Don't buy this unit if you want to control it via app! The app is super buggy, half of the buttons are not working, always messages like "something went wrong" and "no content available". I've had the app for some time and nothing has changed from the dev team. Rate 1/10!

There is no possibility to change the fan speed manually. Which makes me sad. Auto day mode on my Air purifier genius is alnost all the time doing nothing. I have to use Silent mode to make it work at least on the low speed. Add manual fan speed adjustment!

Never managed to connect to any metworks at any home I ran that application for my purifiers. Tedious, not working at all, both on new and old networks. Revolting. But hey, why do we need good wifi on a product costing 350 EUR that is just a fan with filters.

I have two pu6080 Rowenta Pure Air Connect XL devices. One uses this app and the other uses the 'other' Pure Air app. Why? Now i have two separate apps, one for each machine what a horrible surprise. Who on earth thought this would be a good idea? Please tell me there is a update or something that will make my life easier.. also, its time to integrate with google home folks... Its 2021!

The app only offers two kinds of devices to connect to, neither of which is mine. Why don't you have all your models in there? Update: By switching the language on my phone to the native tongue of the country I am in (which is the native tongue of multiple countries) I was offered the model I have, installed it and switched back to English. Of course it's very international here and people speak many languages so this is stupid, why not offer every device in each language, especially English?

Faut améliorer d'urgence votre App Rowenta! Having same problem mentioned in other reviews and connect purifier. I click on 'associate my purifier' and get message about Rowenta helping you in each step to associate purifier, continue from there only to be presented with a blank blue screen headed 'my products' with 'Finish' button below! Come on solve this guys, the purifier itself is otherwise an excellent product just a shame that the App is completely useless!

Terrible. There are two products to choose from in the app, and none is the one I've just bought. Avoid Rowenta purifiers, this is my lesson learned.

It's doing it's job BUT!!! - The app is full of bugs. I can't add my girlfriend to control the air purifier. She can see the device but it's not able to click on it. After clicking on FAQ all I can see is just a black screen. Can't change the language of the app. It is also super hard to pair with Google home. When it comes to Google home - I can't control the air purifier from the Google home app, all I can see is a turn on and turn off toggle, no controls for modes or anything. 3/5 - works but

I was unable to add the Pure Air Genius at first. The app sent me to a French registration page and, once registered there was no way of actually registering a device as the device registration page displayed nothing other than a non functional 'finish' button. The installation did work on another older phone. It turned out to be a language setting issue; switching the phone to my local language (Netherlands) solved the issue. After setting up the device I could switch back to English. Great!

This app is buggy although I did manage to get the filter connected to Wi-Fi quite easily (try turning off 5g on your router to force device to connect on 2.4g). "Rate the app" button suggests sending an email but doesn't add the send address. Fan speed appears to be incorrect, says speed 1 but I can't feel any air flow. I have a red circle for VOCs (aqi 70) but filter says air quality is excellent and often the fan is at 0.

With LG V30 smartphone running on android 9 I can't connect the purifier to my Internet at home. Like other users already stated I just get to the point where you could choose your device. But I don't see any, just a blank screen with a finish button that is not working. On two other smartphones, Samsung Galaxy S8 running on android 9 and a Sony Xperia Z5p running on Android 7 I can associate the purifier. Until the very last step is failing again and again. Which is connecting to the cloud.

Purchased the same device as Ramonster163 also the same problem. Phone was already in Engish (Netherlands). I have a Samsung Galaxy S10+. Still stuck at the associate my purifier and going to a screen with only the button finish. Finally it worked. Changed phone to dutch and you HAVE to restart the phone. Without it it wont work. After you did the setup for the device you can change it back to english and restart the phone and it will still work. To bad you have to do these steps.

EDIT: Since they're reply, we wrote them twice now. No reply, no acknowledgement whatsoever. The service is even worse than the appliance. AVOID. Air's Wi-Fi now suddenly is requesting a password. Not allowed I'm without it. Wi-Fi's product is locked. Not reset possible. Tried to reset it 3 times already, unplugged the unit for several hours after, and nothing. How is it possible for Pure Air's Wi-Fi got locked with a password? Lost the unit and no control over the app. How is it possible?

I rarely write reviews but this is just silly. App doesn't connect to my air purifier, its not on the product list, I'm getting a myriad of errors while following manual instructions. I'm returning this $400 piece of underdeveloped garbage on Monday.

Like other Rowenta customers and users of this app, I too encountered an issue while trying to add the device. The app ignores region setting of the phone and decides what models you can add based on the language setting of the phone. Which is stupid and doesn't make sense. So if you're like me and don't want to / can't use the local language in your phone, you can say goodbye to remotely control your new expensive air purifier because I doubt you will want to change your phone's language.

The device I bought had a QR-code for this app on the box. Its a 3 in 1 eclipse tower heater/fan. But this device is not supported in this app. I can add the device if I pretend its a different device, but not all functions work. I was pretty dissappointed with the app. It kinda works to turn it off and on. Great.. ? Then, I was even more dissappointed when my air filter got saturated and the filters have been out of stock for literal months. I had to go to Amazon, probably getting fake ones..

Update: in response to the Dev: No I will not provide personal information. Fix your app! Maybe if the app would actually connect to one of our devices (both Android AND iPhone) we could give a proper review. But as it stands, the app and or the air cleaner will NOT connect via wi-fi when we have fine signal and connection with all our other IOT items. Rowenta, it doesn't take a "Genius" to recognized your app is lacking. I'm not calling your service team, YOU fix your app!
