It doesn't show holiday schedules you have to go online. I ended up missing the train this morning because I rely on this for any schedule changes. The schedule is still not up to date. I've switched to Ventra, the trains are live on this app. Hasn't been wrong so far

The only issue I have is that when Metra is running special schedules, the app does not update for the departure times for trains running or not running on that date. You have to refer to the special schedule, which is not easy to find either online or hard copy at the Chicago station.

Great app, I can travel about town on public transportation with great confidence of where I'm going and when I'll arrive. I don't use public transportation that often but when I do it's reassuring to know I can count on this app to plan my route with accuracy in real time with timely updates. Thanks and keep up the good work.

I love this app when it works. But the weekend Metra schedules have been wrong for months - every Saturday I have to use a different app to track trains. Plus every time there's a Monday holiday, they change to the holiday schedule and then don't change it back, sometimes for weeks. Today is the Thursday after a Monday holiday, and this app is still showing the Sunday/holiday schedule for my Metra line. Just reloaded Metra sched--now shows next train today in 10 hours. WRONG. Rock Island line.

Accurate best describes this app. I had been using a different app, but the updates made it impossible to see my connection options. So far so good. Additionally, I can see Pace and Metra schedules. Outstanding!

Great app that I use daily for a variety of bus routes and train schedules. The shortcuts and customized labeling is a nice touch along with the ability to click a button and put a route in the calendar.

Still by far the best transit app for CTA and Metra. Works well, looks great, the developer is responsive to bug reports and it respects your privacy by not requiring unneeded permissions and not showing ads. I give it my highest recommendation!

I'm very pleased with this app. It's nice to have a list of favorites on the first screen so I can click on the exact stop I need for my commute, since I usually take public transportation only to a few of the same places. I've also found the estimated arrival times to be very accurate so far. Glad I found this!

Late notification of 1/2 hour delay caused me to miss a very important event. It was too late to drive. I was notified by the speakers at Edgebrook stn before any info appeared on app. Blaming it on METRA doesn't help. This was not the first time. Accurate and timely reporting of delays is crucial... No matter who is ultimately responsible for the data.

Thanks you so much for the app Mark. What's up with metra? It is never correct. Example, it shows departed on time when the train is 10 minutes away. The GPS shows it is far away. Any way to use GPS to sync it? Thanks again

Hi Mark, I would like to suggest that the customer be allowed to select the calendar date after a Metra route has been selected versus selecting the departure and arrival first, e.g., NCS only runs on weekdays and I'm not allowed to select a calendar date afterwards when checking on the Metra during the weekend to plan a trip for the week. I'd have to wait until Monday to do it. It makes it tough to use your app to schedule or make plans for a real scenario in my case.

This is a great app, but it's no longer working in real time for me. I'm on the UP-Milwaukee West line, and the app hasn't been updating for me since the beginning of September. It worked perfectly until then, even with short (2 min) delays, but now it's not, and I even did the map update. I'm currently waiting for what I thought was an on time train, but there's a 14 min delay for track construction that the app hasn't picked up. I'm not sure what happened but the app is no longer accurate.

I've been using this app for a couple years now and love it. This app is awesome, especially for someone that chooses not to drive because of typical reasons of driving. Very accurate. Also, if there is an issue with the app and the developers are notified they will take care of it as well as get back to you about the issue. Thank you so much for creating this app as well as being kind to get back to me and fix the issue.

Updated from 4* to 5*. Autorotation fixed. Thank you! Updated: App screen orientation box is unchecked (portrait orientation). Phone orientation is locked (portrait orientation) But the app still keeps rotating. After the latest update this app useless. The refresh button disappeared. To refresh the arrival time I need to save a bus route stop, close the app, and then open it again. Auto rotation is killing and annoying.

As of September 2019 this app stopped updating. Has no schedule old or new. Posted a review stating this. Developer instantly responded. Had to go to setting to force an update. As someone who also does this for a living would recomend an auto update when the app itself displays "no schedule available from metra". Its not apparent that user has to find a setting to get a schedule. (And yes I see that maybe it would have done it 5 days later). In general the best metra app as far as usability.

Most reliable app for Chicago transit I've found. I moved here from Seattle 7/2018, and was used to the transit app created and managed by the transit districts so I assumed Chicago would have the same. That is not the case and their stuff is clunky, and just cumbersome if it works reliably at all. I am so glad I found this app! You have saved my bacon. I know can plan my fun trips into downtown and not hope I can catch a train back. the alerts on Metra are HUGE! Thank you!!!

This is by far the best app I've used that's easy to understand and very accurate. However, as of today's date I had to remove a star. Now it seems when I tend to remove a favorite bus stop, the options box is totally to the right of my screen. I can't see the entire words, only the first letters of each option. For example, "Remove favorite" only shows RE...and so on. Is there any way this can be made smaller? That's the only problem I'm having since I've updated the app.

Best app in the play store. The sheer dedication to improvements and updates should be text book for all developers. Left this review while looking for the donation button. Cheers. Update, I still like the app but.... After the last update it is rotating orientation despite being disabled on the device. Also the what's new page displays every time I reopen even to check for stop updates. The little refresh button, bottom right is gone.

The favorites use is when you do not have time to scroll thru all steps to get to the stop you need. Great convenience for everyday stops. Just tap on it, and it's there. You can even hold on to a selection and move that selection to the order you want. I have a Samsung Note 8 and Samsung Ultra 23. I have the app on both, and for each, I have put the order of use, ŵand it will change while setting the order and again when the closing the app. My phones are updated. Frustrated!

Been using this app for a while. So far, the information has been accurate in an easy to use interface. This is the way transit apps should be. This app eliminates a number of other apps that I have been using for transit over the years. Excellent app. The only drawback at this point is that the app tends to crash after a while if you are checking the PACE bus schedules. I have to uninstall then re-install. This only happens with PACE. Other than that it is a great app for all my transit needs!
