A great App! At work, I can't access my phone so this a great way to send myself notes, lists, sites, etc. I used to send myself a few emails everyday (lists, URLs, notes, etc.). It was messy since my notes would be mixed in with all my other emails. Push Bullet solves the problem. The phone to Chrome also works great. If this app cost a few dollars, it would be worth paying for. Thank you! 2021 Update (9 years after original review): I stopped using this app for a number of years, and rediscovered it. So glad that I did. Responding to SMS & What's App messages from my computer and tablet works great. Pop alerts on the PC are also great, and so easy to mute when they get in the way.

I like the idea of a universal messenger, but unfortunately it has some limitations, even in the premium version, as well as pretty useless Android widgets, they just don't connect to my PC Chrome channel (i don't know about other channels), hope to see it fixed, as well as the limitations removed, and please fix the problem when it don't send some files. Also I would really like to see a black theme, not just dark, but really black, anyway, thank you for your work, can't wait to change it to 5 stars.

I believe in supporting devs by paying for good apps, and I have even subscribed to a couple that are indispensable. I would gladly pay $10 one time, or even $1.99 a month, for this kind of service, but I can't afford the price this is set at. I'll just live without the extra convenience once I hit 100 texts/mo (which isn't very many). It's very useful for moving files, photos, etc. between devices.

The app doesn't seem to sync notifications between Android devices. It only syncs between my phone & laptop, but, ultimately I'd like to see all devices be in sync. As others mention, you can't always tell who the messages are from or it gets them wrong. Since we upgraded to Android 10, app doesn't work when phone is locked. When you send a SMS from your laptop, it doesn't push until you unlock your phone, making the app fairly useless. Its a great app idea, but doesn't seem to be well supported

Overall, pretty useful. I like the channels more than I'd expected. I wish I could remove pro options from my PC & browser notifications so I didn't have to try to not accidentally click on buttons which will just open a new window for a thing I'm not going to pay for and disrupts my workflow. But I use it quite a bit to send links & files between devices quickly and to respond to texts and other messages. Replies aren't 100% reliable, though. It's too bad there's no picture input for responses.

Trying out PushBullet this past several days. Some issues that I've contacted their support about and it's day 3 and still no response. From the web SMS Texting... Not all texts are syncing and I'm not getting all notifications when I so receive texts. Also. It appears you can't send group texts from the web??? Attachments aren't working when trying to send a text from the web. So ... a lot issues if you intend to use this for texting from browser or from the chrome extension app.

Free version is limited to 100 texts per month. It wasn't like this before with Pushbullet. But I can see that the chance of having a subscription model was too tempting, so free features were culled... Horrible experience, I will use another app that doesn't harvest all my data and charge me obscene monthly fees if I want to send more than 100 texts a month.

For the first few months of use it was a great tool, but as of late I've had to reinstall it several times because the app is automatically redownloading everything I have ever received via pushbullet to no end, which has softlocked my phone on several occasions. As far as I know there is no solution. Deleting my pushbullet history appears to be a placebo as it returns after I refresh.

It is reliable to connect, I've found between devices. However there are some small but important things I miss that will start me hunting again for an app. I do not like SEND ON ENTER. Sometimes some awful scenarios can happen from that. I do not care for the fact that I cannot find how to DELETE a MESSAGE or just one conversation. When I get multiple security one time codes I don't like my SMS file tree being filled up with them. I can't find how to delete them, and submitting a request got only boilerplate "LET US TELL YOU WHAT PUSHBULLET CAN DO" ... I'm concerned about these things apparently you can't do. While the 3 might seem minor I miss them. I hope I don't have to go back to google messages or mysms. smh

Text messages sent from my laptop are stuck in pending until I unlock my phone (if I wanted to go pick up my phone why would I send the messages from Pushbullet on my PC??). I've noticed that most texts are not mirrored to my PC, or appear multiple hours after they were received. This happens on two different PCs, one using the Chrome extension and one using the desktop app. Messages sent from Pushbullet on my PC don't consistently show on my phone. It seems like Android has changed how it handles SMS, and Pushbullet hasn't kept up. Particularly since my carrier switched on RCS, it's been basically useless. I've been a Pro subscriber for many years but am now cancelling because it straight up doesn't work anymore. You can't ask people to pay for a product that just stops working.

