More About Pregnancy App & Baby Tracker

The Bump’s free pregnancy app is the most loved pregnancy and baby tracker for expecting and new parents, providing features you won’t find on other baby apps:
** FEATURES **

HOW BIG IS BABY
The Bump is the original home of the cute fruit.

Prepare to smile and look forward to each week: The Bump compares baby’s growth in utero to beautifully illustrated produce (“Baby Is As Big As a Peach”) in a way that’s fun and easy to share with friends and family.

Discover comprehensive updates about the changes and developments happening to both baby and your body while you’re pregnant, and learn how best to plan ahead.

BABY NAMES
From name length and style to country of origin and meaning, you’ll find baby’s name in one of The Bump’s specially curated lists.

INSIDE THE BUMP
See an exciting and exclusive 3D interactive visualization of baby's week-by-week growth. Interact and learn new facts about baby like never before with the next step in baby growth trackers.

DAILY ADVICE
Every day, the award-winning editorial staff of The Bump delivers fresh and relevant content for your specific week of pregnancy. The articles are timely and comprehensive: always know what’s safe and standard; find out how to ward off morning sickness; learn the best things to pack in your hospital bag; and discover the best prenatal workouts for you.

TOOLS
The Bump’s comprehensive suite of helpful tools makes it the versatile free baby app for you. Stay up to date on you and baby’s progress with invaluable tools like the pregnancy countdown tool, baby growth tracker, a due date calculator, a kick counter, a pregnancy weight gain tracker, and a contraction counter to determine when it’s time to enact your birth plan. And the Bump’s food safety tool provides nutritional guidance and helpful information throughout your pregnancy.

PLANNER+
A feature that equips every expecting mom with important information about their prenatal doctor visits. It suggests questions to ask your doctor and integrates appointments seamlessly with your mobile phone's calendar.

REGISTRY
The Bump is solving two of Baby Registry’s biggest challenges:

+ The Bump has collected the top registry products across Amazon, Target, Walmart and so much more, complete with reviews from parents who’ve been where you are. This registry has only grown over time, so you can be sure you’ll find everything you want and need.

+ The typical mom-to-be will register at two or more stores, because there are always some items that require a special, secondary registry. When it comes to managing multiple registries, the Bump has you covered. The Bump will automatically track your registries across each retailer, so you can keep tabs on what you’ve registered for, what’s been bought and what’s still waiting on your registry.

PREGNANCY AND BABY PHOTOS
Document your pregnancy by creating a weekly album of your happily growing belly. And once baby is born, the album expands to track their first amazing year in the world.

CUSTOMER SERVICE
The Bump team reads every email, answers each phone call and takes all of your reviews to heart.

I'm editing my review for two reasons: There is zero representation of women who are even slightly "overweight", and none of the articles are targeted toward that population as well. The zero visible representation is a little disheartening as someone who falls into that category. The other thing I would like (and would pay for) is a pregnancy symptom/daily tracker. There is a weight tracker, and that's valuable, but it would be great to be able to go into Dr. Appt with this information.

Have been using this since month 3 in my pregnancy and still using it as my son turns 8 months! An app that grows with us, with relevant articles and resources that help my husband and I stay informed with every stage. Highly recommend it to anyone trying to get pregnant or already are, or have already had their baby!

I love it, however, some of the daily size comparisons become inaccurate and after the 2nd trimester I've disregarded them and just kept to the weekly fruit comparisons. That, and I've been starting to get a new message from the app really early in the morning that says 'Empty Notification'. As it reads, it has absolutely no purpose and makes me laugh from time to time.

It has the potential to be the best app, I've learned a lot. But there are bugs thatneed to be fixed, particularly on the part where you can learn about baby and mommy, mommy part doesn't work at all, and the last page of learning about the baby makes the entire app freeze, wish they would fix this!

The updates and "what-to-expect"s along the way are helpful, so I'm not stressing over every little discomfort or weird feeling. Knowing my symptoms are normal for each stage in pregnancy is very helpful. I enjoy the videos about what baby is growing and doing week by week. The photo feature doesn't always work well and I mostly end up taking my "bumpies" on my camera but they don't always upload to the app very well, and it's glitchy when loading the My Body portion, but overall very useful.

I'm a first time mommy and this app definitely helped me with tracking my baby and any questions I may have had. I do wish it had maybe a group for other mommies to talk both single and non but, that's alright. It's a very great colorful app. It should also include a baby kick timer and a contraction timer as well. Maybe going the extra miles as well to have free exercise videos would be nice instead of some of the pointless ones.

