I love this app, but I think it could do better. Having stickers to put with the scrapbooking.

I used to love this app and have used it for years- ever since it first came out. But it is unusable now. Constantly crashing on my tablet and I've had countless issues with it deleting my pages, deleting card kits that I had already paid for, and being painfully slow. I've finally had enough and can't use it anymore which is such a shame because I spent so much time and money on this app over the years. I wish the developers would listen to their app users and fix numerous issues.

It would be great to have stickers/elements to place freely, as we can with other software & the ability to move overlays. There are a lot of stickers/elements from the Project Life digital site that would be great in the app. Having this feature would help complete the experience of making a page perfect for print without having to use photo editing software for those final touches. Also, font formatting (bold, italics, etc), and a search feature for kits would be great.

Really cool but a few suggestions. 1) A package payment method to buy all the card sets once at one fee instead of individually which makes it too expensive. 2) Most importantly, NEED A FREESTYLE MODE i hate how i can just place and resize everything wherever i want. It would be great to be able to do that plus add a design card on the same area as a pic (as a background or an element instead of only being either a pic or a design card). If you do this youre the best!

Really wish this app came with a cloud storage account of its own. For the second time in 5 years I've lost all my pages. Somehow the app has crashed and lost everything, and only 5 of the saved backups remain in my camera roll for some reason . I've had this app on Apple and lost everything, and on Android and lost everything again! Hundreds of pages, that would have been secure if the backup process was more seamlessly synced to any other photo storage app.

UI isn't intuitive which makes it hard to figure out how to edit pages, and some elements don't seem to work at all. For instance, I can create an editorial page but when I try to format my text nothing happens; I'll tap to select a font, and the name of it appears in a bubble above the font but my text doesn't change. There isn't a way to save text either; I tap outside the text box to exit as there's no 'save' option, and the text I've typed disappears. Am I missing something?

I really like the photo overlays a LOT. Kits are great too. I just wish it was possible to see two pages side by side (like a 2pg spread) and to be able to use a card in a "wrong sized" spot such as using a 4x6 vertical card in a 2x3 horizontal spot (because sometimes i want just a portion of the card to show).

I just downloaded project Life app for my Android phone. I used to love the old app that came out in 2020. It worked amazing, and I made several great pages. However, I had to get a new phone, and I lost every page that I created in the app. I had several months worth of work. I redownloaded the app, but my old pages are no longer there. The app is completely different, and I cannot figure out how to edit the pages to my liking. It is a lot harder to work with than the old app used to be.

This app has some really cute designs and options. The problem I see with it is that I have purchased these kits to make pages and MOST of the time I can not use the card designs that come with the kits. It is really frustrating. You have to use specific layouts to use things in the kits. I feel like I've spent a lot of money for several cards I cannot use. Also, I don't feel like a person should have to pay for layouts, IMO they should come with. I'm not buying more until it this changes

I really liked this app... Until I noticed everything is behind a paywall. Things you can do in any editing app is behind a paywall. After seeing that, I deleted this app. I can't imagine what else is locked behind a paywall if you already have to pay $5 for a premade layout just to get an editorial with text and a photo. I was hoping this was going to be a kind of scrapbooking app with the ability to freely customize and store your books. And then be able to order a book if you want. Bummer 😞

Updated 3/1/19: App doesn't work well with LG G7 phone. Beware if you have this phone. Journaling in the PL App is not possible. I've downloaded multiple third party keyboards + tried changing all native keyboard functions & cannot journal. Phone keyboard covers App journaling space. Original review: Simple to use & I love scrapbooking again. I record memories via my phone anywhere. No wifi required. Best app I've bought!

I love this app!! I have a memory issue from a childhood TBI. This app has helped me so much with documenting for doctors visits AS WELL as everyday events. I LOVE being able to look back at the pages I've created that help me remember events that have happened in the past. I looked around for some time for an app that didn't decrease the quality of my more professional photos I do with my DSLR and this app has been amazing in keeping the quality of those photos. This app is a WIN, WIN!

I loved this app since it came out in android! It was a game-changer in the world of memory keeping. Loved being able to order prints directly from the app. Since getting my LG G7 thin I have not been able to use the app. The screen on the G7 is long. I am able to use the app on my tablet. Hope they come up with a fix for the LG G7 soon!

This app made scrapbooking so easy and quick. I love that there are so many options of different kits and that I can order prints right from the app. The prints are beautiful, inexpensive, and ship really quickly. Plus the customer service is great. I really struggled to have time to scrapbook after I had my 3rd child. (I had a newborn, a 1-year-old, and a 3-year-old!) I credit Project Life as the reason I was able to catch up!

Love this app! I was able to make a whole vacation album while on the vacation! When I got home I uploaded the photo pages to another app and ordered a book! And bam, my trip was scrapbooked. So easy! And I loved how it turned out. You can order books through the app, and they're very lovely (but pricey). However I exceeded the allowed number of pages for the hard bound book so I ordered mine through another company.

I used to love this app and I have used it since the beginning. It was something I could use while waiting for a school program, or page at after work. The app was so easy to use that I could share my photos from other programs and drop them right into my pages, or prepare pages for social media. With the new update in the past few weeks, I cannot get to my folders to select the correct photos, and I can't share photos from other programs and drop them into my pages. I can't select the background color to match the card kit any more. I can't save my pages the same way and it has become absolutely un-usable for me. Navigating the new system is a huge time-waster and I don't have access to all my kits. I am really disappointed and I'm ready to uninstall the app and move to something more stable.

I used to love this app. But, so many business changes & directions make me no longer want to support. Horrible customer service, especially with Android devices. No way to sync between devices, so I backed up all my in progress pages (with the directions I was given) before I switched over to a new phone. Now I am unable to open over 50 pages. I have been communicating with customer service for nearly a year to get issues resolved, still no resolution...and honestly, they don't seem to care.

I'm a longtime Project Lifer and have been loyal to the products, but physical and digital. But as others have shared, the changes in business direction have only worsened the poor support for Android users. The app has suffered from neglect and has many annoyances and clumsy glitches. I still use it because I don't know of an equivalent, and at its most basic it still works. But I do not in any way feel like a valued customer.

THANK YOU for the fast bug fixes. Still not loving the new navigation but at least it works!!!! ... No longer lets me share photos to the app and drop them in a page (prevents endless scrolling). Page kits I have already purchased are saying that I don't own them and if I try to buy them again it says I already own them and will not let me use them. Cards disappear when I try to move them. New navigation is tedious. Really!?!? I loved this app and now it's a frustrating mess.

I love this app! I've been able to put together a family Yearbook in a short amount of time and had been something I've wanted to do for quite some years now. It would be really nice to be able to make a wish list of sorts to mark what kits you want to buy since there are so many ones. It would be nice to be able to put cards in 'mismatched' sizes like a 4x4 square with a 6x4 card. Also be able to flip a template for example if you're making a two page layout and want it to mirror.
