Fun premise, 2 killer faults. It's pay to progress. As in, pay daily to maybe get some parts for minimal upgrades. Grinding doesn't yield substantial results. Hours and hours for 16 attack points days later? Also, it's drawn to suggest depth, but the aiming mechanism is 2d and flat, which is a continuous, unnecessary adjustment for the brain. I'll enjoy it a bit, but I'll lose interest soon.

Don't get suckered into spending money. Not worth. When you have a good run, and get the balls going for a long time, the game will crash, and put all the blocks back. I don't have a bad phone either. Note 20 ultra. If you set a good position where the balls bounce alot, game will crash. You are punished for doing well. Avoid this game if you're not a fan of frustration. Uninstalling.

Really fun gameplay with an interesting take on the classic brick breaker style. There are in-game purchases but so far I've been able to progress without buying. I love that I can always pause a level and come back to it later. Good job devs! Edit: it happens to every mobile game I suppose. It's officially a pay to win game now Ridiculous prices for various new heroes, pets, gear, all stuff you're almost guaranteed not to get unless you spend hundreds of dollars. Greedy!

This game is a fresh twist on the brick breaker genre. It may feel a little pay to win at first but the game offers plenty of free ways to get gems and coins by watching ads or doing challenges. If you're having trouble with a level you can replay previous levels until you get better gear. I gave it 5 stars because it's a very fun game with nice visuals/ music and most importantly **THE ADVERTISEMENTS DO NOT INTERRUPT GAMEPLAY. ** (which is a huge plus in my book.) My favorite game so far. ♥️

Everything is great till world 9. The level is almost impossible unless you get extremely lucky. Up to this point it's mostly based on skill but then all of a sudden you hit this wall where no amount of skill matters because you can't angle or do enough damage to clear 1 enemy much less the 12 that's spawned every turn after turn 15.

Decent game with slowly increasing difficulty. Ads aren't forced on during game play which is a HUGE bonus. However, the upgrade system is becoming more complex and giving purchasers a definite edge in the PvP mode. Still, this is a Free-mium game that doesn't force ads on you (worth saying twice), which is the way it should be.

I have been playing for over 6 months. I had a fairly good experience. Nice stress relief passes the time. I notice other players doing well on boards. When Lavashell came, I struggled at first. I'm pretty good now, but most game progress has slowed almost to a halt for the tower and main levels. Now I can't get over the elite hump because the game freezes anytime I have a great round. My attention for this game was already wearing down. This might be the nail in the coffin.

OK I enjoy this game, but since the menu overhaul update, the daily challenge has been basically impossible to complete if there are ranged enemies. My health drops faster than getting hit directly, and if I get low once and heal up the next turn, if theres more than one ranged enemy, I die instantly. This is on normal mode! Please fix this. Ranged enemies shouldn't be this overpowered.

I do enjoy this, but I feel like there are a few changes that need to be made. My first problem is the energy, unless if you are one shotting everything then you run out of energy extremely quickly. So it either needs to be removed or you increase the limit to 50 and make it 5 energy to play. Enemy scaling and damage, I also think that some abilities need buffs (like lightning ball) and the health is too high. It starts too easy then the monster's health skyrockets. So balancing is what's needed

Good game in concept. In practice, it is literally unplayable after the first few stages. Not being able to see the rebound angle will totally screw you over, especially since your start point changes based on your last turn. Mobs get too much hp way too fast and will ALWAYS block off the only path to the back row, making it impossible to get a good combo going. I pity any fool dumb enough to actually spend money on this terrible game

I love this game. However, the world cup game crashes, claiming there is cheating every other time I win. Which I am not cheating. It is just a glitchy mechanic and really annoying. Besides that the rest of the game is loads of fun! You can definitely progress without paying, you just have to wait or watch ads.

Played for a while, got amazing gear, and I don't think I spent any money on it. Stopped and came back to being incredibly underpowered by the updates made recently, and there is a graphical glitch that hides normal shots (they're literally invisible) I suspect this is some kind if horrible "performance improvement" for the badly optimized game, too many ads, too much gear/pets "gacha"

This is a masterclass in clickbait advertising. I downloaded this game fully expecting to hate it based on the exact same ad I kept seeing over and over. When I finally downloaded it and started playing, I was pleasantly surprised by the the polish it had. This is a AAA title for the app store honestly. Yeah it's got annoying gacha and "Energy" mechanics, but so far that hasn't been a huge issue to me. Lots of incentives to come back and play more, and the gameplay is genuinely unique and fun.

I wasted a lot of time in this game and had some fun with it. I reached the point where I was doing such laughable little damage that it was impossible to progress without paying for better equipment I guess. It became more frustrating than fun after that, I lost my save (don't remember how) and decided I didn't want to keep playing. Lots of fun, to a limit.

This has always been a fun game, and isn't pay-to-win. 3 stars because of a major usability issue. When I switch to another app (text, email, etc.) in the middle of a battle, and then return to the game, the game app restarts. I am offered the option to continue my battle, but when I do the turn I was about to take is skipped, giving the enemies effectively a free turn. This has cost me at least 300 gems recently. It has also just happened when viewing an ad, and cost me that battle as well.

I've been playing the game for about 4 years now and have spent well over $50 dollars on it. I think it's a good game, but man have they made it challenging after this years update to be able yo beat levels. I have spent at least 5 months on the same level because somehow the skeleton kills me but I can survive peashootets and every other opponent. I just think they need to balance the game better. The amount of life that gets taken away compared to the amount I get back really makes no sense.

Update. Been almost 6 months since my last review and nothing has changed. This game still gets Tangled Up in itself...you will lose your gems and your game. Lame and frustrating waste of time. Deleting it today. January 2024 review:For games with bouncing balls and upgradable characters this game is okay. Its inability to remember where you're at in a battle if you get interrupted for almost any reason is pretty dumb though. You will just lose your turn and die. Dumb. Hasn't gotten any better.

New update, still the same problem. Hardly any balance, game overpowers you with enemies until there's no room for any good angle, and I'm so sick of those stupid peashooters. It's already unplayable enough. They really should not be in every level. Game is only enjoyable if you stay at a lower level for more rewards, which is sad because even that gets repetitive. Good concept. Terrible execution. Really a shame.

Love the concept, but it's a lot more pay to win than Archero (one of their other games), and that's saying something. In Archero, I can at least tell when my character is becoming stronger as I grind. In PunBall, however, I feel like I'm never making progress and whether or not I win is pretty much based on the enemy spawns and which abilities the game chooses to give to me each round. Not really worth playing you're planning to be a free to play user (like me).

I have been playing, almost since this game was new. I would give it 5 stars, because this is a great game, but it's a little glitchy. The problem I have, if I have to close the app while in the middle of a battle, I can come back, and it will ask me to continue. If I say yes, just the hero is there. No pets, no monsters, nothing. You have to start it all over, and if your doing the daily challenge, it takes your energy, and your number is tries. I love the game, but this is frustrating.
