Regarding the Python course, It was great at first since it was easy to find the courses, now called "tips & cheats", and easy to try out the code in a slider right above the, at the time, course. Now it's it's a near-white grey text on a white screen background, with tons of fluff for their premium content, that isn't even completely available yet. I feel they shifted to PR and maintaining that MMO-style of keeping people to pay, in hopes someone will forget to do so a month or two. Creepy-

First time learning Programming and Data Scientist. Decided to teach myself, and through 'Programming Hub', I've been able to make massive leaps in learning. The teaching style in P.Hub, make it very easy to take the knowledge in and contain it. I have found P.Hub to be the most helpful. I was able to get the full version for only $34.99!! Take advantage of the deal while it lasts! See you on the otherside; maybe as a Data Scientist !

Audio learners this is for you! I have worked in tech for quite some time and I need different skills for each assignment. I learn quickly but what makes me different is I am not a visual learner. This is the first app that provides the context in a clear and concise manner. No room for interpretation and they have a summary for every section. No repetitive tasks unnecessarily, I love it!!!!

I wanted to test the waters before considering the (hugely discounted) pro ver. Being a "visual learner," I was exceptionally pleased with their tactics. Not only does it provide eye-catching visuals relating to the material; it follows with a multiple choice questionnaire to make sure each lesson is retained. It then goes a step further by finishing up with an animated video, repeating the info just learned. So, definitely buying the unlimited pro that includes any new future courses added!♡

So far I like the UI and I enjoy the learning. The voice of the "instructor" on the Python learning is a bit dry but not a deal breaker for me. Reason for 3 stars is that I paid for a service and have yet to receive it. If their customer service solves this issue for me, I will reconsider my rating. If not, that would be very unfortunate. Edit: They got back to me so fast and fixed the issue! I can now say I love this app(:

This app's a great supplement for fundamental concepts in many languages. I paid the $15 for lifetime access to all courses and feel it's been well worth it ( about the same price as 1 Udemy course ). One suggestion : I've found that the font style & size can be hard to parse - especially when learning new concepts. I might be missing something in settings, but it would be awesome for an option to select a monospaced code font like Courier, and smaller font size so code statements dont split.

Just finished the Fundamentals course and I can say there are definitely some shortcomings. The text-to-speech is bad; especially for an app that's supposed to teach programming and such. The grammatical errors make some questions on the test and even during the course slides harder than they need to be. And there are some gaps with explaining concepts before quizzing you on them. Like getting asked what's the difference between a logic bug or syntax bug with only mentioning logic bugs.

Really great app for learning programming. I have used several programs, website, and apps to help broaden my horizons of the world of computers, but I've always given up on them because my ADHD brain cannot stay focused or retain info on boring slides. But this app is different. It has fun pictures and some humor that pleases my brain and makes it MUCH easier to focus. They constantly give more lessons so if you want to learn more about computers, I would highly recommend this amazing app.

As someone who's always been too intimidated to learn programming, I'm really appreciating the Fundamentals course. The app has a variety of courses (I got the big lifetime access deal) of diverse topics and difficulties. I got overzealous and tried to jump right into Python with zero knowledge, reluctantly went to the Fundamentals, and I really appreciate them. My pride wanted to consider the presentation patronizing, but it's honestly been the best way to grasp the concepts simply. Great job!

Enjoying it so far. I'm currently enrolled in a school program for programming and using this as a way to quiz myself regularly to reinforce what I've learned in class. Have to admit that my class is a lot faster learning pace than this site, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The app takes just enough time on a subject to help you understand it which I can appreciate with my fast pass classes.

The computer voice kinda adds to the ambiance of the lessons. I'm only doing the free version but I've learned more in 5 minutes than I would have reading a book about it. I've only completed the first two beginner lessons. But I'm going to continue and update as time goes on. Thank you for free education, something real schools won't do.... update completed the first test in the intro and achieved 75% however it will not load my certificate.

I have completed quite a few courses on this application and I'm unable to download my certificate of completion for some courses or share it. This needs to be resolved. It's not okay that I go through the effort of learning on a platform and developed soft skills only to not be able to showcase this achievement because of unresolved development issues that have been repeatedly brought to the attention of others and have gone unresolved.

I only just started to dabble with the app. However, I noticed one major drawback so far. I will update my review if I find a way to make it work... but for someone who is hearing impaired, there are videos in the lessons that I can not turn subtitles on for. Which makes me feel like I am missing out on some important stuff. I've looked through the settings and can not find somewhere to turn them on. As of now, other than that, I have been enjoying the apps and the courses.

Wish they would have had an actual person to read the script instead. The robotic voice helps only so much. Also it seems that some questions from the exams are not technically taught or reviewed in the actual course itself. It'd be nice to actually code in the app instead of multiple choice questions in my opinion. I feel it would be a great way to get some basic hands on training but I have to say, I really enjoy the feeling of accomplishment when I see my name on the cert endorsed by Google!

This app was confusing at first, but it does help you learn. You need to find some simple courses before you can move on to the complicated stuff, but note that the best experience comes with the pro membership. Note; If your pro membership dissapears for whatever reason, you can send them your receipt or, for me, opening and closing the app a few times works as well.

This app was pleasantly light-hearted with a slightly humorous overtone, which made learning fun and interesting. The list of available courses was very expansive and included all the more recent trending Hot Topic coding areas. The one and only thing that I find lacking is a lack of a back button to back up to the previous page or pages. Not having that ability to back up to previous pages I found at some parts very annoying for re-review so I would include a back button in future releases.

I have finished over eight certifications on programming hub. It isn't very comprehensive but it's great for basic knowledge. I can't say it's specifically helped me get a job, but one can hope. The typos are ridiculous though. 100 and something courses. Before adding more please correct the app. I've had it crash a lot and I've had troubles accessing my Certificates which defeats the purpose of having a certificate.

Typical! They offer a free version in which the user is constantly dealing with ads. Fair, they are getting some payment for their work and the user is getting content at the cost of distraction from the ads. What they don't tell you is when you have reached 27% of the way through, no further unless you upgrade to pro. They offer the upgrade for "95% off" at $34.99 and the price is only available for 24 hours. Poorly programmed bait & switch. Seriously, don't fall for it! Buy a book instead!

Is truly useful when trying to learn a new skill, especially when it comes down to coding. It explains everything perfectly even when getting answers incorrect. It allows you to get an explanation behind. Why you got that answer incorrect? And you are able to change your answer and get an explanation on why it is correct. It doesn't take long. And I usually end up going on it whenever I have the time. It's very quick, usually takes about maybe twenty to thirty minutes to get through a lesson .

I already have a decent amount of experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and some with C#. This app breaks down knowledge into bite-sized pieces and has its own unique personality in teaching you. I'm enjoying learning new things that I missed in languages I've used before and getting good introductions and context for new languages. The quizzes are a bit easy sometimes, especially, but that's fine. Maybe it's just a topic I know well, or they don't aim to overwhelm you with difficulty. Still 5
