I am learning to play the guitar and so I need an app like this to help me record backing drum tracks for my practicing. I like the fact that you can see the parts and PLAY THEM and actually listen to the different sounds of the drum set...GREAT. What the app does not offer me, is the chance to place those sounds in a certain order, combine sounds and record the sequence and actually be able to use it as a backing track for your guitar learning. As it is, I see no practical use for it.

Ads, followed by ads, was there a drum in there? I installed this and started the beginner lesson. 10 seconds. Then a small FB ad followed by a full-screen 30-second ad. Followed by a second full-screen ad. I force quit the program and restarted. Same ads. A waste of time. Seems like it could be fun, but there are too many ads. Offer a paid version.

This app is amazing, many different kits set to choose from, and you can customize your own from the parts you download from sets. The ads don't happen when you play, only when you download a new kit to try out or edit your current one from my experience. I just wish you could take away or add more cymbals by replacing a tom or something like that. Overall great app, many customizable and changeable sounds. I practice and write some of my fills on this then play it on my real kit.

Of all the finger-drumming apps on the Play Store, I think this is probably the best one. I've used a lot of these apps over the years and so far this one has been the most consistent. Pros: +Sound quality is great +The kits sound amazing +Ability to customize drum skins. Cons: -+Slight delay sometimes on older/low spec phones (not a developer fault) -Menu bar is unable to be moved/hidden, even with paid access. My suggestion: an option to hide UI bar if ads are removed Thank you for this app :)

It just stopped giving anysound but I can still hear the conmercials. Before that it would cut out and mess up my recording when it would otherwise be perftect. That's pretty annoying because I like the selections of styles and the graphics. There is something for just about every genre. I enjoyed using it until it stopped working. I hope the bugs get fixed soon.

The audio quality is good and there's potential, but the biggest issue with this app is the delay between the tap and the sound. I've been playing drums for well over a decade and thought this would be a fun way to play when I'm away but I can't get into it because it's so hard to keep time on here. UPDATE: the issue seems to stem from using Bluetooth. Without wireless headphones, there's no delay and the app is great. But with Bluetooth headphones, there's too much delay.

The letency on this app keeps getting higher when I play a loop or some or even watch an app. Also the toms has been so bad compared to real drums. I've tried all of them and none are to my liking. Like they mostly sound like the snares from marching band they don't sound like something you would use at a church or gig. Everything else sounds good maybe the bell sound can be a little softer.

I stated in my last review the bugs still remain even though I have premium. Now when recording a beat on any of the new drum sets uploaded to the library there is a bit of distortion with the recording like the bass drum isn't right. I have deleted the app data, cleared the cache data multiple times, this issue still persists. When is this new update going to come? Because I'm getting tired of this app malfunctioning on my device. I cannot even record a good song anymore without issues.

Sound delay and it overwhelms the game when you play too fast. I found it particularly difficult to download other kits, it'll take me about 5 tries for it to actually give me an ad. There are also a lot of other ads excluding reward ads. Not a big fan of the kits themselves either, but that is my personal opinion. Cool idea though, definitely glad I tried. My main issue is the sound delay. If I wanted to record any beat at all, I have to turn the volume off and focus on the rythym in my fingers

Great app! However, I have one big complaint: the latency is REALLY high. It's like 300 milliseconds (this number seems to change randomly after I close and open, or update it, and is sometimes like 100 milliseconds or less). If this is fixed, I'll change my review to a five-star reiview. If you want to hear the latency, tap your fingernail on the screen -- Edit: this issue has been fixed

Brilliant application! This is my original Druming App, that I discovered about 3 years ago, when there were far less features. I've tried a variety of other options, and, while serviceable, this one is simply like no other. As a given, I really dig the weekly release of new kits, and the ability to mix and match pieces, and tune, to create virtually limitlessness amounts of sets. One thing that I find to be a bit disappointing, is that the bell is the same on all of the kits.

Very fun to play around with. A lot of features have been added over the years. One of the better drum apps in my opinion. Update. After playing with this app a couple of years now it has went from good to worse. It glitches now ads when switching to sets that are already unlocked. Wouldn't be so bad but the ads are long and some of them interfere with the app. With be uninstalling.

EDIT: after 6 years of using this amazing app, I finally uninstalled it due to the unbelievably annoying DAILY "new drumset" notifications. Just charge us for buying the app, stop this subscription stuff. The app is very good, but you've lost a faithful user. .... Awesome app. Too bad the ads spoil it big time. Also, on newer Android handsets without physical buttons, it's too easy to accidentally hit the 'back' button while drumming. Maybe the app could require two clicks to actually exit?

Been playing on this app for a day now. Just can't put it down. My battery runs dead and I recharge it and go back to playing the game. I always wanted to learn to play the drums. Somehow I believe I might be doing just that. Learning how to play drums. It is definitely improving my inner rhythm. Thanks for the free app. Only bad thing is ad walls keep popping up but not interfering like most. Google removed after I reply already seen. But, an ad pops up before you go to a new drum pattern

OMG this app is KILLER. Starts you with a basic set but you can download different sets by watching a 30 second ad. Also let's you play along with any songs stored on your phone. I DO have to close all apps out before I use this app or it will delay. There ARE quite a few ads but hey, it's free. This app doesn't work well with Bluetooth speakers, as there's a delay that'll mess up your rhythm. Best to use wired earbuds. Rock on!!

Nice app. Many great features including the ability to record your session. Unfortunately, the record functions does not work. I recorded about 3 minutes of music but when I hit the button to save the drums, the app hangs with "Generating MP3 file". Also: How about switching to a 30 day free trial model? At a very minimum, get a better way of handling ads. The current approach is very bad! I've requested a refund.

I used to love this app, but now the ads are ridiculous, there's no way I'm gonna sit through a 3 minute ad Everytime I click on anything. If you played this app for 30 min., 20 minutes of the 30 minutes are ads. So lame. If I were discovering this app for the first time I wouldn't buy premium because it won't let you try anything without waiting on ads. If you accidentally pick the wrong loop, and you exit immediately to pick the right one you have to wait on ads. Good luck selling premium.

EDIT!!! Y'ALL RUINED ONE OF THE BEST DRUM APPS. I DOWNLOADED IT ON AT LEAST FOUR PHONES AND ACQUIRED MANY DRUMS THAT ARE ALL USELESS NOW BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT LOAD!! One of the best drum apps I've seen yet. Nice how you can change the tone of each drum. Hope I can figure out where my recordings are going cuz it doesn't seem too obvious and it's pretty obnoxious having to click out of that ad whenever I hit it trying to hit a symbol. Pop-up ads can really throw off a rhythm.

The beat is just slightly delayed when I hit a drum or cymbol and it makes it so hard to play. I've tried reinstalling and it didn't fix. Edit: Didn't know it was a bluetooth issue, it'd be great if it supported bluetooth a bit more since my phone doesn't have a headphone jack so I'm limited to what I can use to hear. Great app though!

The actual gameplay part is great. Good graphics, nice sound, and the lessons are simple and easy to follow. However the ads are so invasive it makes it difficult to play. There's an ad between starting and ending every lesson as well as if you want to repeat it, and the ads can be sooooo long. Really disrupts the flow big time. I'd put up with one every new lesson or so, but you can't really do anything without watching 2-3 ads.
