[GOLD] After a year of usage it's time to edit my review. During this time, updates were constant and new cameras are added regularly. Android auto works fine, Bluetooth connectivity and loading is very nice. Yes, audio glitches happen, navigation chooses illogical routes but all in all, I'm raising my two star review to four stars. What I want for future versions is automatic device volume raise as you may enter vehicle with volume turned down and you will never hear warning. Money well spent.

I had a subscription and used it for 7 years. No problem, now I got speed fine because Radarbot failed to warn me. If I'm going to get fined, It wouldn't feel so bad if I was using the free version. Sped up a bit so as not to enter bus lane and before I know it I'm looking straight at the van and camera I stop and check to see if the camera would show up on the map because I thought maybe it did warn me, but I missed it and to my surprise, still nothing showing. So had to cancel subscription

Such an amazing app, given that it's has limited free services gutted sometimes it auto shuts even though I've turned the function off to not auto close. Most times have it running on the background and really does help in town/cities you never visited before. Fingers crossed Radarbot can fix the issue where it 1. Doesn't automatically close and 2. Continues to notify you or cameras, as in the free version it sometimes stop alerting and goes on silent mode.

The program does not work properly, especially at high speeds, delay occurs GPS and it's very slow and inaccurate at all, and in a very bad way. ***Edit*** "The program now works very well and all the shortcomings I mentioned previously have been addressed, after changing the mobile phone and the Android version, I rely on Radarbot now for all my travels., Really,.. thank you very much for this excellent program."

I did not manage to make this work in the background with Android Auto with the free version, when it comes to the "audio warning when exceeding the speed limit", unless I select a fixed speed, which is not very practical in real life driving. It would be great to have just this additional feature for the free version. For the rest, the app seems good even in the free version, but I did not test it yet in an area with speed cameras to assess how reliable it is.

Not so quick to give 5 star reviews anymore. Still under trial now. So far, I love RadarBot. Really like that it covers commercial trucks also, which I do drive. Hooks up to bluetooth without any issues. Tried the navigation feature, but it was off & that could have been my fault. All in time, this app will only get better & better with improvements & letting dev know what issues we are having with app. Good luck with app everyone. Stay safe.

this is in response to the two reviews below. 1. Google user: you did not read the intro, this is user generated content. if you see a camera and make an alert all other drivers with the app will be alerted of it when they come near. it says no cameras on route because as far as it knows there are not until users alert that there are. 2. apps opening random happens with all the updates and versions of phones with all kinds of app. if you uninstall and reinstall will most likely fix.

Paid version does not work, worthless! Tested the free version on one short trip in town and decided to buy the pro version same day today because of their claim the pro version works with/integrates with other apps and to get rid of the adds. Big mistake! I tested it with Google maps and waze and while it shows a small and useless window on top of the maps, ZERO warnings whe passing speed cameras which à couple of hours ago were signaled by the free version. I want my money back! And the free v

Updated to the latest version, but the issue still persists. Despite the fact that I have female voice in google settings (and ticked speech synthesis engine option in Radarbot itself of course) the app still gives some phrases like "you've entered/left the school zone" with male voice. Another strange thing - aforementioned synthesized female voice in app's "sound test" menu differs from what I hear while navigating with Radarbot. Otherwise the app is great! Especially with the latest update.

7/12/19 Update. They evidently are completely unaware that EVERY speed & red light camera in the City of El Mirage has been deactivated. Further evidence of their lack of awareness & poor reliability. Great idea, BUT many inaccuracies in this app regarding missing listings when there are speed & red light cameras present on the street, and wrong speed limits listed. Even when I email the company poining out these errors, nothing changes in the next update. Definitely can't rely on their listings.

What I do not like in this application, it signals about the cameras, which is not on way you go, but around your car, in some radius. It could be on cross street, for example, and you have to take a guess, where the camera actually located. I do not want to look at the map, most of the time, I just want to hear audio notifications and I want this notifications warn me on the way I go, not about entire neighborhood.

Seen 3 police cars on highway, Radarbot didn't show any alerts! Why have it if it's not going to work all of the time. It dose a lot of updates, updates come on every time I use the app. I paid 5.99 plus tax for something That I have no clue what's it for. I'm never going to trust this ever again, it shows it's on, and didn't show any alerts after seeing police sitting on highway. Don't trust that it's working or not. Still keep your eyes open and watch other traveler's speed and what they see.

This app is a great addition to your driver's toolkit. Due to rapidly growing demand for these devices (for signals & speed), technology keeps making them smaller and harder to locate by drivers. They also have many that are mobile. This app reminds drivers of everything you set it to remind you automatically, even while you're dealing with the many distractions both inside and outside of your vehicle. My only suggestion for improvement is to better integration with a GPS app.

Very frustrating to work with. The map auto zooms back onto your location every time you scroll out. I want to see if there are any radars on my way back and I have to constantly fight the app to get a clear answer. Even then most of the time the radars will not load on the map with a stable internet connection. The bloat from the ads and Gold subscription is too much also.

I tried the trial of the paid version for several days. I felt that Radarbot never distinguished itself favorably from Google Maps navigation. In many ways, Google Maps is superior: it provides lane information (although it is true that Google Maps' info is not always correct), much better voice navigation (the Radarbot voice sounds like navigation voices from 10 years ago), better system integration with Android Auto, and an overall better experience.

This has been an excellent program. It auto updates all photo radars. My only complaint is that when I try to enter info on a newly installed photo camera at an intersection I frequently receive an error message. Or if I've entered info on new camera after a couple days Radarbot dumps the alert. Nothing is perfect, but since there's no way to communicate with the Radarbot Customer Service department, I'm not convinced they care.

I guess it's doable but needs more work put into it. I paid for the premium on the first day thinking w/ that package, you'd be able to incorporate/sync your radar detector into the app but i was WRONG. Obviously you'll need an actual detector and a good one at that. The app alone won't work. If the app had Bluetooth capabilities to adjust the detector settings and whatnot at your fingertips and you were able to sync it, with all the apps features, it would def be better than Escort's app.

It's been generally a good experience. It's last year when I used it and this year it seems to catch all the radars. I know I didn't get any tickets last year. However, when I first purchased the ad free membership, the app went a little weird and showed no streets, , didn't know where it was, and should speed limits that were well out of range with reality. I rebooted and things work better. All I can say is I hope I didn't get a ticket during the time it wasn't working right

Authors now try make the app better! Easy to report new radars. The reporting fails with error message if no internet. The overlaying widget/warnings functionality is very good. On start of the app, however, one must always wait for the main screen to appear, including waiting for annoying db updates. Fails to propagate trajectory and to notify when driving from a tunnel (if no GPS).To my current understanding, the app has a popential to be the best and the only good app on the market.

The application is good (3 st. Many speed bumps are missing. The radar station locations are not accurate. I try to assist with updating the locations but the traffic is awful in Egypt. The smallest distraction can be fatal. The required system application updates are to frequent. I am not ready for a full upgrade until I see more improvements. However I do recommend the use so you all can assist with the accuracy.
