world's best radio station!! Transitions, variety, and surprises. I am almost always amazed. I can listen to it all day. Makes Spotify and Pandora look like idiot robots. Viva La FIP

Great Except for all the Trackers! Hundreds per hour...so Uninstalling. The old Fip app was perfect until TRACKERS!

Absolutely superb station. Tired of my favourite UK Music station becoming more & more mainstream & repetitive, I tried Fip on a recommendation. The station is brilliant! A constant stream of music of all genres from all corners of the globe without interruption. No depressing news bulletins, no listening to the same song repeated on 5 different shows...just fresh sounds after fresh sounds.

Here there is only music. No DJ waffle, no promotional messages, no propaganda dressed as 'news' and no listener input. Just music. Perfect. I'm a heavy listener and sometimes hear the same tunes on repeat if I stay in the same genre for too long. But there's a really broad choice and just a tap to switch genres is simple. A good app with all artist and song info so you'll never lose that 'must have' tune.

Fantastic music. Can't get enough of it. The streaming quality is very poor however, even after enabling all performance settings and connecting to high quality WiFi, the streaming interrupts regularly which is rather frustrating. Tried emailing the support team via the in app functionality only to get a bounce back email saying address not valid. Hope someone can read this and fix the two issues.

Content is great but the app has several serious issues on my OnePlus 5 that I informed the developers about and it's never been fixed. For example, if I listen to live radio and close my screen, the app stutters and breaks up. Recently I find that the screen stops responding to taps; I have to change the orientation to refresh the screen to make it work. Only app that has these problems on my phone. I emailed the Devs with a screen recording of the stutter issue years ago but it was never fixed

FIP is the best radio station in the world. Unfortunately FIP is no longer available via Chromecast/TuneIn, but this app is a great replacement minus the voice capability.

Good app, simple and useful. I like that I can bypass TuneIn to listen to FIP on my Phone, BUT since the app isn't officially published in my country my Google Nest refuses to play when asked, which is too bad since I've been listening to FIP every day like that, now I'm forced to go thru the phone and then cast manually quite a bummer... I hope there's some way to fix this issue. Still... love the radio.

Great radio programs, but the app is one of, if not the worst out there nowadays. The app cuts out every 2-10 minutes (despite having all my settings set to make sure this doesn't happen). They've been promising that it's been fixed for over 6 months now, but it just gets worse each time. This app is pretty much unusable so I'm looking for other radio apps now which is a shame! This aside, the podcasts work perfectly. That's the only reason for the second star!

I'm now using another podcast app to access the content since this one is now forcing me to register an account to just download episodes for offline use... This was not even mentioned in the logs, what's the point if it is to introduce breaking usability changes 🙄

It's has diverse and interesting topics and variety. It's the best radio 📻 and no. one in France 🇫🇷. It's an excellent media and resource for learning the French 🇫🇷language, culture, history, politics, and cinema 🎥.

Doesn't work in a background ie stops after few minutes - making it unusable. Should I be watching it? I mean it's radio, no? I don't understand why is this not addressed. Alarm doesn't work properly - it does wake on time making a sound but radio doesn't start or, to be more precise, it starts sometimes - usually doesn't. Really a shame for such a beautiful app with rich content. It's only a few technical problems to solve..

works fine most of the time. the only thing that bothers me is that i cannot reverse the order of the playlist within a podcast. when i listen to a series and let the app jump to the next episode in the series, it goes back in time and not forward.

This is a very good application with quality content. Radio France did a good job of pulling all their radios under one app and the UX is well though. However, there are some technical issues: 1. Some random stuttering when the application runs in the background (this is mentioned in other reviews) 2. Chromecast is not well supported. Detecting & connecting to Chromecast devices is a pain 3. The song information is not updated on the lock screen when the application is in the background.

Bad update!!Stay in the previous version if u can!The new version is much less intuitive, with some few new options not practical at all,and none of the useful things you could wish for.You can't chose your favore radios,so the ones u wanna listen are far and you need to scroll long to switch from on to the other. Titles of the programs LIVE are difficult to read,although I have good sight. A shame.I will use France Inter app now.For France Culture unfortunately there's no dedicated app.

If you are a French learner like myself, then I'd recommend this app ! It's great for listening practice and comprehension. Plus, it also tests your skills in the language. All you have to do is find a topic that you're interested in and start from there. However, this app is mainly for Intermediate/Advanced learners (from B2-C2 to be more specific) so if you're a beginner in French, I would wait until you reach a good enough level to tackle it. A great app for B2-C2 French learners!
