Never used an app that made me so livid. Just wanted to check a price, tried to use the website, but it kept redirecting me, saying something about delivery (while I was standing in the middle of the store). I picked the store I was standing in; after installing the app I 'just' wanted to see how long a 'savings' promotion lasted. There was no way to find this out. After jumping thorough 100 hoops, so much wasted time.

The newest update sucks. It wont let me clip coupons. It says clip pending, then says unable to clip. Then there are certain items in the ad for digital coupons but trying to find the coupon is hard or there just is no coupon. Im also a cashier and constantly have to help customers with the app regarding similar issues. Its so annoying when youre short on time and just want to save some money.

Miserable UX interface: the actual shopping stuff begins below the fold. Infinite scrolling "deals" have no sorting options. Couponed/deal items don't go into your cart, they go into a "list". No ability to filter or sort your results when shopping by aisle. Small, low res pictures of the food items so you don't have a great idea what you're getting.

Terrible experience from app to customer support. It is so hard to navigate through the app and do something simple as adding an item to cart. Placing an order is just as annoying. There are no notifications when an order gets cancelled. Customer support is also clueless how the apps works. My account kept getting error messages and they could not fix it. This is app is definitely still in the alpha stage of development.

This app is surprisingly nice. Load a rewards card, you can pick coupons and then use them at checkout with your phone number. It saves all of your purchases so you can see later what you bought, when and how much you got, and reorder. It shows most items available with prices so even in store if you have trouble finding something you can check to see if it even exists. When building a pickup list, tells you coupons exist. Gas rewards can go up to 30c/gal. Aisle listing is not accurate.

This app pales in comparison to the old app. Can you order and search fro groceries, yes. Can you easily speak to the shopper and view their shopping like the old app, no. Do they have specials where you can get free delivery, no. The old app wasnt broken, but they messed with it anyways and it is an inferior version to say the least. 2 stars since you can technically still order groceries, but -3 stars since the functionality took major steps backwards.

I like that this app has coupons and helps with savings, but other than that it's not user friendly at all. Searching for specific coupons for specific items is nearly impossible. And using the grocery list option is also glitchy and bad. Every time I would check off an item something else would check off instead or as well, so I would have to uncheck things and eventually I just gave up.

Used to be a nice app. More difficult to use now. Also, the look and feel don't align with what I need it for: looking up sales and coupons. The lovely "Pay Now" button on the new home screen isn't something I feel should be on the home screen of a grocery store's coupon app. If they're trying to sell delivery or online shopping services that should be in a tab, not the home screen. I'm looking forward to the update that makes this app more useable.

Infuriating. Demands far too much time and effort to build a shopping list, is unclear if the list carries over from store to store or not, and the secondary "cart" list is just redundant. Most products don't have images, and there's no filter for coupon-only items. In store pickup option is really nice but be prepared for zero effort with substitutions.

If you want to search for products by name that seems to work. But searching through digital coupons takes forever because you can't sort by category. Also the barcode scanner is the worst! I can't get it to focus on any barcode. I know it's not a problem with my phone's camera because all of my other apps that have barcode scanners work just fine.

Really, only viable for (in-store) Kroger Pay -- which is super-handy, btw. The weekly ads, as well as the product images are NOT high resolution (i. e., you can't zoom in), so they're essentially worthless. The product descriptions are also truncated, so the only way (for example) to clip coupons is to tap each and every item to see/read the full details. A time sink, indeed. This app was not well thought out (and I'm betting it wasn't tested, either).

No matter what I do, whether it's the app or the mobile site, I keep getting 404s or junk redirects when I try to login. It's not my login credential, because it occasionally works, but I'm often logged out after a few minutes, usually in the middle of using the app. I have had occasional issues of this sort for years, only in the past they would resolve themselves after a day or so, usually without me even having to log myself back in. What am I doing wrong?

Terrible app. The main issues I have is that it adds items to my list that I didn't add (example: I added orange juice but it was not in my cart and I had a bathroom cleaning item that I definitely didn't add myself) and then when I fix the issue, it takes ages to load my cart and it will say all of my items are unavailable for about 2 minutes. It would be tolerable if it happens every once in a while but it's multiple times in one shopping list. Every. Time.

Was forced to yet another update, which broke the app. It now shows zero coupons available. 1 star rating remains. did an update because my app wasn't showing any coupons. Update is much worse. There used to be an option to select all or clear all. Then you could select categories so you don't have to scroll through hundreds of coupons you won't use. You got rid of that and now you have to uncheck every category you don't want to see. I want to rollback to the previous version

the app is great. it's easier to see and clip coupons for check out. easier to see what's on sale. they have tons of pickup times in 30 min increments instead of hourly increments. it's easy to keep track of previous orders. when you enter your number in store it logs to your account so you can still see it. I love this app and have saved a lot of money by using their online sales and coupons.

I love the convenience of delivery. Unless you have a specific item to substitute, uncheck the box for "substitute the closest items". Last time the delivery person didn't read my specified substitute, though, and was going to substitute another brand instead of my specified substitute. Another time, they didn't check with me before substituting. Read the list of items prior to checking out, too. Most of the time I've been delivered my list perfectly, with delivery instructions followed.

Updating my original review below as the issue with the coupon filters appears to have been resolved and they are now showing up.in the app. -- original review-- This review is for latest version 71.2.1 only. This newest version is missing the filter categories for coupon selection ("Ways to Shop", "Special Savings" & "Departments"), making it impossible to effectively narrow down coupon lists. This is the main feature I use, so app is much less useful. Please add back the filtering categories

great app which gets the job done, biggest gripe is the photo quality of nutritional labels of products. cant read anything to decide between 2 brands. it's also a bit clunky to navigate between some of the pages (e.g. recipes). app can probably be simplified a lot in terms of customer facing pages. UX is decent overall

Interface is not well optimized or intuitive. Whenever an item is marked as "unavailable" it gives you the option to select a similar item but when you select something similar it says there is nothing available....it happened with 5 items in a row....however, if you go to the home screen and manually search similar items you get a whole list of options...along with the item that it claimed was "unavailable".

The digital coupons are great and using it to order groceries is good. However it is super unintuitive to use. Especially the digital coupons clippings. I couldn't figure it out at first and needed the help of the cashier to figure out how to use it. Whoever created the app did a really poor job. Hey Ralph's fix it