I really enjoy this app but I havent been able to log into my account for a couple of days. I've email the support team twice and haven't since my account my be resolved. If someone could please help asap. I'd appreciate it. Not to mention, I actually miss using the apps and my data stored in it. Someone help please! Update: issue resolved. Love this app! Still using it postpartum

I truly enjoy the weekly pregnancy information. Especially the daily "your baby is the size of ..." It's truly adorable! The 3D interactive baby and mom tool is also very neat. The articles are never ending which is great, a little something for every unique parent. I thought I'd personally be obsessed with pregnancy tracking apps, but instead they are great tools to have right in the palm of your hand. It's helpe me enjoy my first pregnancy, rather than missing special moments. I love this app!

Decent app for all things pregnancy... It has a lot of features and a good community. Unfortunately it has some performance issues, videos won't play, and many articles are absurdly short/superficial. The app also loses my place whenever I open a browser window or respond to a text.

I downloaded about 5 pregnancy apps on the beginning and the bump is my favorite! Easy to use, visually pretty, and a wealth of information on anything you could want to know concerning pregnancy, birth, post partum and everything in between. They have a super cool 3d feature where you can see your body and baby's development each week that really sold me on the app.

I've used this app for both my pregnancies and it's great! Helps keep you on track and what to expect through each trimester. Love all the articles, tips and product suggestions. It allows you to connect with other moms at the same stages or baby name search! Now the post partum articles are helpful as well, which I didn't use the first time around, but am finding beneficial now!!!

honestly could nor imagine my pregnancy without it. i had way too many moments of "this cant be normal" to later read almost word for word what Im going through on this app. It is insanely accurate. very fun and higher end graphics that make showing everyone else all the more fun. they have this amazing ability to get a 3d view of a baby at whatever week youre at that youre able to learn as much as possible. the tips are amazing. again- this app is the best out there. highly reccommend

Love this app! Was looking for an app just like this to keep up and have fun with my pregnancy, but couldn't find one till I found this app! It shows you a really cute comparison of the size of your baby to fruits and vegetables week by week, and it also has a ton of really interesting articles I can't stop reading... like it a lot! Lots of cools features too.

My app is suddenly changed. I suddenly can not interact or communicate in my birth month club...it's just not even an option to comment or like any posts or on any threads. Like I said, all of a sudden. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and logging out and in again. I emailed the app as well and haven't heard back from them yet. If it would function properly and consistently, which it does not, I would rate it much better.

Best pregnancy app I've used. When I got pregnant I downloaded a couple different ones but none of them had the articles, layout and comparisons like this app. I like how it shows you the exact size of your baby in comparison to a fruit but it does it differently than other apps. A lot of apps just told you and didnt show you anything. i also like the interactive uterus where you get to learn about new development every week.

I wanted to love this app but it was very buggy on my android. The weekly bump/body updates took forever to load, it straight up refused to upload any pics (just spun and spun and timed out), unable to update my profile due date ("unable to update profile at this time"). Now I've logged out and can't log back in. I'm done and uninstalling. Loved the content though.

I love that this app generates articles for you to read that are really applicable to whatever stage of pregnancy you're going through over time. It caters to how far along you are and suggests articles of hot topics of that particular stage. Some are more light hearted (like picking names) and some in regards to frequent concerns (like having early contractions). The comparison to food items that can change drastically in size is a bit iffy (like squash), but fun nonetheless!

I love this app, but unfortunately for me it won't start anymore. It keeps crashing, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and that didn't work. As soon as I click on the Bump app, it tries to start and then I immediately get a black screen and "Unfortunately, the Bump has stopped." Very disappointing as this is my favorite pregnancy app.

Great until you have a loss. I really enjoyed using the app while I was expecting, it was very informative and easy to use. Yesterday it was confirmed that I lost my pregnancy. Today I went to mark this in the app and it asked what information I wanted to see in the feed. I tried both options and there were constant errors which prevented me from being able to save the changes, meaning I will continue to receive emails about my now lost pregnancy.

I love this app and use it daily. I do wish they had some sort of calendar function to track appointments, food, activity, health check-ins like blood pressure, etc. One other thing that drove me batty was that there seems to be something buggy about writing text in the message boards. My text would repeat words, leave off punctuation that I typed, and other sorts of buggy things that resulted in me having to edit posts constantly from the weird typos. Only happens in the message board here.
