Bad choice. I used to use this app on the daily and since the pay wall I'm blocked out. I refuse to pay for a browser when I can go to the actual duck duck go app for free. Garbage. Don't waste your time. Edit: replying with the same thing to every review doesn't mean anything. Your not even fixing anything. Your just promoting it further. Double edit: just use the regular duck duck go app. That one is much easier to use anyway compared to this and. It's free. And clears everything too.

There are a lot of better options for a browser. You don't have to pay for something like this. Antes podria aver sido El major, ahora todos Los navigators son Buenos Como Para pagar por algo que cuelquier navigator puede hacer , le pondria 0 Estrellas pero no se puede hacer porque tines que ponerle por lo menos una Estrella. I was paying for the service for years, I t doesn't work for me.., now I write a bad review and the developer say uninstall the the fake apk. I found a better option free.

I paid $2.99 for the pro version on June 9, 2013. Edit: I genuinely liked the software and felt like it was appropriate to purchase, especially since I don't mind paying for something that was useful. Felt it was easily worth my $2.99 and it was a easy one time purchase.

Update to the review. Still don't agree with the way the subscription was added and I changed my review from 2 to 1 star after whoever responded to this review flat out telling me to reinstall and pay up. This is unacceptable, even after a year and I'd love it if whoever sent that to contact me on this email and try to explain why I should subscribe. And if piracy is such a big problem then people will just make a free version, so I call Bs. I'd love to speak to you on this matter.

As a long-time user, I had previously enjoyed and appreciated the product's features and functionality, which in turn led me to rate it highly. However, this sudden introduction of a paid subscription has considerably diminished my satisfaction with Puffin. It not only contradicts the principle of providing accessible and user-friendly services, but also undermines the trust I had placed in your brand. Until such time as Puffin removes this paid subscription requirement,I will rate it 5 again

Was using Puffin web browser with yearly subscription on my pc. But apparently it is no longer valid. Very bad. There are lots of other browserd that have more that what is inlcuded with Puffin. Uninstalled. Edit: Puffin Web Browser has a yearly subscription plan. You just added an extra subscription plan for Incognito Browser separately, which is greedy and which is why you get low reviews. Edit: Even Google Play Console lies to you 😂😂😂 you are really useless. Go play elsewhere, you greedy👎

Used to be a good app. But they switched to a subscription based product without any warnings whatsoever. To be fair, $1 a month isn't a lot, but it's the principal..and it doesn't offer features that others don't have. What they claim about "saving data" is irrelevant to most people.

Great app! I needed an incognito browser with basic flash support for Android and didn't need all the other features of their other browsers. It runs smoothly and pages load quickly. If you need more features and don't care as much about incognito, get their other free browsers instead (or support the devs with Puffin Pro). The people giving this app 1 star clearly aren't reading the description and don't understand what the word "incognito" means... 5/5 fantastic app, exceeds expectations

WAS useful... at least before it became subscription based without warning, and even more useful before they split their "incognito mode" entirely into this app and screwed over everyone who paid for their ad-free browser. I'll stick to DuckDuckGo from now on, thanks. I strongly recommend others do the same. [edit: my app wasn't pirated. i got it off google play, as intended. can't say i'm surprised that y'all just sent a pre-written response.] [e2: i uninstalled it off my device but go off ig?]

Install Opera Mini, does the same job but without subscription based. Bye useless browser that informs you on the last moment about their subscription plans. Uninstalled immediately when I saw it. Hope you have fun with it. Puffin is subscription based bla bla bla my buttons yeah. I bet that the company doesn't know how to reply on it.

First of all, your original browser was full of bugs and was terrible at browsing websites even with your ad blocker - the only plus point was the third quality flash player. And still you made it pay to use browser but I ignored that. Now you have even started to bag money for this so called browser which literally does nothing other than browsing websites. How do you even expect people to pay for this which doesn't come with a single feature other than browsing websites.

The subscription model is very costly. Just like you made your first puffin pro a one time purchase, get back to that model and that too at an affordable price. As far as piracy is concerned, since the browser is cloud based, you can use it in such a way that the pirated browser is not able to connect to your server. I am sure developers will understand these things and come up with a better solution.Edit-All the best for your journey ahead .

Their app was actually great when it was free. But they locked everything behind a paid subscription instead of watching ads for access or limited free access. I've seen some concerning replies to reviews (calling others "stupid" and claiming duckduckgo has less privacy than puffin incognito which is untrue according to my own research as someone who has a degree in IT) Not everyone can afford a paid subscription nowadays. I have 0 subscriptions. Yet the developer reports and removes my reviews

Decent Browser, gets the job done... but I'm practically just as unhappy due to the subscription add on, you can't just have something for free and then add paywalls to it later without warning or just setting up premium... that's a BAD business practice, should've just made a different app browser for that... Personally I'd believe you're trying to steal money from people for simple potentially impractical services that used to be free... but I know you guys wouldn't do that right? EDIT: I did.

Really good, lightweight, fast browser. I don't need a lot of potentially privacy compromising features, and those who do are not understanding what this browser is about. I also don't think a dollar a month is excessive. Not blocking cookie consent notices (some of which subject you to time consuming menus) is the only real shortcoming for me.
