Awesome deals and user friendly! You can't go wrong with Priceline they beat everyone else. Just drove across seven states in August 2020. Purchase my hotel rooms through Priceline a few hours before we arrived in the city. The more you use Priceline the better the deals are!!!! I paid $87 for a 4-star hotel in Nashville and that includes tax! This was August 2020

Priceline used to be a great way to save money on good hotels. Nowadays not as much. With all the taxes & added fees it ends up costing almost as much as booking without using Priceline. The customer service at Priceline is not very good either. With each passing year I am becoming more & more disappointed with Priceline. Unfortunately they are still considered one of the best booking/discount apps we have

I like how the app is set up, and the ease of use. I am constantly getting crazy good deals on hotels that I would otherwise never be able to afford. However any time I've needed customer service....let's just say that the customer service may as well be nonexistent. And I'm a "platinum " member, so theoretically I am supposed to be "top priority" hence the 3 stars.

HORRIBLE! *DO NOT USE!* They try to get you to download the app to get certain discounts (usually very minimal discounts at that...I'm talking under $10, and it's pretty much always "Express Deal" only, where you don't know what you're getting, until you book.) ..Don't do it! Their app is AWFUL! Way less features than their website, not easy to navigate, and super glitchy. I lost over $200, because the book now pay later option then switches to full payment upfront once you click it. Beware!

Booking a hotel for DC. Picked a hotel, but looked at an Express deal. Funny thing, the hotel I picked and the Express deal were the same price, $192/night for 7 nights, but the "taxes and fees" were $100 higher on the Express Deal. Oh yeah, the Express Deal ended up being the same hotel I was planning on getting anyway.... But I ended up paying $100 more. Huh, great deal. Last time I use Priceline

I travel for business and use priceline several times a week. This last experience has me looking for other options. Was double charged on a hotel reservation, this has happened before and it was corrected. This time, the customer service experience was a hassle that led to me disputing the charge with my bank. My bank quickly was able to see the issue in my account and processed the dispute. Priceline, not so much. I offered to send screenshots of my banking information to no result.

I scored a couple great deals on Priceline already. The app does have room for improvement though. Sorting through hotels is a bit of a pain, with more options on the actual website, from my experience. I also found more express deals for the locations that I was searching on the actual website than the app. In theory, the opposite should be true, but that's my experience so far. The app seems much more streamlined and limited for quick booking. However, it is user-friendly.

I will never book anything through Priceline again. I booked a hotel through them and my search criteria was to be close to the airport. I took the deal where they give you 3 hotels to choose from. I picked the Holiday Inn Express mostly because of the name brand. I have to say the hotel itself is very nice. Staff is friendly and helpful. Very clean. The problem? It's about as far away from the airport as you can get. Flight is at 6am. Wouldn't do a thing to help.Told me to deal with it.

Up until now, Priceline was great! However, I scheduled for a rental through Priceline from a fraudulent company called Easirent. They scheduled me a pick up time at 6 pm at the airport to pick up my rental, only to find out not only are they not at the airport, but they closed at 6 pm and charged me for a the rental anyway. I called customer service and nothing was done!

Used the Priceline Express Deal to do a booking in Orlando for July 30th to August 5th. The deal I got was $500 for a 3* hotel that is about 30 mins away from The Magic Kingdom. If I did not use the Express Deal, then I would have found a better hotel for almost the same price, that is 7-15 mins away from Magic Kingdom. Are express deals really worth it ? I dont think so.

The Express Deals are great for traveling on the fly. However, when the "Taxes and Fees" are an additional 30% of the original price, that leaves you questioning the "deal" you just signed up for. And when you look up a more customized (and slightly pricier) option for the same hotel, the room price goes up, and the "Taxes and Fees" hang out at 15% instead. Tried to look into the breakdown of these "Taxes and Fees" but much to my expectation there wasn't an easily accessible way to do this.

Don't use, risky! I used the app to book a hotel. I set the date I needed, found the hotel and switched to other apps to check the price. Later I returned to the app and completed the booking. It turned out that my booking for the previous day was more than I needed initially. I lost $98, the payment is non-refundable. The application itself changes the dates after a while. Today I was looking for a car rental through the website and right before my eyes the date changed to another one.

Easy to understand. Lists all the information I'm looking for unlike TripAdvisor. Gives me great prices as well. Thanks priceline! The only thing I don't care for is I can't see the hotel until I book it. Unfortunately the only hotel I have a problem with out of the 3 probabilities, I was booked at but can't change it. During my stay there was a double shooting, several incidents where the authorities were involved. And the rooms are missing a great deal of things such as towels, etc.

I'll never use again. Booked a stay. And upon booking the travel 10 mins later decided to add days to my trip. The customer service on chat did not allow me to add time to my trip. I asked if I could cancel and re book with the extra days. They said no and I'd have to call the hotel to ask. They hotel says they do not deal with any third party reservations and are no help. I booked it 10 mins ago and was told any changes were to results in "no show" fees of the entire cost of the booking.

I am IMMEDIATELY leaving a negative review. I booked a trip on the web browser. When I click print a pop-up about the app appears and will not go away. As soon as you book and it knows it, the web page becomes useless. So you are forced to get the app. Which I will promptly delete and never use Priceline after this trip is done. Back to Booking or Travelocity EDIT: IT GETS WORSE! download app. Create account. Finally get my trip added. Click details and this damn app just loads chrome !!!

you need to be vigilant to find really good deals as Priceline doesn't offer up the best initially. Their reviews of individual providers is not always relevant to the locality you may have selected. And their directions to locate amenities selected is not always up to date ...esp at airports. But stick with them and if you select a service thru them, always select the pay later option so you can cancel while searching for better deals...it all pays off as those deals seem to appear later

The app works well, but the discounts suck. Also, they only give discounts while you're already vacationing, and by the time you're off vacation the discounts are no longer valid. I have a gold membership, but the benefits aren't worth the prices you pay for hotels. Their service fees while booking are also very high, so by the time you get a little hotel discount the service fee brings the price right back to the original hotel charge.

Their "deals" are not anything that the hotel isn't willing to pricematch if you call them directly and ask for that price... doing this allows for a much more pleasant and helpfull customer service experiance. And as far as the APP vs the website goes...room pictures never work on the APP. I have to go to the website to view pics of the room I want. The app doesn't come with any extra discounts. Skip it. Delete it. Don't need it.

this app usually lands in the top 3 lowest room rates, amongst all the travel/lodging site options...and applies decent discounts if you join their vip member club. pretty disappointing that each time they send a promo code to use for additional savings, it seems like it's always expired or not applicable with my purchase, even if it seems like the purchase qualifies under all circumstances. still has some of the best overall pricing relative to value, in my opinion.

This is a POS app. Coupons don't work hotels offered are nowhere near destination sometimes. Deals are not very good at all most of the time, and hotel ratings are fake. Doesn't mention some hotels charge to park your car, which is added fees, and is also extortion. Forcing you to pay extra just to park your transportation at the place you're staying should be wrong to do to their guests.