The best way to rapidly share snippets like notes or web pages between devices, especially convenient for bridging your phone to your pc. I find it much more convenient for basic text / )web page transfers than airdroid, and further serves as an easy way to of sending Todos/notes between your phone and PC or multiple pcs, even to a browser. Also messages sent to a specific device can still be accessed by other pushbullet clients , so you don't have to msg each one. Easy 5* for the free version.

The thing stopped working. Said to Update on Phone, and there is NO way to do that! Tried their site, and all other ways I know how. Bad. UPDATE: Got it working, Became a PRO user. HOWEVER, I got a new computer and tried to re-install. Now it is just stuck. I've tried reaching their "customer service" email MANY MANY times and they simply don't respond.

Doesn't work consistently. I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 and Google Chrome. Many many (MANY) times, texts would be coming in on my phone but not on my computer. That defeats the whole purpose. If I'm sitting in a meeting and want the texts to come up on my computer and they don't, for hours on end, what is the point of you? I moved to this from Mighty Text for the same reason. Moving on to a 3rd option.

Unfollow wouldn't work, had to uninstall and reinstall to make it go away. Once notifications are blocked, there's no way to unblock them. Can't get devices to populate in browser, making that useless. And PC app is pretty crappy. Only good thing I can say is it does at least seem to do a good job of pushing notifications. But with nothing else working, that's not enough to get me to keep it.

It used to be ok. Never perfect but it worked fine. Nowadays, I get more and more failed attempts of transferring or doing anything really. So after thinking for a while I figured out that I'm wasting far more time trying to make Pushbullet work than uploading the files anywhere else. So I'm uninstalling it now for good and just dropping this comment for the ones who are thinking about trying it out, to spare them the frustrations.

Been using this app for years but recently began getting screen freeze, "stuck-key" mistypeeeeeeees and maxed-out CPU resource consumption on all three Windows 10 PCs that had Pushbullet installed. Even reset and reloaded 1, a Surface 4 Pro i7. After a painful diagnosis, closing Pushbullet app and ending process fixed all 3. Loved it when it worked but unusable now. Til it's fixed, I'm out.

9/17/19: Well, since I didn't need the service anymore thanks to web-based text messaging via Android, I cancelled my service. Well, they pulled an AOL and charged me again. 2017: Love this app. I hate having my phone go off while at work, but silencing it means possibly missing an important text or call. Pushbullet lets me know when a call is coming in or I've received a new text message as a pop-up in Windows 10. I am frequently sending myself files via e-mail,. but with PushBullet I can simply share the file and it'll be everywhere I need it. It has a Chrome plugin and a standalone Windows App. It's not purrrrfect. For unknown reasons, sometimes a text says it's pending in Pushbullet but has actually sent. This doesn't happen often. Two features I'd love to see: 1) START a group text. I can reply to a group in Pushbullet, but can't start one. 2) Individual blocking/muting. I can turn off notifications for individuals on my phone, but Pushbullet still notifies me when a text comes in.

This ap was outstanding, and I used it just about every single day. But then they updated it and now they want to charge a monthly price in order to send as many messages as you want. I am not going to pay monthly for this, and instead the minute I hit my "monthly limit" I am uninstalling it and finding a new one. I would even pay a price upfront, but it's the same price as Spotify so there is no way I'm paying monthly.

Extremely bad, never updated, app stops working after a couple days in the background, texts are not end to end encrypted, pro features don't work as described and the support team is non existant. Unfortunately there aren't many alternatives to this deceptively simple issue of transferring data between a computer and a phone.

Used to be great. No longer can send pictures between devices, they just "are downloading" forever. Too bad, really. Update: sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it will show you the connected devices, and sometimes it just forgets them. It seems this is an incredibly fragile app, that has unknown conditions in order to work reliably, and that's presuming it really can even do that.
