Huge Improvement when used with original Mavic Mini. I only used for One battery duration so far and I haven't decided yet if I'm going to buy it but that's because I am considering upgrading to a more expensive model of drone anyway. But at least for the original Mini this is a huge upgrade compared to what it does by default

The settings I enter won't stick. I want to hear/ read speed and altitude in feet but only tells me in meters. This concerns me because if that doesn't work then what about other settings like compass etc. Anyone know how to fix this? I sent Rainbow ab email but they haven't gotten back to me. And I PAID for this.

I'm giving it a one star, simply for the reason there is no tutorial. I've been using dji fly for 2 years and I would like to switch, but it won't connect to my mini se. I understand temporary glitches, but there are no resources to figure the problem or even understand some of the buttons in the software. Gonna go with Litchi probably.

Only gives you a certain amount of flights before you need to buy the full version... Plus it doesn't have older drones... It looks a lot like the DJI app when it comes to flying anything DJI... makes me wonder if this app is just a transparent shell over the original app... dont get it!!! It's a waste of your time and money if you go to buy it... Good luck and keep flying...

Only free for five flights. Then costs a ridiculous £28. The only app that works on my phone, and it'll cost £28. As if shelling out on a drone didn't nuke my bank enough, to cost so much to actually use the drone just feels insulting. Wouldn't mind a tenner, but near thirty quid is too much and setting the app to free to hide that you only get five goes is straight up dishonest ><

The app is not for free it's $20 but it connected perfectly with my Maverick Mini and it has a couple of more options than the DJI regular fly so it's a good deal that way you don't have to buy a compatible phone this app will solve your problem and you can fly your drone but the one you have to buy it's the one you pay for $20 great price great app. Oh by the way my phone was not compatible. Like I said this app solve the problem for $20

I had high hopes. Too inconsistent for me to trust my Mini. 2 with. Using a Pixel 6 non-pro on Android 12. The 5 waypoints and 1 POI set up no issue. It flew to WP1 and turned towards POI1 as instructed and refused to go to WP2. Had to cancel three missions due to this. At steady 30' hover the called out altitude varied +/- 6 meters. The follow me mode froze the camera feed and app display then began twitching the motors as it hovered. Canceled that as well and manually landed. Nope!

I have had this app for over a year and to be fair I have had no issues using it while we are touring Australia, every time I need to use the drone it works and functions as I would expect it to, the only thing I would say it would be nice to link it to the phone so I can see the images in my phone gallery rather than upload them from the memory stick, any help from anyone on this would be great 👍

When I connect my mini 2 it connects to the camera and gps location. But when I try to fly I have to manually start the props and take off and it does not show altitude or distance, and return to home does not work either as to no way point. Please add support for the mini 2 then I will definitely purchase because I cannot use DJI Fly app with my Samsung Galaxy A11. Pretty frustrating.

This is a great app for the DJI mini 2, it's the first app I've found that will carry out an automated grid mission on the mini 2 but unfortunately when the trial ended an I purchased the pro version and found this feature wasn't available. I set up a mission to fly over my home taking photos at interval, downloaded the photos to Agisoft Metashape stiched the photos together and was very happy with the result. Hopefully they'll include this feature with the pro version.

I have the mini and the mini 2. I used this with the mini 2. On my second flight with the free version it was very sluggish in responding to controls. Also it did not register the height, or distance from me. It is very unnerving when you have a drone hovering in the air and it does not respond when you attempt to move it or bring it down! Will this start working properly if I pay for the program? I really do want this to work. What is the difference between the yearly fee (14.99), and the $24 version? I would love to support this app, but I need it to work for me. My phone is a newer Moto G7.

If you want to use your DJI SE, this is the only app on Android that will let you do it. With that said, you are better off with an iPhone and getting the DJI app because this app will stop working after 5 drone flights. You are expected to pay a subscription fee in order to keep flying. Really!?! This app would have been a great alternative to getting an iPhone, but you are locked out from doing anything with your drone after 5 flights unless you pay a subscription.

So far I'm really digging it. Thank goodness because the dji fly app is no longer in the app store, so this is a God send. It definitely takes some getting used to. I wish the default flight mode was FPV, it was throwing me off starting with the waypoint setting and flying straight up in the air. It's not perfect but so far it's actually pretty good! Hope they keep updating it they better since I spent money on it lol

I tried this with my mini 2. Pros is that both tracking and following worked and fairly well!! Cons is that the interface is so confusing and also it kept disconnecting from my drone. I Went though all 5 trials in one 20 minute -flight. The last time it left it hovering with no way to land it because I was out of free trials!! The joysticks were disabled even when I unplugged my phone Watch out for this I easily could have lost the drone because of this. I think the land button worked

Unfortunately will not connect with my manic mini. They still have have some work to do. I just get a black screen and says disconnected. Update; got it to connect! But i don't think it's for right for me. No sport mode is a deal breaker for me, if i am flying and the wind picks up i want to be able to get my drone back or at least have a better chance aft getting it back. Other wise its a good alternative to goapp!

*Mavic Mini* !!!Be aware!!! I subscribed, paid the $15 to support the developer. The app is not there yet. Waypoint is the only thing that is working for me, but I don't like the idea that I dont have control of the aircraft while its on a mission (really scary), it should stop any mission as soon as you push a button on the controller. Very scary!!! Be aware!

The best aftermarket controller made gives all the options that the dji fly app gives plus some you link with every bit of the aircraft it is informative and absolutely outstanding..!!! They even give you five free flights to know if you would like to purchase it or not..!! Now that's a group that knows it's a product is worth well more than was ask..!! Thanks rainbow and everyone else I'll see you in the skies.... Tommy Lake

Coming from the nonfunctional dji go app, this is an absolute lifesaver. It feels just the same in flight, and it works right away for my phantom 4. The only difference is the map. The camera works great, but the map is a bit worse in my opinion. I personally really liked the line that twisted and turned with your flight path, and the straight line to home base is a bit underwhelming. Otherwise though, it's great!

When it works, it's great (especially because DJI somehow fails to serve even extremely popular and recent phones with their app). However, Rainbow has also caused me to miss shots that I needed to take for work, by greying out the take-off button at times, so that I can't even take off. When it happens, I can't find a remedy to it. The drone is fully connected, in GPS mode, etc., but refuses to take off. Please fix this.
