Ok app. Connections work to both my Pure scooters. Lights turn on and off, lock mechanism is responsive too. However, lock mechanism is easily hacked. I downloaded the app on another phone, started an account with another email address and was able to connect to a "locked" scooter and unlock it. So it will not help prevent theft or other family members using it. Easy to unlock by anyone who downloads the app. No other features to write about. Needs a lot more creative thought and integration to map apps and the like.

[Edit] app wont even open even after uninstalling and reinstalling. Can't lock my scooter at all now. It's really slow to recognise and connect with my scooter even though my phone will only be cm away from it. I often have to entirely clear my phone of all apps, and restart the pure app and manually press find scooter. It adds up to 5mins of my locking up process everytime and is really frustrating.

Update - review edited to take account of the swift removal of the app from the playstore and prompt turnaround of a solution. App now does everything they designed it to do! Previous review - Doesn't connect, crashes when signing up. I was excited to see that you had released the app finally, but what a disappointment. I suggest you remove the app and only publish it when you've actually bug checked it.

As many other reviews say this doesn't work on Google Pixel 8 Pro. The app doesn't start. This is a known issue since 2023. Still not fixed. That's a complete disgrace to hold such important fix for months. Says it all about the Pure support.

Dear Purecompany, I am writing to express my disappointment with the Pure Scooter app. As a recent convert from Ninebot Segway, I was eager to try your product, but I have been let down by the app's performance. Unlike even the most affordable Chinese scooters, which come with their own accessible apps, the Pure app keeps crashing and is virtually inaccessible. This is not the level of quality I expected from your company. I hope you will address this issue as soon as possible. Thank you

App just opens and instantly closes then makes me submit a crash report doesn't work on samsung Ultra s24 **Pures Response We're sorry to hear this and it's a known issue, our App developers are currently working to find a resolution as quickly as possible and so we apologise for the inconvenience. Once this has been updated you should receive a notification enabling you to use the App as normal. In meantime you should be able to use a different device to connect to the App

6 months of since the Pixel 8 was launched and there is still not an updated version the app that does not crash when opening. Impressive scooter let down by poor support for the app. When spending £600 on a product you would expect the app to be updated to support the latest android phones.

As with other users, this app won't open on galaxy S24. The last update was December 23, and it was a known issue then, but still no fix 5 months on. This is very disappointing as a valuable safety feature can not be used if you are an S24 user with no access to alternative devices. Unacceptable timescales for app updates and no indication of anything changing soon

App works if you keep it open all the time. But if you go on another app, lock your phone, minimise it, pop up screen or half screen. It doesn't like and hangs. I then have to force close and reopen it. The lock mechanism is most useful but a pain to use due to above problems. Also talks about setting a pin code for your scooter but seems to be no method to do this through the app.

App doesn't work on newer Android phones. Emailed support. They are aware but they have no ETA on the fix. Honestly, it sounds like they're not even trying to fix it given that the last update was almost half a year ago. Very sad as the scooters are good entry level scooters.

If I could give zero stars I would. App immediately closes after opening it. Contacted Pure Customer service who gave the most impractical "solution" try it on another device. Like that's going to work. Clearly Pure are happy to take Customers money but don't deliver in after sales service. Message to Pure - your app hasn't been updated since Dec 2023. Do something about it & get rid of the Developers. Customers don't have the luxury of having two devices. Find v.399 or below and it will work

The application keeps closing itself and does not even open on the Samsung S24 Ultra. I am unable to use the application on my mobile phone, although it functions properly on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. I have attempted to uninstall and reinstall the application, but it continues to crash. This is disappointing as I am unable to utilize the full potential of my scooter.

I purchased a new Pure advanced plus electric scooter yesterday, 24th June 2024 in Melbourne, Australia. I have been trying to set up my scooter and connect it to the pure electric application. The application was successfully installed but, iam not able to open the app, it keeps crashing. I am using a pixel 8 Pro and the setting shows my phone is compatible with the app. Please help me resolve this issue .

Oct 2023 Edit: App does not work at all with my new Pixel phone under Android 14... Original: The app, even though basic, works fine... However I feel it could use some new features such as: -accessing the charging state, even when the scooter is off and getting a notification when the scooter is fully charged. -having a history of each trip (number of km/mi, duration, battery percentage used, maps trip, average speed...)

After registering my e scooter I haven't been able to connect it to the app at all, it keeps giving errors. It worked maybe 3 times, but after 10 minutes in stand-by, the connection was gone and the scooter turned itself off. The scooter itself has been great so far, but I haven't been able to use the app, which is really annoying. I have already reinstalled the app, tried reconnecting etc, but nothing works. Hoping for a fix asap. I'll be updating this review later.

The application is very basic. It can be used to do the firmware updates and enable the cruise control and have some complementary information (total of kilometers, remaining range). Of course, we could expect much more from the app: stats, trip history, tips, etc. Also, it is not possible to keep the dashboard information from the scooter without being connected to it. For the CO2 saver, I would suggest to give the possibility to the user to enter its own average.

Just bought the air3 pro+ scooter and it'd be great to have these added to the app... It's a pain having to search for the scooter on Bluetooth each time you open the app, It'd be nice to be able to remember which scooter you used last and just auto connect. Maybe even just have the app running in th4 background when not using it. When you do open the app and it doesn't connect, can you have everything greyed out but be able to see your last battery percentage/mileage/time used. Dark mode too
