Not much to say. I find the app fast & free of problems which suddenly appear & frustrate a user. It's quite an economical user of system resources. There are ads, but they do not bother users all that much. One thing that is quite frustrating about the over-use of predictive texting in other apps is that they just ASSUME that they know how to finish a word or expression, and correcting their guesses can be more trouble than it is worth.

I've tried emailing my issues but no response. It's getting worse. Latest update is annoying really. You type in something and for two times it tries to autofill an old address. You have to back space twice before being able to type something without auto populating. Other issue is often an existing tab open results in a blank screen when you go to search something new. Or if it has to refresh. Urgh. I want this app to work but it's got to get better. The app is getting worse but the minute

Unable to use the search functionality. No keyboard appears when you click on the box in middle of the page and seems to keep resetting itself. So therefore only able to use when I know full URL rather than a search engine. Thanks for the update. Tried reinstalling. The above issue is now fixed but overall the app does not work like it used to. It's buggy and slow. Takes forever to try and load any page and sometimes it just won't load anything. Such a shame as used to be a great app

The app is ok but there's a few features that are so aggravating, I'm considering permanently moving on. The biggest frustration is the lack of a forward button. You accidentally touch your phone the wrong way, and it goes back. If it's back to your browser, good luck if you want to get back to where you just were, esp. if you didn't open that page recently but were saving it for when you had time. Leads to the other problem:the lack of a "recently closed tabs" history. You'll never get back.

Qwant last release is a mess: not stable ( it keeps crashing) and with apparent time out issues. I want to use Qwant as it is a European engine and I love its privacy policy, but if it stays like it is now I have to leave it, at least temporarily.

I like the privacy and the blocker on this app. One thing I have noticed is that the bar on the bottom covers the bottom of the web page making it impossible to purchase tickets etc.

Overall a good app even though set to English the important info about services and such are not in English and no translate options shown. Seems rather glitchy and jerky at times. Submitting feedback the screen image shakes like crazy and closes feedback.

Okay now we have a real browser in our hands. The Search bar is lovely for top or bottom, its beautifully modernized, & still running in gecko. I love the menu plus the adblock which is now on the left, plus the adblock has its whitelist option too, while on the right we have a lightning⚡️bolt that clears everything like ddg. I enjoy the speed I get now with Qwant. As for scrolling news at the bottom seems pretty neutral. I believe Qwant made a great leap forward so Qwant will remain my home🙂

Navigating is awful with no 'forward' button, so you cannot return after bumping the Android 'back' button. Today the main menu changed drastically, with no update warning of any kind. New lightning bolt icon appeared, tab layout changed, location of some buttons flipped to opposite side of screen; I can find no record or help reference on Qwants main site about updates or a change log, of any kind. How am I supposed to verify if the app was updated or hacked?

Not happy with the app updates. The screen now turns dark when you try to return. This means that you cannot fill in forms by copying and pasting information in the fields. When you return to the pages, you have to refresh, which clears everything that was previously entered, not to mention the additional time you have to wait for the screen to refresh. I think it's time for a new default browser.

It was great until the update. Now the screen goes black and it crashes constantly, nevermind the complete layout change. It also set my search area to the uk which I'm no where near. I've also notice fb app is able to still track my algos in this app which is super disappointing. Definitely switching to something else.

Great little browser with a good a blocker. I would love it if there was an option to move the new tab button to the bottom.

I've tried to degoogle as much as humanly possible but after uninstalling Google completely I found there was no alternative to Play Store to download apps from. So I had to reinstall it to use that feature. It would be nice to have an alternative on Qwant.

I installed this in 2020 after leaving Duck Duck Go and with every update it seems to get worse. Websites take forever to load, turning Bluetooth on while watching causes the video to stop and a new problem of losing connectivity with this browser while everything else will work fine. If I could give it 0 rating I would.

I like this browser, really easy and straightforward to use, private, plus it's good to have news suggestions from a variety of media outlets, not just UK/US. There was a problem with the bookmarks which the new update solved. However since this morning I'm unable to access search results, both on my Android phone and desktop computer. It says temporarily unavailable. Is there an outage? Thanks.

Its a pretty awesome app and idea. My biggest issue after getting used to how it searches is the fact that my thumbnails on the pages I have open dont show up. So instead of being able to see what is on what page at a glance you have to click on each page to find what you are looking for each and every time.

I got this Qwant app because of the privacy claim, the lack of ads, & the blocking of trackers, etc. However, since using it I've noticed that I have trouble opening many webpages and other apps as well. Also, whenever I open a webpage that asks me to upload something, the upload won't work, no matter how many times I reload. But if I try to do the same upload thru Chrome, it works perfectly. I don't want to be using apps that don't support privacy. But Qwant is really not working well at all.

I love the concept but please fix the autofill and give most importantly give us an options in settings to turn off autofill. The autofill in this browser is super annoying and always overwrites what I'm trying to type, often several times in a row after backspacing and trying to start over. No idea who would want this feature to work this way.

It seems better than the Brave app and that's saying a lot. But there is one big flaw with it. There is no forward and back arrow for web pages on the Qwant search. If you go to any other website it pops up like normally. If you accidentally swiped back on a website while using the Qwant search bar you have to find it again as there is no forward option for navigating web pages... You can't zoom in or download images from google images also I noticed. If this is fixed I will rate it 5 stars.

I love the app concept, but very difficult to navigate back to previously viewed webpages, which is an important part of web navigation, especially reviewing a list of search results. Swiping left from right edge sometimes just closes the app, the "back" button at the bottom is often not even clickable. There are no navigation settings options, how do people even go back to previous pages in this thing?!
