I'm fairly disappointed with this app so far. I've been a user of mint for the past several years, but since they shut it down, I've needed to find another app. Simplifi has some good features. I like the bill tracking, I like the projected available cash each month, and I like the real time updates of my investment portfolio. I don't like the nightmare of asset tracking (a huge part of net worth), or the bugs with getting the bill tracking accurate. For a paid service, I expect more.

I want to use this program so badly. It works. The spending plan layout is brilliant because it automatically includes your bills and subscriptions in the plan, so you don't have to manually add it to your budget. Additionally the plan also allows you to add your planned spending (ie. Groceries, Gas) without having to to create a reoccurring transaction or another workaround. I just can't take advantage because Quicken doesn't work with my primary bank...and hasn't for at least a year now.

Has not updated my transactions from my bank account since Feb 2nd. I've refreshed this app several times to no avail. I need real-time updates. This is unacceptable. I really wanted to like this app. Also, not pulling in my mortgage bill for this month, and when I manually try to add it, it does not show up in the search. There are too many inconsistencies in this app that lead to inaccurate results.

2 days in So far so good. Pros: Easy UI & setup. Auto sync with accounts, loans & investments. Ease of tracking spending. Transfers auto excluded. Income/expense . Creating sub categories. Set goals & auto link w/ transaction, Track Con: Can't delete not applicable categories. Unable to create loan amortization to separate principle/finance charges/fees; however, you can do it manually. No multi-currency support.

Can't even check it out without paying for a subscription, which I'm not going to do until I know if I actually want to use the app. Not sure if everyone else was able to bypass it to use a free version, but right after I created an account it went to a page about paying for a year subscription with no way to close it, select a trial, or opt to use the free version with ads and whatnot. No thanks. Not giving money blindly.

Quicken Simplifi had been great for me so far. They need to fix some of the web app and phone app interfaces to be more friendly and appealing. Additionally, sometimes it has syncing issues. Other than that, I am very pleased with everything!! Worth it in my opinion!!

Addicting personal finance app for people with simple to moderately complex finances. Makes me want to save more money! The only thing I'm confused about is setting recurring spending activity and watch lists. It feels like they almost solve the same problem of budgeting, but they are not connected and I often have redundant configuration.

Horrible on future and upcoming transactions. Set up recurring payments and incomes which don't update to the daily registry or list of current transactions. Tried to get some online support and utterly useless. The help guy I was talking to basically hung up on me. Was not helpful and didn't understand what I was trying to fix. Had to link a recurring transaction to a transaction but the link showed no transactions! I won't sync my accounts to it, just want to use it in a manual input way.

Gives me the best view into all my finances. Especially like the aggregated reports on spending categories and net worth (which is either missing in many other apps or very manual and time consuming). Takes a bit to setup, but once it is -- it does a great job of automating which means more time for planning and goal setting.

Revising higher... This is from intuit, it's basically mint with a fee. Odd that they push you to CK. Intelligence in how it organizes transactions could be better. Dashboard is awful compared to competitors on mobile. Having said all that... It works, it's reliable, and it's highly customizable at a reasonable price. I found myself liking it quite a bit with some time.

Solid. Changing dates on split transactions (to move a single lump payment into the multiple months it belongs to) needs work, but that is the only issue I've found working with it so far. The app does take a little time to work out, but once you are trained to it runs well in the background with minimal input/correction. I used Mint to budget monthly for almost a decade and this was a pretty painfree jump.

We switched from Quicken classic and absolutely love it. It sinks so well between our devices and is so easy to use. The product team does a great job listening to the online community and adding new features all the time. I would highly recommend this! The price is small and I have to do tons of research on other budgeting apps and trying them, this one is by far the best.

i love this app! I have been a mint user for years and ended up paying for simplify after mint went away and wish i would have done it a long time ago! Two issues i wish could be addressed would be using investment accounts for goals (why on earth is this not an option?) and having some kind of way to roll over savings (or deficits) on budgets from month to month would also be helpful. Otherwise I have no other real complaints. Worth the money for sure!

Looks like it would be useful if it wasn't so broken! There are bugs and errors everywhere, and accounts that sync perfectly through Mint throw constant errors even though it's the same system. Sometimes if you get an error, you can just try two or three more times and it works, but sometimes it never links. Account balances stay at zero even though you've refreshed them and they show a balance.

The app is decent overall. However, I wish there was some quality of life improvements. I wish the information was organized better, so it's not overwhelming. There should be a hierarchy of visual information, with the most used and viewed on display, and not everything at once. Second, I miss Mint's widgets. Having key information at a glance without having to open up the entire app was so important. I'm considering leaving simply because of that omission.

This app doesn't deliver what was promised - a mobile budget & finance app I could share with my husband. They do not advertise that I have to have a computer. This is misleading. I asked for my money back within 24 hours of buying a yearly subscription (because monthly was not an option and there is no free trial period). Simplifi said I have to go through Google Play store for a refund. The real problem is Simplifi is not as advertised. I want my money back.

I came from Mint. Simplifi is VERY complicated compared to mint. I'm a regular guy, a few bank accounts, a few retirement accounts, HSA, auto loan, a few credit cards. It's impossible for simplify to sync all of these accounts. At least one of them is always having problems, always says it needs to be reconnected and then you reconnect and nothing happens. It's pretty impossible to see your overall cash flow, it breaks down into each individual account, but not a comprehensive cash flow.

This app is great, having switched from Mint. However, there are so many bugs/issues with adding/syncing accounts. I have reached out to support and they still haven't fixed it. Then they close the ticket even though it's not resolved. I've had issues with TreasuryDirect.gov doesn't work, some other accounts that were down for a while, and now my Betterment account cannot reconnect. I haven't bothered submitting a ticket because you go back and forth with customer service that it gets maddening.

I'm just so sick of double downloads from the bank and erroneous upcoming bills, etc. If have to do everything manually anyway it's easier to just start fresh with my own spreadsheet. This doesn't link w all my accounts anyway so it can't even automatically get an accurate picture even without constant double entries as imaginary bills coming and whatnot.

Web version worked for the first week, but ever since then it just loads a blank white screen when I log in. Tried different browsers and engines. Customer service gave me the run around and ultimately directed me to a line that didn't even pick up. Waste of money. I'm trying out Monarch and like it a lot more at this point. The base features work a lot better right off the bat.
