$9 for an app that requires me to pay MORE for a subscription to use features that I would think should be available with the $9 I already spent on the app. Had I known that was the case, I wouldn't have bothered to purchase the app in the first place and just stuck with checking forecasting websites. Right now, every dollar is needed to make ends meet. That was almost two and half gallons of gas for me. Just so I could hope to get access to a forcast for my area– nope requires premium.

Why do I ALWAYS get a message when I open the app that says, "Your device appears to be offline. Retry." This happens every time I open the app. For the record, my device is never offline. I'm connected to gigabit wifi 6, but it also happens on any cellular connection. I press "retry" and it immediately connects. This isn't a new thing either, I've been getting this error for over a year now, but it's been going on for far too long now, and there's still no update to fix this bug.

Needs Work Cannot write over images and share. I have top tier subscription and this should have that ability. I can draw but it lays over the controls to send so you cannot do anything but draw over the screen capture button. Unacceptable. Also the severe warnings don't show until many minutes later. EDIT: Lowered rating to 1 star. Data is between 15 to one hour old now. I'm sorry I shelled out for a subscription. Will not subscribe fuether. Look elsewhere.

As a professional meteorologist (NWS), I am not overly impressed with this app. The satellite imagery (trying out the Gamma subscription) is very pixilated and hard to use. The data seems to be a least one volume scan behind Radarscope and even WeatherTap. The one thing that I do like is the plots of Special Weather Statements (SPS's.). As others have said, this has the potential to be a really good radar app, but definitely needs to cleaning up!

The forecast models are great and I like being able to see camera feeds from the local reports, but the radar is significantly worse than what I've been using. The resolution is very low (about 1/4 the scale in single site view, but about 1/10 or worse in mrms), custom locations are only single points that blend in with the rest of the interface and a significant amount of data (metars, storm tracks, etc) is only available in the single site radar view. Also, no web view.

Average Experience. When i purchased this app, it had a higher rating and i was interested in the data specially the lightning location. Although the data is available, the problem i have is that it's not timely when there's wx activity in the area to include the lightning. I keep reverting back to the free myradar app. When there is no activity and i want to scan around the US, it is not a smooth transition when moving the map and zooming in and out... very jerky.

The data and tools this app provides seems to be well ahead of any other enthusiast app. Additionally, the subscription plans are expensive and I would like them to be cheaper, but the cost vs the data and tools received is justified imo, compared to other apps at least. My big gripe is that the app itself needs work. It kills itself every time you navigate away from it, doesn't support window resizing, and is generally clunky to navigate. If this is resolved then five stars for you.

It's alright. It's got good functionality but once you download the paid app from your app store of choice, you're still presented with an expensive subscription service. Which is confusing and leaves me wondering why I paid for the app. I also would like the ability to input my addresses in the app and have them saved in the radar screen ... so I can see the weather in both places, maybe on the roads in between, etc. Little things like that would be very useful imo.

Doesn't work anymore. I bought to try and replace Pykl3. Early on, it was rough and unpolished, but did what I needed by giving me the info I was looking for. But now, after some updates, and the release of the new subscription service, I can't even pull up base reflectivity. I feel baited, as I am just a simple weather nerd, and I am not willing to pay subscription fees just for the most basic of radar data. Perhaps a professional could justify the fees, but now I regret buying in years ago over other options.

This is a really useful app. I feel like it desperately needs the ability to save layouts. Sometimes I want a clean look at a specific source without a ton of overlays that distract from the focus. Everytime I have to click through like 20 menus searching for the various locations of all of the overlays just to get that look, then if I want the old one back to look at a more general look I have to find them one by one and add them. Having profiles would be really helpful.

It's OK at best. Menu and graphics look like a 5 year old got a new set of cranes, and it's a bit bulky. Like that they give you lightning and rotation information (others charge for lightning and no rotation), but lack of time stamp on radar is horrible, -2 stars just for that. Doesn't scale well with a 7" tablet in landscape. What a reply from the developer! "We don't want you as a user". You guys are a piece of work.

Downloaded this last night and it worked very well. Opened it up this afternoon and no radar data loads. The severe weather watches/warnings show up, but that's it. The selected radar only says "Loading" and has been that way over 10 min. Closed and reopened the app, put phone in airplane mode to reset the data connection, restarted phone, and still shows "Loading". Going to give it a little but before uninstalling and going to RadarScope.

I was all excited to buy this app and I am sorely disappointed. I paid 8.99 for it. However everything I wanted with it is an extra subscription charge every month and it's not cheap!! Each addition is another charge! I can't even get a decent weather map. The free apps are much better. The only thing I like which now doesn't always work is spotting the storm chasers. Also the map is covered with green dots which I guess are other users and I can't seem to delete them. I'd like a refund.

As a subscriber, I would love to see this on my Galaxy Watch someday! They are a few radar apps, but not one that I'm currently paying a subscription for lol. Love this app, even though I still have loads to learn about the navigation and meaning of everything. It at least keeps me up to date with active weather alerts, up to a 2 day forecast of severe weather threats and much more. RHY

Okay, time to be honest: This app is amazing. It's not for the average Joe just looking at the radar before leaving for work (get something free for that) but if you are a Chaser or just an enthusiast in general, it is worth every penny! The last update made some of the menu features hard to navigate, but they have guides for that. Overall, it is amazing, because 1. It shows not just storm chasers information, but also their live stream. And, 2. It has every type of radar you need. No room left

For me, this is the best radar app since PYKL3 was discontinued. Among the features I like even more is being able to rotate the display. As a camper with a travel trailer, I use this on the road along with a Garmin GPS. But, unlike the GPS, the display doesn't rotate in the direction of travel. An auto-rotating screen and my position towards the bottom of the screen with the direction of movement "up" (like a GPS or aircraft RADAR) would be very helpful so I don't have to reach over and manually rotate the display taking my eyes off the road. I would pay extra for that feature even as an add-in.

Excellent for weather enthusiasts. Being able to pull up both live radar and models along with overlays like fronts, storm tracks, visibility, wind direction, and severe weather outlooks is quite nice. Advisories and warning are simple to pull up and don't pull you out of the map. Takes a bit to figure out where everything is and how to use the tools and can feel clunky with so many controls, but I don't mind it. The subscription for all the tools is pretty spendy, though.

I love this app it has all the different radars and models you see on the tv all the time! Reflectivity and velocity maps have made my storm anxiety disappear! I love that you can see the maps side by side, you can see hail size, and lightning. You can track everything about hurricanes, I do it just for fun, you can even look at pictures from buoys in the ocean. There are so many features that I don't even know how to use, but I love watching the how to videos and learning new weather stuff!

I used to love and recommend this app. Paid for it when it first came out, before it became subscription-based, and received all the good stuff. Now, gotta do either monthly or yearly subscription just to use the features it once had. I mean you can't even use reflectivity smoothing or split screen anymore without paying the sub fee. Map loads slowly (or not at all), laggy interface, plus the money-grabbing. You can obtain more radar options for way less (even free) from other apps.

This needs some work. The constant refreshing when switching between apps, even in split screen mode is frustrating. Then, there's the UI. When I click on a polygon, it provides the information needed, but if it's an entire screen of different polygons, you can't escape the popups! Unfortunately, there's better out there right now, for free. As an alpha user, this hurts...
