. There is an issue there.

Don't bother downloading. Had tried to download it to check it out several months ago, and saw before they even let you try it out, they beg you for money. 7.99 for a game that people haven't even tried, is pretty ridiculous to say the least. Will never download this back as long as it's pay before you try. Update: Yeah, there's a 7 day free trial, That automatically charges you if you don't cancel it. This doesn't change my opinion on the game at all.

Alright, after coming to this from a Tiktok ad, I must say. This is the absolute worst app related to music I have seen. If I could rate less than a star, I genuinely would. It starts by FORCING you to take a free trial, then after three days, you must pay. Then once you actually get through, you find out that the game BARELY RESPONDS. It didn't do half of what I was inputting. Absolutely do NOT download this waste of storage space. Would absolutely NOT download. Thank you for your time.
