The old game was nice and simple, for one-time fee the ads were gone if one wanted to. In the new version EVERYTHING is worse. It is much much slower in starting up, overloaded with additional stuff (e.g. arena, shop) that at least I don't want, the price to get rid of ads is outrageously expensive. And given the previous experience that one pays for something that is then not valid/available anymore a month later I would not pay anything to them. I better donate it to a homeless.

Only Good for playing with friends, everything else is trash The Ads are such a pain in the ass that it removes most of the fun playing this game. Tokens are a complete and utter joke, I rather just play quiz up, there I can play as much as I want without having to wait 30 seconds. Furthermore, the event questions are repetitive and predictable which after playing for 30 mins enables you to remember the correct responses, that's not the essence of a typical quiz game, right?

Game works fine - that would make 4-5 stars. The one star review caused by the forced upgrade to the "new Quizduell". If you had the premium version of the previous now "old Quizduell" with the same core functionality (I don't care for the arena stuff...) you now have to pay a fee to get rid of advertisement again. I get that new features are not for free. Make a second game then. But screwing old paying customers with a forced "upgrade" is not the way to go... So one star is all I can give.

Used to be a fun trivia game to quiz with other people, now it's just an ad filled scam, full of microtransactions and pay 2 win game modes. And if that wasn't enough, the ads also repeatedly let the app freeze and crash, costing you attempts, progress and nerves. Would gladly pay for an ad-free version, but not for the overpriced subscription they are offering.

Pretty good game for those who want to expand their knowledge. However the last update is disappointing. Ok the display is nicer. But you can't see anymore the stats of the opponents, your perfect games stats (percentage useless), much less information than before. Moreover it's very annoying to have people thinking this is a dating app. Please remove all the people whose the score is sub 0, it would help to sort things out. Once you'll have those 2 points fixed, you'll get 4-5 stars from me.

The app is still getting worse, new gameplay is providing a lot of fake gamers and fake results. The whole app is only fake and focused on app ads

Finally the new version is without ads for me. But recently I got hard questions, but my opponent got easy questions in the same round. That makes the whole game pointless.

Forced to watch ads due to not having energy or coins to play. Coins can be bought with real money. Game = not fun.

Way too many ads. Imagine playing a 30 second quiz just to be greeted with an unskippable 1 minute ad. Great job

I don't mind that there are ads, but they are annoyingly long, so I often leave the game. I don't want Monopoly or this stupid King !!!!

Used to be great, now its full with ads and limits you to energy that refills with time. I paid for the ad free version, saying its "new" is a scam. Thatd be okay if i could still play the old version but you cant. They even removed some of the skins that i used to have that are now behind a paywall. Shame

People from all over the world play this game yet questions seem to be focusing on American history and only the imperial system is used in questions about measuring. There should be more diversity in the questions and an option to chose the metric system.

I kinda like this game but the only problem is the notifications. Everytime I played against an opponent after like 3 rounds I have to wait until I get a notification telling me it's my turn but I had to wait for a long time telling me it's my turn.

Too many ads in the game. You spend more time watching ads than actually playing. Furthermore, many people start a game and don't finish it so you have to wait 48 hours before the game ends. Please ban people that don't play. I blocked some people and I still find them in random games!

I am completely losing interest in NewQuizDuel after that last update. In trying to fix the problem with cheaters reloading the adds, they got rid of adds-for-tickets and now you have to use golden tickets right away after your daily blue tickets run out. Also the (X10) feature kills any strategy for winning medals if at the last minute someone you never saw coming can use one of those and grab a medal

This new version is a pure cash grab. I already paid for the premium version and was forced to update to this version which has constant ads. Premium is now on subscription basis (and wildly overpriced at a ridiculous $6 a month, too). On top of all that, the app is extremely slow, and only launches properly half the time. I'd say give this a miss.

The old one worked fine for years (other than the notifications were hit or miss). The new one has started freezing (and I've uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times.) Today's latest is I can't even open it, getting an error message that it keeps stopping so it won't even open or let me uninstall it without going to the Play Store. Boo! It was a fun game. Probably time to find a new one.

After being forced to use the new version instead of the old one, this one is now fully infested with ads. I paid for a premium account back when there was still the old app and now I have to endure all these ads?! Well there is the option of buying a premium subscription to go ad-free, for 5€ a month!! Seriously?! On a side note, the new app works way worse than the old one but I guess for them to be able to make us watch ads or buy a subscription they had to switch us over

Like this game very much, it checks most of the boxes... Except for one very important thing.You must wait around for your opponent to decide to finish the match you started, making you begin yet another match just to get play, somewhat like Trivia Crack. (Luckily, there are different kinds of matches which don't require the wait.) Still, if you weren't forced to leave the game you're in, to find something else to do meantime, this would be a much better game. 🤔😐
