Absolute rubbish. App keeps logging you out, fails to recognise your password. Is soo slow a tortoise with 2 legs is faster. Worst app I have had the misfortune to come across. Seriously avoid it. Further to my comments above, I've waited until I had a new phone Google pixel 7a. Same issues so its not the phone/s. Still extremely slow. I have an extension, garage. if I select 2 areas to arm at the same time 1 will dropout! Often when both are set, one will unset. Sort this out.

Pretty pleased with this app and haven't had any of the problems that some others have had. A couple of things that could be better though. It seems the history log will only show the last 15 or so entries. I don't know why that is and I would like to be able to scroll back through all the history that is recorded in the panel. A concern though is that In the event of the alarm being triggered then a voice alert is sent to the app on my phone. That's fine if I have wifi but if not then it seems that the message is "lost" i.e. you don't get it when you have wifi again. That was certainly my experience a couple of days ago when there was a false alarm but I never got the message as I was on a bus and there was no phone signal / wifi. I think that a text should be sent as well so that when you have a signal again you know that an event has happened.

Useless app, doesn't work on Samsung Galaxy S9. When trying to log into the alarm system to arm or disarm it says: "Getting device information. Please wait..." and after 30 seconds it crashes saying: "Connection failed. Disconnecting." Happens over the cellular connection and WiFi (even on the same network at home). If I'm lucky I'll login in after 5 attempts standing outside my front door trying to disarm the alarm, their fob keys are big and bulky. I was hoping to replace them with this.

A very poor App, most of the time it states camera OFFLINE . Its not the Internet connection as the camera work via the television. Very DISAPPOINTED. None should buy this, AVOID at all cost. I've read the reviews and most people are writing about the same issue. I'm surprised the developers have not rectified the issue.

Very unreliable and poor app. Can only connect to system a handful of times otherwise just constantly says "getting device information please wait" and then "connecting failed". Sort this out Pyronix/ Hikvision its a discrace! Update April 2020 Coming up to a year after installing this system. App / Pyronix cloud just as unreliable as ever. Heap of junk. Won't be renewing and will replace it.

**Update** 3/3/2020. Spoken to the technical and they said to set up the device again. This work better for a week and now very inconsistent again! So Frustrating! Should have got a ring alarm. The app is very clunky and doesn't load every time. Even when it does load only show 2 of the zones for setting and typically these are the ones that have no arming available. I have let it run for 2 week now to see if it got any better and has only got worse.

Needs fixing. The app will not stay logged in. After a couple of minutes it comes up with the message 'timed out' and logs you out. 3 out of 4 times logging in it displays devices that are not mine. Very worrying. When it does display my device I am able to control it. Really very poor.

Notifications keep switching themselves off on one of the cameras. The App frequently closes and doesn't open. Paying for a shoddy home security system that is unreliable. Would not recommend this product. They direct you to your installer if you need help. What use is that when you want something sorted quickly ?

Regularly doesn't connect when trying to login to the alarm system... sometimes trying 10+ times to just get in. When it does connect often it doesn't even show the correct zones (half missing, half back to default name, nothing works). Notifications don't always work either. Pretty useless for the price. Come on guys, fix the app finally!

Good when it works , but it doesn't always work , used it to disarm the alarm Wednesday morning went to set the alarm Wednesday evening and it would not connect and it still will not connect!! Update. It started working again a few months later in the middle of the night telling I had an alarm which I didn't it went on for quite a while with this message then started working normally for a few months. Once again set the alarm on going to bed and in the morning it has stopped working !!!!!!!

This app is seriously flawed. Connects to system ok when the alarm isn't set, and allows you to set it. However, doesn't connect when the alarm is armed!!! Just get garbage listed like "device3" or "station1". Therefore only way to disarm is via the keypad. Had my alarm a week, and never received a notification yet either! This makes the alarm not fit for purpose, might contact UK trading standards.

It works, but it's slow and clunky meaning you end up not using it as it takes too long. There are various improvements that could be made to the layout and set up experience as it's not user friendly. A huge improvement would be for it to auto connect to the alarm system once opened by fingerprint - as this is secure - rather than having the additional step of having to enter your alarm passcode and waiting for it to connect everytime. Push notifications of alarm trigger work well though.

Reluctantly I'm giving this app 2 stars. I get push notifications from the alarm but not the cameras. PIR alarm set through the web interface, push notifications alarm schedule set to 24/7. So I should be getting push notifications. What is interesting is that the alerts are there in the message centre within the procontrol+ app but no push notifications. So the camera is doing its bit but the app isn't. It's a pity because it's a great concept but it shouldn't need an installer to set this up. An end user should be able to do this. I really hope this problem is fixed OR it's made more user friendly....

This app is unreliable and it isn't user-friendly. It crashes frequently and it often takes several attempts to login. Once I've had 50 notifications, the notifications stop and I have to delete them before they start again. This happens every few days. The notifications are annoying and it isn't possible to control which notifications I receive and what they sound like.

The app is able successfully to arm and disarm our burglar alarm. However, the process of setting it up is very tricky and unintuitive. There are various official YouTube videos which purport to show how to do this, but they don't address how to set up the app for a new alarm. I was obliged to have a technician, from the firm who installed the alarm, take me through the procedure over the phone.

Previous iterations have been good. However, for the last 1 month has been terrible. Simply unable to login. Discussed with alarm company who blame it on my phone, the WiFi, if I'm at home, if I'm not at home etc for the 'signal' issues. Long and short of it is that I've now installed and uninstalled the app 3 times in as many weeks to get it to work sporadically at best. Very frustrating, as I have liked it pretty reliably for the 2 previous years I've had it. Not any more....

I suppose the app on a basic level works as I did receive a notification when I tested the alarm but the fact that the app doesn't remember the user code and app password (even though I ticked save password) makes it highly inconvenient to use to arm and disarm. For the time being at least I'll just use the fobs but very disappointed. Hopefully an update is not too far away.

Cameras keep saying they are offline. I have to keep switching on and off the Internet. Its not the Internet as virgin say its working perfectly. Getting to the point why have I got these cameras or is it the app. Can I use a different app? Still keeps doing the same thing. Unreliable security system. The app keeps saying offline, then have to turn off the Internet and then turn it back on, even though its on and the laptops are fine and working. The APP is rubbish!

Incredibly poor user experience. The app used to work OK (not great, just OK), yet for the last month (of the three months we've had the alarm) none of my family's four devices (both Android and Apple) can connect to the panel. It's just repeated 'failed to connect' messages, even when we are in the house and stood next to our router. Appalling functionality, it simply does not work and is certainly not what I paid for. Stop ignoring these reviews Pyronix and just sort the damn app out please.

This app used to be good now it is next to useless. The log in is hit and miss for the alarms. Notifications are useless as the "you have an alarm activation" no longer triggers. The only option in the app is for an "intense" sound if the alarm goes off but this doesn't work either. This is the third phone that this has happened on so it can't be blamed on the phones.
