Bought "pro" a while ago. a year or so they decided to create "subscription" based remove ads. My purchase is now worthless as got ads back.

Never had a problem at all with this app. However, recently (around 3 months) ago, it has become glitchy. Every time it changes location without any prompts. And, the rain app shows widespread rain over my area and head, but in reality occasionally is cloudy but mostly sunny. I have added this for now. I hope this is understandable. Regards. Update: A tweak here and a tweak there, and I reinstalled the app and as the last few days, working very well. Thank you.

I like the app and use it for years. If there was one time purchase of it i would buy it, subscription model,not so much. Full screen ads are really intrusive ,and no,its not once an hour like developer responded in another review comment. Its much much more frequent then that .

Not accurate. The rain Edit. Three times it was wrong in Quebec city. Ex.: I was in a concert waiting for the last band, it was raining (light) and the app showed shower in a period of time, then I decided to g home. When I got home, the rain stopped for the whole last presentation. Nothing is perfect, but for this level of accuracy I think I don't need an app. I changed to three stars because of the cool features.

It was supposed to be a 5 star review but the problem is.... I bought this app with advertisements free. After the software update, its now giving me the most basic version with ads. Additionally now it's going to be charged monthly if i were to purchase the apps. I am very disappointed though it is a very useful apps. How can you rectify this problem for me?

The 2025 app is not an improvement from the 2017 version. While it honors my lifetime purchase, I lost respect for it charging a subscription to people--a dishonest decision. I had to fiIt tries to spy on. It's not hard to make your own rain alarm app. I can only see that possibly Google is making it hard to publish apps on the playstore, driving anyone to charge subscriptions with a clear conscience. I really think the app was a 5 star product years ago,w/ it's overhaul, I reluctantly 3 star.

Rain Alarm app has the best real time weather alerts and keeps me dry. I am very impressed at the timeliness and accuracy of this app. After trying many other weather apps claiming to have real time weather alerts I came back to this one for its effectiveness.

Had this app for years but I'm editing it down to a 3 star. I'm not happy about the increase and size of adverts. I'd happily pay a one off payment to be free of ads, but I'm not doing a subscription. Also, the recent changes to the colour chart are confusing and weren't necessary.

Trustworthy rain info; keeps my telescope dry! I switch alarms on when leaving my rig unattended during the night. In general I hate subscription apps but this is more than worth it for my needs & to remove ads. Frankly I'd be prepared to pay more! To possibly improve: Switching alarms on/off now seems buried in the settings. The help section is pointless! If this was expensive I'd dock a star, but as it's so rediculously cheap, still 5*

I have always found this app to be very useful and informative. It's a marked improvement on every other weather app that I have used in the past. The real-time notifications are the biggest seller for me. I have recommended this app to friends and colleagues and after showing them the benefits of using the app they have promptly downloaded it themselves. I would like to know if it is possible to change the radius on the map so as to either increase or decrease the area that notifications serve.

Thanks dev! 🙂👍 / Uninstalling bc can't find way to pinpoint it closer to my location. So am getting rain alerts for areas all around in my general area, which don't at all pertain to where I'm located at any given time. In my mountainous region rain comes & goes, & 90% of the time when this says it's going to rain, it doesn't. And I greatly dislike that alert stays on screen for way more seconds than I need. Is constantly popping up & obstructing things, & I have to wait a lot. Nice idea tho.

GREAT app. As a convertible sports car owner in the scattered rain showers of the northeast it's indispensable. It's high accuracy and detailed info have saved me many times. The alarm even gets me up out of meetings to go close the top during what weather reports erroneously said was a rainless day. Info is easy to access in-app and especially with the at-a-glance widget. It works well all the time, does not require too frequent updates, and the ads are not intrusive on the version I have. 💯❤

I used this app at work & really liked it. Most weather apps aren't very accurate in my area due to being in a valley between mountains. This app works in real time & simply does a great job at what it claims it does. I'm happy to find it again. The radar is easy to use & understand. It even has a weather forecast for upcoming days. It has a good bit of options to customize the search distance & intensity of rain that will trigger an alert. I only wish there was better widgets with a forecast.

Seems nice. I wish that it was not subscription based. I'd consider paying a one time fee to unlock features. But never a subscription... Lastly, why did I uninstall this? Because of aforementioned lack of a one time purchase. I am tired of all developers feeling they need a subscription on everything. If you need the pocket change, keep the ads and just release a full application...
