Cannot rate as I didn't complete sign up. Everything was ok until the application asked for my picture, full name, age and yet, gender had a 'prefer not to answer' option. For me, I avoid putting my picture on the internet, I prefer not to use my FULL name, age should be in categories and there should be text to state who gets to see this information. I did have high hopes as I'm a badminton player. Oh well. I wish you well racketpal and will recommend you to not so shy pals!

great idea, but poor app execution. App is slow and laggy. UX is terrible, on my phone, I cannot even access a game menu/option because the header bar is displayed under the phone's status info (top bar of the phone). that is a big issue, show lack of design, engineering and testing.

This is a good free app that does what it says. Its helped me meet a few tennis folks in the area to have a good hit and maybe become friends too, and begin to build a network. The interface is basic and generally easy to use. I think the main focus of the team should be to try to increase the user base with further marketing but also just as important to find a way to retain users either via rewards or partnering with other companies to offer something to use the app.

Love the idea of this but no trial period at all is terrible. I know apps can't run for free but you also cannot expect new users to buy the app without any trial use to see if they like it, ridiculous and a real shame. UPDATE after a reinstall it seems to work, I'm not sure if it's a trial period but i have access to the features and it seems to be good, , on first install you get blocked by a payment screen you can't get away from.

Easiest way to find new players near you if you're new to a city. You can DM a player directly or there are lot of venue specific communities to interact with and games tab shows some scheduled games which you can join directly. Only negative point I'd like to mention about this app is if more people come to know about this app and use it it'll be easier to connect with all players nearby and play more games too.

I've been wanting this app for so long, just didn't know it existed. If you're like me, and want to play your favourite racket sport, for me it's table tennis, but don't have a partner to play with, this is the app for you. So straightforward and simple interface. Got me in touch with plenty of players who I now play with on a regular basis. Cannot recommend this app more to be fair!!

Great app. Works well for matching with and contacting players in my area. It's possible to see a list of all the players in the area and then chat directly. Alternatively it's possible to schedule a match and everyone fitting the parameters will be notified prompting to join the match. The more ppl using the app the easier it will be to find players

The Racketpal app is very slow to use; opening, closing, sending messages, and going back takes an extremely long time. Why doesn't it work as fast as apps like WhatsApp, Instagram, or Facebook? For example, it takes 3-4 seconds just to open the page to write a message or read an incoming message, and it's very frustrating...

I've experimented with several apps to find a badminton partner in the UK for a while, but none proved helpful. Fortunately, after installing this app, I swiftly found a partner group to play with. Its user-friendly interface and reliable notification system make it a must-try for anyone seeking a sports partner. I'm unsure of its age, but if more people join, it would be even better.

Great idea, need better UX Love how I could connect with other players around but need more people to use it. There is a need of flexibility on description and amount of people involved for a game or practice. If you choose double, the app by default set to 4 which could be very annoying if you have someone else or want more to rotate. The 'date' part only showing evening doesn't help and I found it very frustrating. It needs to be more specific and what if I have a court between 4-6 ?

Mixed feelings in terms of user experience. It automatically selected my level as upper-intermediate, probably because I have been playing for over 20 years. But I am definitely NOT upper-intermediate and cannot change it manually. Secondly, I have tried to set up a game about 5 times, 4 times it showed as "practice" even though I had selected "match". Once again, no way for me to edit that, I'll have to delete and start again. Frustrating!!!

A fabulous app. It's great to find players for other racquet based sports. Particularly great for tennis. You can find players based on your convenient locations. Chat with other players of the tennis community of your preferences. You can join multiple communities as per your convenience. It also allows you to find players based on their prowess which is also nice . All in all it covers all the bases one may want to find players to play your game with . Simply fabulous.

Needs improvement. I paid for the app as there is no free version. It took several tries over almost 30 minutes to get an SMS code. After this, I can't move forward on the app to actually use the subscription. It ends up on a blank screen. I emailed the support contact but it's been crickets. Eventually had to uninstall and reinstall to get it to work Very poor of them.

Very useful for finding partners to play with. It is very handy for meeting fellow players. Highly organized and efficient. It's like Tinder or Bumble for players, actually better than them.

It was a great app until the latest update, now ads are constant and make it incredibly difficult to navigate through the menus. On top of that, it crashes often so you're forced to watch the same ad over and over. I understand they are a part of the business and how an app can stay free to use, but the overall experience has been greatly impacted.

Dont get me wrong. The app itself is good BUT a huge chunk of users in the app is not active/ghosts, ESPECIALLY for non-mainstream sports like table tennis, squash,etc. I've message many, organize events, but I've yet to find anyone who wants to play with me. If you're looking for other badminton players, i think it would be really helpful.
